Stayed at Hotel Sandmelis for 2 nights (3 days). Our stay was wonderful! Its a safe and quiet hotel that's only a few minutes from Parque Carolina, and everything else was a short taxi drive away.

This is a truly lovely boutique hotel in central Cuenca. Good sized rooms well appointed and insulated. Slept soundly throughout. Great restaurant and friendly efficient staff.

The staff here were very friendly and helped us find a cheap phone after my friend left his in a cab. The rooms are big for the value and the washrooms were nice.

We had the privilege of staying at Casa Rosada for one month. As our taxi pulled up to the charming green doors, Luis was there waiting for us on the sidewalk for a hearty Cuencan welcome.

Our stay at La Casa de las Rosas was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail.

What a perfect introduction to Ecuador. Lovely people. Excellent location. Close to everything but on a quiet pedestrian street. Great breakfast. Beautiful views. Lovely to linger.

Fantastic stay at La Cartuja. Karla made sure we were well looked after with every amenity needed (clothes washing, taxi, drinks). The hotel was clean and fresh and the beds were comfy.

Accommodation is older but kept clean and comfortable. Patrice who mans the reception, is a helpful and friendly character. He makes the atmosphere warm & welcome. Beds are comfy.

Staying at this hotel was like stepping back into a different era in the best possible way. The building has a classic old-world charm that perfectly matches the historic beauty of Cuenca.

Hot water was sometimes challenging but I think it is common in Ecuador. Price is appropriate. Staff is very friendly. I felt safe while at the hotel.

We found the hotel Vieja Cuba to be a charming hotel that was very clean and wonderfully decorated. The morning breakfast was excellent and the coffee was always available.

Did three nights in room 1403. Per the date above, we've been in Peru and Ecuador the last two week up to our stay.

This review is about the spa at the hotel. I had a 60 minute facial with Ana. She was just wonderful. Not only was the facial amazing but I think it’s the most relaxed I have ever been.

I was in Quito for business and this hotel was perfect. The hotel is in a great location close to many restaurants and is easy to get to other parts of the city.

The lobby is beautiful, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the rooms are so massive they feel like multi-room apartments.

We had spent 4 days getting there and what a relief! They sent a taxi to pick us up at Quito airport and bring us to the Ilatoa Lodge.

The owners were wonderful people who were very accommodating. Our room was immaculate with beautiful views. The dogs on property were so friendly.
