This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The service is great and they treat you like royalty from the moment you step foot into the hotel. Food was fantastic, the butlers are great, the wait staff is fabulous, & the concierge service is wonderful. Sammy with the concierge staff was always so friendly and so helpful every opportunity that we needed something. The entire experience was fabulous and if you want to plan a dream vacation this is the perfect spot!

This Resort is super awesome, everybody is friendly, food is excellent, great amenities, very clean.

This place is by far one of the nicest resorts I have been to. The staff is absolutely fantastic! Dawel and Staling, my butlers, were always on top of everything I asked for. The entertainment is great, the food is top notch, and the facilities are excellent! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great food, great people, great atmosphere. Been all over but the Grand is the best. We just keep coming back. Lely at the pool bar is awesome. Very attentive staff. Love it!

The resort was beautiful and clean. The wait staff was incredible. The food at the steak house was amazing but can’t say that for the other 2 restaurants. The breakfast, lunch & dinner buffet were good. Our room was having trouble with the A/C and we were very uncomfortable. I asked for some fans and they said that they could only get me one. After about 3 days we were finally able to get the room to a bearable point when housekeeping came in to clean and turned it way up again. The hotel couldn’t fix it, so at that point we gave up and had to deal with it. I don’t think as a 5 star resort it was handled correctly. Very disappointed.

Amazing service, all the food was very good and fresh. Beautiful decor & fun entertainment. Coffee and desserts were excellent. Very clean rooms, bathrooms, pool area and beach! No rocks or seaweed… Views are beautiful! Really felt special & safe from the second we got on the resort! Thanks to the whole staff for making our vacation a wonderful experience! Definitely will be back!

Wow! What an incredible destination wedding venue! We attended as guests and had an amazing time! The food was great, the drinks even better! The staff was gracious, and went out of their way to attend to our every need! Thank you, Darlin and Alberto, our Butlers, Hot Coffee (his code name) for making us laugh every day, and the behind the scene staff that we didn’t see, but contributed to a 5 star experience. Aricela was amazing as a server and a great hostess. She always highlight excellent bars and restaurants and was exceptionally helpful with all our dining needs. A wonderful place to stay!

We couldn’t be more pleased with this resort, we would definitely recommend and visit again! Everyone was friendly and extremely attentive. Our butler Edward was phenomenal catering to our every needs and making everything special. Armando and Yanna kept things fun and entertaining with activities and electric personalities. And a shout out to Willie for being our tour guide/resort shuttle. We can’t wait to visit again.

Such an amazing location but the staff has made our stay. Our butler Kelvin attends to everything and everyone is welcoming. We will definitely return… sooner rather than later.

Rooms, beaches, food, pools, this was the complete package. What an opportunity to visit a place at a fraction of the capacity. No waits in any lines or to find a pool or beach chair. Truly an amazing experience. Golf course was top notch as well. Bring some bug spray for evenings, but otherwise a great experience at a well run resort. Thanks to our butlers Danilo, Staring and Dewal for your attention to all the details.

Third trip here, and the absolutely best place I've ever been on vacation. We had Alberto and Leo as our butlers, Ery was still here slinging drinks. Not as many people due to covid, but the service was above and beyond, as always. My absolute favorite place to vacation!
Ruth, Power, and Jocardi-B were great keeping people entertained as well!
If you have covid concerns, don't. They are above and beyond the protocols in the US. Plus the country has an incredibly low transmission rate to begin.

My husband and I enjoyed 7 wonderful nights in March. This was our second trip. Special thanks to Manuel who made our daily beach time so enjoyable. Everyone works hard at this resort, but Manual goes above and beyond every day. We will be back.

We’ve been to Bavaro 3 times and this is, by far, the best resort. It’s a perfect size, the staff is friendly and the rooms are lovely.

This place is top notch. Honestly the BEST resort I have ever been to hands down. The staff is amazing and super friendly to where they make you feel like family. Everyone is in great spirits and make sure you are having fun. The food is beyond great. The drinks are perfect and the entertainment is very pleasurable. The entertainment staff makes sure to get everyone involved and have so much fun! My husband and I went on our honeymoon here and we have already agreed we will be back every year.

