We chose Hacienda Santa Ana for a corporate retreat and team integration. Amazing experience, the food is fantastic, the activities, the service.

We only spent one night, but it was great. Our host was very welcoming. He served us tea to combat the altitude, told us about the history of the area, and arranged for a horseback riding tour.

I definitely recommend Rosim Hostel to plan hikes as the owner knows the area very well and is super helpful. I enjoyed my stay in the hostel and had nice chats with the staff and volunteer.

Outsanding attention by Santiago. He gave us excellent advice about Cotopaxi tour, Laguna Quilotoa and Chimborazo and even helped us to arrange it (Cotopaxi).

The stuffs're friendly and helpful. You can see mountains from the rooftop. (copotaxi, Il linisa norte, corazon…)

Good rooms, good bathrooms. Good kitchen with fridge. Wifi mostly works. Cheap but good. Good pool table to play and room to socialize if you want to under the roof, really cool in night. Recommend.

Excellent value for money. Lovely courtyards and service very good. We had to leave very early in the morning to catch a 5.30 am bus. They got us a taxi and we're on hand to make sure all was well.

This is a gorgeous, well maintained piece of history. Every inch is covered with antique furnishings, cozy nooks, a fireplace in every sitting room, and one orange, fat cat (gato gordo naranja).

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. A very unique experience with all the history and having a small church. The room was spacious with a fireplace.

26 of us drove in a bus the 30 minutes on the dirt washed out road past the volcano to the Vulcan Restaurante to come have a good food experience.

Only did horseback riding through them, but I wanted to make sure they got their due for a great ride through the park. Rest of the hotel seemed very clean and upgraded for it's location.

Beautiful place! We had a master class in making cheese and spicy sauce! Especially thanks to Amparo the boss of the kitchen and Daniel and his son Carlos! Highly recommended ❤️

We spent one night here, in between climbs, coming down from Iliniza Norte and before cotopaxi. We had the best rest ever.
It is a beautiful spot, super calm and exactly what we needed.

It was an absolutely fabulous stay at Cuello de Luna, it is a beautiful secluded property which makes you feel right out in nature.

Nice common spaces, and the room was comfortable and well-kept. Dinner is $10/person, and Luciano and Lola are very friendly and welcoming.

I stayed one night in Hostal Hilda while hiking the Quilotoa Loop. The room was very comfortable and appeared to be in the newest section of the hostel.

Lovely lovely place! The personal is super kind and hard working and putting so much effort to make feel you comfortable.

Set menú fresh food.
Excelente breakfast, Fruits salad, yogurt, granola, bread, eggs and lots of coffe.
The service is excellent, nice friendly staff.

Best hostel we have ever stayed at. Dinner and breakfast included. Beautiful room and views. $7 for one hour in spa and sauna. Free yoga. $5 two for one happy hour!

Wow! What a fabulous experience we had here at Llullullama.

We stayed at Rondador Cotopaxi on our way to Quilotoa loop hike. We had a great stay! Francisco guided us up the mountain to 16, 408 feet! He also took us to the lake, we saw lots of wild horses.

Rondador Cotopaxi is a place with real character and charm.

Such a kind lady who runs the hotel! Our stay was very comfortable and as others have said, they kept our bags free of charge during our quilotoa loop hike.

The people that run this hotel — God bless them — they are the kindest people you could ever meet. The hotel location is perfect too!

The host was lovely, views of the volcano were incredible and the food was delicious. Would recommend the tour the host organises of Cotopaxi.

This place is a true gem and one of the best stays I’ve ever had in Ecuador. Run by a wonderful local family, it feels more like staying in a warm and loving home than in an accommodation.

A unique and gorgeous lodge. I stayed here one night in May 2026 I would have stayed longer if it were possible! Grace was so incredibly kind and made me feel at home.

We booked to go hiking with Wily (@wilymountianguide) and spent all of our time Wasi Andina Lodge when not hiking. Wily is an excellent guide.

Illinzas Wasi Hostal is the place to stay if you want to hit the local mountains.

I can't recommend enough! We only had one night after exploring Cotopaxi but I wish we had more to properly explore the area. The house was clean, all the amenities you could want and comfortable.

Lovely mountain lodge in Chuchilan! We stayed at Black Sheep Inn for one night while doing the Quilotoa loop hike. The staff was super friendly and helpful and prepared us delicious meals!
