The shower is very small the closet is scary the TV is confusing and the controller is broken there is explicit adult content in the child’s Chanel. Cheep low batey equipment and the bathroom doorknob is broken and barely works the food is fine though the rooms are expensive.

Such a beautiful and charming hotel. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and the hotel was in a wonderful location with many restaurants and sights within walking distance. A great place to stay in Cuenca.

This is absolutely a charming hotel. It is so well located in the old city that you can walk and see everything from the old cathedral to the new. The market is very close as is the river and so many museums. The rooms are very well accommodated and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are not air conditioned but we had no need while we were there. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful with made to order eggs each day. The on site restaurant has a good selection and very delicious options. Highly recommend if you are not looking for the cookie cutter room.

If you are looking for an interesting and reasonably budget friendly hotel in Cuenca, the Hotel Inca Real is a great choice. Its location (2 blocks from Plaza Calderon) is perfect. The staff is as friendly and helpful as they come. Its multiple courtyards, that run along a long axis, are bright and inviting. You might get fancier breakfasts elsewhere, but you’ll pay quite a bit more for them (and the made to order omelettes at Inca Royal quite good). One reviewer complained about the coffee. OK, it’s from a conventional coffee maker, but it wasn’t at all bad when I was there. Another reviewer complained about noise. The rooms can be noisy. The walls are hard and our room (8b) did not keep the noise from getting in. But at night, when we wanted to sleep, it was as quiet as anyone could have wished. We slept really well while we were there.

Honestly it is a beautiful hotel, but I honestly do not return to this hotel as long as it is managed by the current management, I have always believed that the most valuable thing about a business is its people.

Only stayed 1/2 day being we were taking a bus to Quito. But the building was beautiful, staff went out of their way to help you. Made copies for us answering all our questions. Had lunch $10 pp was excellent. Soup, entree, dessert and juice. Would like to spend a few days. Unfortunately it’s the middle of the virus so kind of stuck inside. But its all good.

The parking is about 500m, and you are restricted by the service of going to take out and store the vehicle. The man in charge of opening and closing the parking is malgenio.

Gorgeous hotel, very helpful staff. Accommodated us last minute rather late and gave us a charming room. Breakfast was delicious. Incredible value for the price. Water was not exactly hot however, the only negative, but cool showers are good every now and then!

Centrally located and easy to walk to many tourist attractions. Our room was spacious and comfortable and reasonably quiet, although we did find it rather warm and stuffy as it only had windows onto an inner courtyard. The bathroom could perhaps have done with an update, but it was clean and functional. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the tapas were delicious. We loved the quirkinesses and character of the hotel and the staff were always helpful and courteous.

Lousy attention of the chef who greeted me, supposedly it is a breakfast Buffet and at the time only you should take 1 juice and the manager says it is new, and the lord has time to work with You, or mad I go back to your hotel.

I want to give this hotel a good review because the staff is friendly and lovely. However, it’s loud (there’s a locked gate and you have to ring a doorbell that echos through the whole hotel). The rooms are hot and stuffy even though it’s in the 50’s at night. You can’t get coffee until 7:15 am and it was the worst coffee I’ve ever had. My omelette had a foul taste and had chunks of something that I didn’t recognize. We booked this hotel due to a recommendation and that was a huge mistake.

This was my eleventh time staying here. Very English friendly. Great staff and food.