What An amazing property and team! A wonderful staff catering to us having nothing but the best time. The property is gorgeous. We loved walking this beach every day, the afternoons at the pool and 4pm bingo. And the food — perfect.

The Grand is amazing the the suites I would never go back to, but the service was good at both but they did upgrade us to the Grand and food was hands down way better in the restaurants and buffet. So if you plan on going I wouldnt even look at anything but the Grand if you dont have kids because it is adults only.

My wife and I attended with a friend and his wife for his 50th birthday and it was amazing. The fact that they staff makes you not want for anything and are extremely nice. This all inclusive, adult only resort makes sure that you have a good time with all the food you desire and bars everywhere, with attendants that even come down to the beach to check on you and bring whatever you desire. I was so amazed with this place that I would 100% return for another visit.

I had a truly exceptional experience at this resort. The staff were all superb — friendly, warm, attentive, and accommodating. Extra special shout out to our amazing butler Verenise, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. She’s truly a gem and we plan on requesting her when we return next year! The other standout employee was Martha the poolside server. I must’ve seen Martha serve my friends and I over a hundred drinks throughout my trip — …each one was served quickly, with a smile or sometimes a song, and I didn’t see her make a single mistake (despite taking up to a dozen orders at a time! ) Other staff members who were outrageously helpful and deserve recognition:
Abdul, who helped us navigate a tricky situation when a third party rescheduled our excursion.
Raysa, who attentively served us in the buffet restaurants with a warm welcome each time!
Ciara, the hostess who made us feel so special each time we saw her.
Brian (Gasolina! ) the Star Friend, who kept us laughing throughout the week

Fabulous activities. Don't miss anything suggested by Brian Gasolina or Miguel. You can get a great meal at any buffet as well as the specialty restaurants. We had an amazing room for our anniversary with lots of personal touches by our butler, Rafael, and a view to die for. And if you get tired of activities, Lely will make sure you have a full glass at all times!

I cannot speak highly enough about this resort! The grounds were immaculate, the staff was amazing, we met so many wonderful guests and quite possibly made new vacation friends. Ery at the pool bar and throughout the resort was an awesome bartender that not only kept the party going but usually got it started as well! Bruno was another super friendly bartender that was always up for a good conversation. The entertainment staff was great as well. One downside were the nightly shows, not that the shows weren't good, it's just most of the resorts we have gone to the shows were at an outdoor theater, this theater is indoors and they allowed smoking inside, after the first night though they did confine the smoking to the upper floor and you couldn't smell it down below. Selection of food and alcoholic beverages was very good as well. All and all we made an excellent choice by staying at this resort.

Great resort! Rooms were comfortable and sparkling clean. Our butler, Stalling, took awesome care for us with any amenities, best places to eat, room romance, and just friendly banter where we felt relaxed at home. Cigar bar was one of our favorite hangout spots. The day time pool activities and swim up bar kept the day fun. Our 1st Iberostar experience and it did not disappoint.

Iberostar Grand Bavaro is a beautiful destination where you will also find the most amazing people. We have been so impressed by our butlers, pool staff, and the entertainment team. A special recognition to Adrian. He has been the most amazing host and has kept us so entertained. He’s definitely an asset to this resort.

Our honeymoon could not have be spent at a better place. My husband and I found it so relaxing and fun. The food was great and there was always something to do. We could relax by the pool all day or stay busy with activities. Whatever we wanted. The entertainment team was amazing. We loved spending our afternoon with the games and amazing staff. Adrien and Juan David were both so helpful and fun. They both made our stay extra enjoyable.

We have had a lot of fun at the Grand Bavaro with Jenesis in entertainment. We have played darts, archery and ping pong. We even won once and got a coffee mug to bring home to remember our amazing experience. We love it here and are dreading when we have to go home. It has been so much fun!

Excellent animation (entertainment), in particular of Jenesis and Lisette, you are very kind!, the warmth of the people is tremendous… the food delicious; the attention in reception and the restaurants is of excellent quality. I recommend 100%. In addition, I want to thank our butler Lamb, he is very friendly, attentive, very concerned about us, always be aware of what we need, is a very good person, always made us feel comfortable and at home… we were very lucky to have him as a butler!

