Great hotel have been there once in December 2015 for 7 days great service and great rooms one of the the best hotels in the world.

Amazing place, but they ought to treat their staff better… it is almost embarrassing for them as an establishment.

This is the worst service I got in a luxury hotel in all my life and I just got 50… the toilet are broken, the fridge is broken, the Jacuzzi doesn't work, there is only 5min of hot water and after… only cold. I complained but nothing was done. And the worst: I checked out and later on on the day they called me to say they just found an unpaid bill of 150$? I left, how can I check? Just don't go there! 1300$ a night with broken toilet… this is a luxury place managed like a motel.

Great place to relax, eat a good pasta, drink quiet a cold beer. The place is very well kept and maintained. A great place to enjoy a dream weekend.

After spending 4 nights in the paradise of Eden Rock at Cap Cana, we cannot wait to return! The hotel is exclusive and perfect for a romantic or family get away. Friendliest and well trained staff we have ever met in a Dominican Republic hotel. The beach and main pool are lovely. Our luxury villa with a private pool was beautifully maintained and the bathroom and outdoor shower amazing. Great food in a variety of restaurants. We loved our stay there and would highly recommend Eden Roc for other couples and families. Thank you Eden Roc at Cap Cana for this special experience! Best wishes from Russia!

A unique experience of work and fun.

Location For those who need rampant fun this hotel is not suitable. Here the rest is respectable and calm. On the beach there is no watersports activity just because it is not everyone likes and can interfere with other guests. Saw a couple of reviews above, but, guys, you read in advance where you eat. To each his own.
Accommodation is for every taste-both private villas and suites in small buildings overlooking the ocean. The Food and service, the spa, the Kids Club is just gorgeous.

There is no words to describe how bad this place is, the only good thing? The beach and the views. The staff is so bad and lacking of training that they can follow simple instructions so this hotel doesn't have the service necessary to be able to be called a "Luxury" resort. Is just simple BAD.

Excellent property and truly fantastic service. Highly recommend. We prefer Raffles — Fairmont properties, depending on a destination, but Eden Roc Cap Cana is outstanding, even comparing with the best. Highly recommend.

Really impressed with the hotel. Had a rest in December in the separate house-that at once loved, because behind a wall nobody is. Its swimming pool, golf car is parked and at your disposal 24 hours. The villas themselves are above all praise. Everything is fresh, clean, well what to say-level is level. A separate praise is the hotel's kitchen. All the restaurants are just at the height, especially liked the restaurant on the beach-in addition to excellent food also amazing views. Loved the local SPA-good specialists and nice cosmetics. The beach, in our opinion, is the best in the region (had friends in Punta Cana, do not compare). Not that separate and not clogged by the people, very clean. I liked the ability to "explore" cap Kanu. Interesting Natural Park-there is something to do. Beautiful golf course, unfortunately, we do not play, but very much wanted) ). Of course this is quite a different level than the rest of the hotels in the region and if the budget allows you, feel free to book Eden Rock, will not regret.

Very disappointing. We too spent a fortune. Our room had beautiful views but had severely water damaged floors and a foul odor. There was so little to do — we were literally bored. There are no kayaks, no catamarans, no snorkeling gear at the beach. There are 5 boogie boards that are monopolized all day. That is all! If you are an active person this is not the place for you. We rented a private boat for snorkeling for $700. They literally took us off shore and threw bread in the water so we could see fish. The captain slept for a while then took us back to the marina. It’s a pretty island but that’s all it is. We golfed one day. The course is spectacular but has a $300+ greens fee per person plus cart rental fees etc. Expect a $500 pp day on the course. Last year we did Banyan Tree Mayakoba — that place was special. Eden Roc — not special at all.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever been. Terrible super expensive food. Rude employees. Nobody cares if you have or not a good time, they just take advantage. Travelers check you bills before you leave the hotel, they will overcharge you for things you didn't buy.

I've been traveling for years and I had never have the bad experiences I had at this hotel, I don't even usually write reviews from places but I feel that people needs to know the reality about this hotel and hopefully don't experience nothing like I did. The people at this place is very rude, they don't even try to give you a premium service, they just don't care. After leaving, I asked someone why this hotel has so many issues? He answered me "because in the DR if you get fire you get pay a compensation for every year you work, so employees give a bad service so they can get fired and get that money"… Awful, so they give you a bad service because they just don't care. So fellow travelers, beware about this bad experiences that many guests are reporting about this, me personally I would never come here again, ever.

Disappointed, so disappointed, I waited for this vacations for 6 months, I spent so much money on it, I had expectations of having a great time and it was just a nightmare. Since the moment I placed a foot in this hotel until I left, it was just a freaking nightmare. The butlers, the managers, the workers, everyone here seems not wanting to work and swear I feel they just insult you in your back just because they can't do it in front of you, but they do it but giving you a terrible service. Just the worst vacations I've ever had. I would never come back to this place again and for sure I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I noticed something wrong as soon as we checked at this hotel, even that they say that we would have a VIP treatment it was almost impossible to find our butlers and it was worst to get them to do something simple we would ask, like come and clean our room… Never had this kind of experience with this kind a hotel. They are far from being a first class premium hotel.

Terrible place, I've been in others Relais & Chateaux before but nothing compares to the horrible experience I had at this hotel. I should have read the reviews from people complaining. It is so sad that they don't listen to opinions and that they are so disrespectful when you have a complaint. Travelers should be aware that this hotel is terrible and avoid visiting it.

Best hotel in Punta Cana (stayed at 3). Staff was great. Food at La Cava was incredible. Beach — stunning. One of the best properties I've stayed at in my life.

An amazing beautiful slice of paradise! We had an absolutely fabulous week! Our villa/suite was impeccable, quiet and we loved the privacy of our pool! The entire staff from the hotel to all the restaurants were excellent & attentive without being overbearing. In particular, Liza and Abby who assisted us often were so helpful, kind & always professional… "Anything is possible at Eden roc"! Golf was outstanding, food AMAZING, and the ocean views… gorgeous! We are looking forward to returning again!

Extreme luxury up to European standards. High end service. Lovely, friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Perfect finishings. Great wine, food and sea views. What more can one ask for?
