Great place to stay! I had a nice room overlooking Quito, everything was very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful old world hotel in the heart of Quito. The staff were all lovely without exception. We arrived early in the morning and they dealt with us with grace and charm.

They have a quaint Cafe with an excellent latte and Delicious chocolate croissants and pan dulce with cheese inside. My favorite Cafe in Cuenca.

The Illa Experience Hotel was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. The hotel building is an architect’s dream, with interesting features throughout.

We got an amazing room which had a separate seating area and a good size bathroom. The reception was very good, staff were wonderful and organized a cultural event every late afternoon.

We absolutely loved Itza. So so many good things about this place including location Lobby entry safety and very friendly staff.

Lovely boutique luxury property with attentive staff that are comfortable conversing in English. The rooftop patio is a must do. Valeria that served us that is an absolute treasure!

Stayed here for a wedding in June 2025 flying all the way from Barbados, an island in the Caribbean. Service was 10/10 and staff was very welcoming and pleasant.

We stayed two nights at Mansión Alcázar Boutique Hotel with my wife and her sister along with her husband, each couple having their own room, and the experience was excellent from start to finish.

This hotel must have the best view in Quito. It really is a delight — beautiful interior decor throughout. The rooms are very comfortable and clean although there is not much storage space.

A very special place. Beautiful decor, incredible view, exceptional service, delicious food and fabulous location. The jacuzzi and steam room were the perfect way to land and recover from the travels.

Nice enough bargain, pensione-style accomodations. Located near Plaza Fochs. Staff speaks little English, had some "lost in translation" moments.

Stayed at Hotel Sandmelis for 2 nights (3 days). Our stay was wonderful! Its a safe and quiet hotel that's only a few minutes from Parque Carolina, and everything else was a short taxi drive away.

I don't know about the rooms. I only come here for the thermals, cold plunge, steam room. There are two different locations.

PROS: social hostel. Amenities are really good. Rooftop is an amazing place to socialize. The tours are really worth it. Staff was very friendly and helpful, specially Marta, Mayu, Mario and Irwin!

This is an old historic building, the room had a table, chair, clothes, storage, a toilet and shower with hot water. The hotel staff were extremely nice and accommodating, and helpful.

It’s central from a lot of things and we had an easy time getting around. The hotel manager was very gracious in accommodating our midnight flight arrival.