I have spent very well thanks to the entertainment team in the hotel, especially thanks to Jenesis. In terms of the attention to the passengers is amazing. I note and thank the work of our steward Lamb, has made us feel at home, worked hard to make our 10th anniversary to be unforgettable.

You'Re in paradise. The hotel with excellent facilities and best of all are the people who are always willing to help and meet the needs with a friendly smile. The Entertainment team is incredible, they are always outstanding with a friendly smile (Jenesis, Lissette and Johana among so many) … And in the pool we attended Alexis with a lot of affection.

I loved everything about my five-day stay at this resort with my husband and brother. The entire staff was friendly and courteous at all times and the food was delicious. I would like to especially shout out Osiris, Alejandro, and Leo. These three young men made my vacation GREAT. I definitely recommended this resort if you are looking for relaxation and superb service throughout your stay.

Very thankful for the same attention received from the cleaning staff (Marly) and Stalin and Just (butlers), and very happy with the food in the restaurants and my favorite French although the others are also very good. It Really is the third IberoStar I know and would go back to the same chain. Although every night there was a noise Q was heard in the room but on the night of yesterday there was much more than not until 4.03 am and recently I could reconcile my dream.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Definitely our favorite resort thus far. Our butler, Rafael was amazing. To the bartender in the cigar lounge, Keilyn mad the best drinks, Juan in the buffet always greeted us and went out of his way to accommodate us… So many others I want to mention but I don't remember their names… Buffet is good, beach is lovely, drinks are nice, resort is excellent. Definitely bringing the rest of my family next year.

Great food, abundance of seafood even in the buffet, quietly, on the territory of the Flamingo. The service is very good.
Great gym, lots of simulators, give towels, great selection of tea.
Good SPA.
There is a small casino.
It is possible to go to the territory of neighboring hotels of this chain.

This was by far the best all inclusive hotel I've even been to. The food was great and the service was personalized and sustained throughout my stay. The mayor d'homme Stalin was very nice and always checking up to see if anything was missing or could be done for my stay to be relaxing. The quality and cleanliness of the resort is 'next level'. Fantastic beach with great pools.

Rooms: We have already requested a room on the highest floor before the trip, which has been noticeable over the whole holiday. (Very quiet location)
Room 7332 was on the last floor and we had quick access to the pool and beach.
Butler service: For the first time we took advantage of a butler service, which was included in the service.
We never thought we would use such a courteous service.
However, we were convinced by our Buttler.
A big thank you to Mr. Stalling and Mr. Dawel.
Both have done an incredibly excellent job.
It is possible to make a reservation from the restaurant to any other request (champagne in the room, romantic bath, etc. ).
Room Cleaning: It was clean and it was cleaned 3x a day, however, compared to the last resort in Mexico, which was cleaned less a day but was much more thorough. Unfortunately, there is no full score here.
Food: We have never been to an all inclusive resort all over the world so we ate well here.
The quality of the products and preparation corresponds to a star restaurant in Europe.
Buffet Restaurant: A wide choice open in the morning for breakfast/lunch or dinner.
There were lobsters and steaks every day for lunch and dinner, if you had any desire for it.
A la carte restaurants: the French restaurant, the Jap, convinced us. Restaurant and the Surf & Turf Restaurant. Here we have next to the buffet rest. Eaten several times.

Beautiful resort. Luis was a wonderful Butler who catered to our every need including those we didn't know we needed. Carlos was a great waiter and very attentive to us and all the other guests. Resort and rooms are spectacular and after traveling to all inclusive resorts for 11 years this has been our favorite vacation.

Everything about this hotel was excellent from the food to the service. The hotel grounds were beautiful and clean. It was the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the beach or the pool. There were plenty of activities around the resort, you also had access to the other iberostar resorts if you wanted to try something new. Our butler Hernandez was excellent, he was always available and happy to help out any way he could. The entire staff was very friendly and would always greet you when you walked by. I highly recommend this resort and would love to come back some day.

Every corner of the hotel is a real treat. An environment where there is no lack of detail. Everything is absolutely the best quality. Highly recommended for the most demanding.

Very good. Adults only. Take it easy. Good restaurants a la carte.

