Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Paola was a fantastic host. This is an excellent central point and launching pad for heading into the big mountains. Great value and nice, quaint town.

It is a lovely place! Surrounded by nature and with beautiful landacapes. There is also a little farm and a playground for the little ones, which I think is perfect for families.

In general a great experience. Could not ask for much more! Great view, food portions were generous and delicious open kitchen that added extra comfort of cleanliness.

We spent 5 days at this lovely hacienda and rode their extremely well trained and well cared for horses. Our room was beautiful and had huge views of nearby mountains.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at Hacienda La Alegria, it was simply perfect from start to finish.

Reasonably priced accommodation on the edge of town but a close enough walk to eateries. Super easy access to Cotopaxi National Park (about a 40 minute drive away).

Everything! Darwin and his staff are excellent! I was there for 5 nights in February while my son climbed Illiniza and Cotopaxi.

First of all, Darwin is an exceptional host who goes above and beyond for his guests. You can tell he is passionate about his guesthouse and cares for his guests. And he is an incredible chef!

Great stay. The Host Ara was amazing. They have breakfast and dinner if you'd like for extra. The rooms were very clean. The rooms don't have a heat but alpaca blankets will keep you so warm.

Stayed at Mateospaxi before doing Iliniza Norte for acclimitization. Rooms and space were great. Nice balcony and common areas. Our host was super helpful and responsive.

If you're even thinking about doing Cotopaxi or any of the surrounding hikes, you have to stay here.
Don't do a day trip, don't find another hotel, stay here.

This wonderful place is a lovely place to rest, recharge as well as to engage in wonderful adventures should one choose to be a little more active.

Very good place to relax before or after a hike. Friendly staff, nice SPA, common area with table tennis and pool table, good meals.

Stopped here for lunch whilst passing through (has a convenient location close to Iliniza peaks) and the steak was so tasty we returned the next day!

A little lacking in organization but they are still available to help us.

We chose Hacienda Santa Ana for a corporate retreat and team integration. Amazing experience, the food is fantastic, the activities, the service.

We only spent one night, but it was great. Our host was very welcoming. He served us tea to combat the altitude, told us about the history of the area, and arranged for a horseback riding tour.

Great place to spend some time in the mountain. Good food and service. The lovely owner makes you stay at home.

Great Hacienda in Cotopaxi National Park. Spacious rooms with extraordinary views. Good food offerings and very friendly service.

Only did horseback riding through them, but I wanted to make sure they got their due for a great ride through the park. Rest of the hotel seemed very clean and upgraded for it's location.

This is a very nice rustic location convenient to the National park.

Beautiful spot! You can see all of the wildlife. The staff is very attentive and the meals were divine and so fresh! They make their own dairy products so you taste everything farm to table.