Clean and professional. Always felt safe. Staff was very helpful and never seemed to be doing anything for a tip. The rooms are small and do not offer much. The buffets are good and offer many options. The restaurants are overall good, but some are not worth it. Hibachi and Mediterranean were let downs; the surf and turf was the best. Lots of covered and uncovered seating by the pool and beach. Easy access the bar and food at all times. The golf course was really nice and pretty open. Only downfall is not much to do after dinner. They need a trendy bar or something besides the lobby bar and nightly show.

Beautiful, but very far away, all these paradise species are quickly eaten, while the very poor country prices for all services outside the hotel are inflated at least 5 times.

This was my favorite all inclusive ever! The entertainment staff was super sweet, especially "Sunshine. " Thank you to our very sweet butlers Staling and Justo. Our waiters at breakfast helped us out every morning, thank you Ortiz and Carl. I couldn't have felt more pampered. The buffet was delicious, and the grounds were gorgeous. It was a perfect trip and I would LOVE to return!

The staff and Star Friends are amazing, Yocairi and Starling are trying to teach me Spanish — which is not an easy job. Thank you for your patience! The service is impeccable. The shows are fantastic and worth staying up. The only bad I can say is that it is hard to stay only a week, and that is why you need to book at least two weeks so you can enjoy the experience of staying at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaria even more. When you come once, you will come back again. Room 7110.

I did quite a bit of research before booking a winter get-away for my wife and me, and I had pretty high expectations of the Iberostar Grand Bavaro. Well, we certainly were not disappointed! You can probably stop researching and just book this resort now. This place is awesome! The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, the food is great, and the beach area is fantastic. What really makes this place special is the staff. They are phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, everybody, and I mean everybody, gave us world-class service. It didn't matter how small the task was, all of the workers were extremely diligent. Our butlers Sylvestre and Staling took care of scheduling dinners and golf tee times, getting us acclimated with the hotel, making sure we had everything we needed etc. I really can't say enough good things about both of those guys. They were great and made our stay extremely easy. The entertainment was decent overall. However, what stood out was the violin player who played Vitamin String Quartet-style covers (but legitimately better! ) on the boat one night. It was awesome! He truly is a talented musician, and I wished he played more than one night!

One of the best places I have stayed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds crew and housekeeping does a great job of making the property look perfect. Spent 90% of the time at the hotel's beach which had plenty of space and people were not jammed together like some of the other beaches nearby. Tobias was excellent getting us whatever we needed on the beach.

Without hesitation the best of all. Third time we are in this hotel and sixth in the Dominican Republic. Very careful and very quiet. The food was excellent and the staff were very nice. Too bad we can only be a week. We're always short. This was our first trip to the Dominican Republic and our first to an Iberostar resort. The resort in Punta Cana is amazing! It is grandiose and well appointed. The grounds are immaculate and the restaurants and spa are wonderful. While we don’t typically book all inclusive resorts, all Iberostar resorts are all inclusive. Additionally, we had a awesome butler, Staling, who attended to our every need! We also had exceptional service from Julio and the ladies in the spa. The Dominican Republic is a great place to vacation and I would highly recommend the Iberostar Grand Bavaria!

I stayed there for about 2 weeks in mid-December 2017 for a relaxing holiday.
Positive: * The staff was extremely friendly (from waiter to gardener). In particular, our butler Dawel He was always reliable, funny and charming * The rooms were modern and cleaned twice a day * The view by the pool is beautiful and reminds of these paradisiacal postcard motifs * when you D This hotel bay you can also take advantage of all the activities, restaurants and amenities of the Iberostar Punta Cana and Dominicana (the other way around doesn't work) * The food was varied, delicious and at breakfast were a fresh crêpes Made, and so on… — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – — — — * It happened that the food in the indoor restaurant (buffet) was cold.
If you have been informed, you have prepared a fresh steak and served a final I can give a 99, 5% recommendation for this hotel in December.

This place is beautiful & decently clean to the point that I don't mind taking a bath there. Food is mostly good; however, making dinner reservations to their restaurants there is a chore. Butler can't tell u whether u have a reservation or not at the time that u request. When the time is not allot, butler doesn't tell u that. We had waited the first night for an hr. To 1.5 hrs. Before we were guided to our restaurant. When u get there, their restaurant is less than half filled. Buffet is not the greatest, but lunch is good. However, it's outdoor & there are bugs surrounds the food. Their night shows are decent & they have a pirate ship where u can dance & hang out by the bar in the galley. We didn't do any excursions this time, but their beach is very nice (white fine sands), & there are plenty of beach side stores that u can get souvenirs for yourself, friends & family.

My boyfriend and I spent a week here (last week). We had a great time. The resort is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are the shining stars of the place. Our butler, Rafael was absolutely awesome! The bartenders and every single person we encountered were attentive and helpful. I did not give 5 stars because of the food. For me, it was less than palatable. My boyfriend was fine with it.

I was there for five days and had a wonderful time. The Service here is the absolute best. They serviced my room twice a day and even replaced the liquid I would drink on a daily. The best post of my stay was my butler Rafael. Rafael took care of everything I needed, even those the small things to make me feel welcomed. This resort had something planned every night for the guest to be entertained with. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.

This Hotel has gone beyond my husband and my expectations. The Hotel is well designed with the lobby having open spaces, beautifully kept grounds which provide an environment that made us feel quite tranquil and at peace after only spending a few hours here. The staff is very friendly and available to fulfill our requests. Chef Hector culinary skills provide dishes that are flavorful and perfectly prepared. He offers wide selection of fresh foods ranging from Lobster to succulent meats. The deserts are very imaginative. He prepared a special dish in honer of my husband' Birthday. I give this Hotel and chef Hector excellent marks for a terrific Hotel to getaway from the stresses of everyday life. Also I have toention that Cristian Zappwho works at the hotel went the extra mile to take care, he made as feel home and was supervising that everything was perfect for as also thank you to our butler Hernandez very friendly genuine helpful and excellent service.

This is our first time to the Dominican republic and the first time staying at an Iberostar resort. For sure this has been one of the best ran resorts we have ever stayed in. We typically travel five times a year to different places. We loved every part of this resort. The staff is exceptional, the food is very delicious. And the beach was heavenly. You will not be disappointed. 10 stars in my book. I want to add to this review. We moved from this hotel to the Hard Rock Hotel. Big mistake. After receiving exceptional service at Iberostar, there’s no other place to stay that better. Top in my book.

This resort deserves every last 5 star rating and more. The resort and beach are beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff truly become family. My husband and I have been twice now. The first time was for our honeymoon and we loved it so much that we convinced our family to go back. Sexy Romeo, Skinny Jefry, Jose, and Rafael are amazing butlers. DeeDee and Miguel are the best activity directors and encourage the guests to take part in games. Arie is one of our favorite bartenders. The food is absolutely delicious. The golf course is beautiful. When they say all inclusive, they truly mean it. Drinks are handed to you the second you arrive along with a cool towel. Room service whenever you want it. The butlers surprise you with bubble baths decorated in rose petals and champagne. We cannot say enough good things about this resort. We will never stay anywhere else in the Dominican Republic and we cannot wait to go back many times in the years to come.

I was the for five days and had a wonderful time. The Service here is the absolute best. They serviced my room twice a day and when replaced the liquid I would drink on a daily. The best post of my stay was my butler Rafael. Rafael took care of everything I needed, even those the small things to make me feel welcomed. This resort had something planned every night for the guest to be entertained with. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.

This hotel is excellent! The best service I've ever had, staff is incredibly friendly and always trying to help out… Our Butler "Sexy Romeo" was THE BEST hand downs, being there for us at ANYTIME stocking our room, setting dinner reservations or simply engaging in conversations! Also, food was very good, several choices to select from, so if your picky there are plenty of options… definitely coming back!

Stayed here for 7 days. Nearly renovated, upscale, all inclusive hotel. Service is exceptional. 4 themed restaurants on the site plus buffet. Pool, spa, fitness center and a real ship in the middle of the hotel. Would recommend for any of my friends!

I have truly enjoyed my experience here at the Grand Hote Bavaro! The food is excellent, h and drinks are wonderful and the grounds are super clean. Silvester, our butler, is absolutely amazing and handles everything quickly! He checks on us all the time and makes sure we have everything we need to enjoy our vacation!

My fist time, but it was the BEST Only for adults. And you can have fun all the time. 24 hours open bar/all inclusive/night time casino/ nightclub/ AWESOME TIME. Please visit this nature paradise… love it. Our butler was awesome. And don't forget the ladies that maintain the rooms everyday. They are unique. I adore their decorations.

Excellent place, either for the Dominican charism that for the attention provided by all the hotel staff. Unsurpassed service. Highly recommended to spend a reñajadas holiday.

Great facility, Super delicious food.

The resort was nice but be careful when you leave your belongings in your room. My sister and I had money stolen from us… a total of $200. Be mindful that security has a key to those safe. Apparently, the house keeper said our safe was "left open" so security had to come close it! Long story short we reported it and the Head of security, Juan, laughed the entire time while the assistant flashlight security officer named, Gendry, laughed and had to leave the room. Oh and the language barrier is another issue. They did NOTHING! They said they took a picture of the safe but NO ONE could produce that photo. I asked to speak to the manager she NEVER showed until literally 3 mins before my sister and I were leaving the resort to catch our flight. She said they had no proof and she apologized. I said yeah sure u wait until we are leaving to rush and speak to us! Really?! Then she said she would give us vouchers via email to come back… I was like why NOT come to speak to us with the damn vouchers lady if you were serious. Bottom line hide your damn money! The staff is over worked and may be desperate!

Excellent resort, very friendly staff and great culinary variety. Excellent fun activities. The beach very neat with drinks all the time and the pools equally.

My husband and I just had a wonderful week long stay at this resort! The resort is beautiful and even though we went in the middle of June, there weren't that many people there. The pool water is just heavenly and there are plenty of private cabanas to choose from. You may ask for as many towels as you like. The workers only speak Spanish so be prepared for that. The 4 years of Spanish I had in Jr. High and High School got me through it. The beach is nice as well, but the water was not as crystal clear as I was hoping. The restaurants are all very good in my opinion but make sure you call a few weeks ahead and make reservations for each restaurant for each night you will be there. The only restaurants you don't need reservations for are at the buffets. Hope this review helps you.

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The food was really good at all times. Most all the staff was very friendly and went the extra mile. Our butler "Boom-Boom" was amazing and handled everything from complaints to requests quickly and professionally. The beach was nothing short of the best on the strip.

Beautiful very wide place where there are several hotels inside the property. You have to know well what hotel you are in and if you are not staying or no booking anyone enters, it is recommended to anticipate for possible inconvenience. This is why it was so important that it valued this way.

My wife and I stayed at this resort for our honeymoon and it surpasses our expectations. As soon as we arrived everyone was so friendly and helped us out immediately. The entertainment staff was amazing. The food was beyond good! Simon our butler was very helpful and always very happy to greet us. Simon set our room up for a romantic night that me and my wife enjoyed! Overall great resort! We will come back to visit again!

A beautiful luxury hotel. Very refined. It has a spectacular beach and a pool which although not very big if it is beautiful. Excellent restaurants very well decorated according to their theme. Very chic rooms though they are not very large. Hotel only for adults with stewardship service.

This was my first time out of the country. Everything was perfect. The food was amazing. The customer service was great. The hotel is beautiful.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Iberostar Grand Hotel in Bavaro. We were blown away with the kindness and generosity from all of the staff. The ocean and beach were beautiful, the reservation dinners were absolutely delicious with high quality food, and the day and night activities were entertaining. Thank you for the unforgettable memories we shared!

I stayed a week and it was amazing! The only negative is the pushy sales staff for the timeshares/vacation clubs. Their "seminars' are two hours long and require credit card/passport. It is a scam. Avoid them.

The resort was breathtaking. The service was amazing. Definitely a luxury getaway. The reserved dinners were ok but the buffet was excellent. If this is a place you want to go and relax at the pool or the beach and be pampered this is it. Not a whole lot for entertainment for the young crowd. The Michael Jackson show was to die for! What a beautiful place and such amazing people.

What an amazing place, the beaches here are out of a picture. We enjoyed our stay here, it's adults only which is great for people without kids. Food was good 7 out of 10, room was great 8 out 10, service was great 8 out of 10. We will definitely be back.
