The hotel is nice, the sea is clean, the food is delicious! Thank you to the employee of zhanne, always help and prompt in any situations)

Resort grounds are superb. Staff is very friendly and happy. Pool area is great (need to get up early if you want good chair selection… same for beach). Food at buffet is good… dinner buffet had better variety and selection over other times. La Cana, the steak restaurant, was very good. It was difficult finding availability for reservation times at most restaurants (and got to guest services at the recommended time upon check in). Nightly entertainment was ok, but was loud and difficult to understand… did have good pool and other activities during the day. The staff did a good job on letting guests know what was happening, and when. The beach, however… very disappointed! Lots of seaweed! This is, of course, no control of the resort (and they did have workers cleaning the beach everyday), but the beach was always dirty. However, after back to back summer trips to this area (different resorts), and the beach still dirty and the water not pristine blue color, Punta Cana will not be on a return list for our family.

I have been here for less than 24 hours and the cleaning maids have already stolen money out of our room. We reported what happened to guest services and they said there is nothing they can do about staff stealing our property. Really? None of our personal belongings are safe. This should not be considered a 5 star resort. I do not feel comfortable here. There is nothing positive I can say about this place. There are much better locations to visit in the world. I highly recommend people to find a different resort or country to visit.

An extraordinary place. Very nice rooms. Very good food and varied. All very neat and neat. Highly recommended. There are always things to improve (so to not stay) the best is the staff, Always attentive very helpful.

The staff is wonderful. The buffet food is okay but definitely gets old fast. Would highly recommend the Japanese restaurant. Make sure to make reservations for dinner the first day you arrive or you will be stuck with buffet dinner every night because the reservations fill so quickly. Biggest complaint would be the amount of seaweed on the beach and in the water, but not much can be done about that.

Room service excellent steak house and seafood excellent all excursions wonderful the fourth day needed information at guests service, 2pm regarding information on flight for Friday back home. There was a young man did not get his name and young lady was very rude did not want to leave desk but I was told where to get information. Of course the info was not there came back to the same young man and women told them information wasn't there. There response I will have to wait until Friday because Iberostar doesn't have anything to do with Island Sun services did not bother to call them this One incident is why we will not be returning by the way we are a pretty large Group but everything else here I will give 5 stars and these are some very special workers I encounter.

I’m going to attempt to be as diplomatic as possible in this review but I would be remiss if I didn’t tell the truth about this experience. The language barrier is really really an issue here as English is not a second language on this resort for most of the staff. The attitudes of the employees have been awful. The temp in our rooms have been set at it seems 75 degrees and we have been miserable every night. You have to call and ask for hand towels almost every day. The resort is all inclusive but all 6 ala carte restaurants were booked for every single day. We got one reservation to the seafood restaurant after making a big fuss and once we were in there, there may have been 25 occupants in the entire restaurant. We never found much we could eat or identify on the buffet. No one was accommodating to our needs nor sympathetic! We went by the many restaurants and let me just say that they mostly weren’t occupied at all. Around 10 or so the resort seems to shut down. Most all shows are in Spanish. We didn’t find the resort to be too kid friendly as our children were mostly bored. Traveling to other countries, the hospitality has been way better. Here, it seems the Spanish speaking guests are a number one priority. Oh and I am writing this review from my 75 degree room.

Beware! this place is the worst we have evet visited. After no having our room ready when we arrived the 1st day our room was robbed by way of key card not broken into by way of key card a we got robbed of $3150 in cash in less than 3 hours of getting into our rooms. The hotel employees refused to get the police for us they said we had to wait 48 hours for them to get an investigation on their end together which means get their paper work in line so that authorities could not find any proof in their system. After getting them to finally take us to the POLICE STATION the police turned out to be apart of the circus. The police refused to give us a copy of the report after saying we would get a copy after signing the report. The night before we were scheduled to leave the lady in charge of the resort finally makes contact with us after my wife visited the front desk many times after day 3. She tells us the transaction key log to our room only showed us leaving the room. So I asked to see the report and she refused to let us see it or have a copy. Wife and I booked 3 rooms for our eight family members 4 adults 5 adults and 3 kids. The kids including my 7 year old were paranoid ever time we had to go back to the rooms we felt like there was cameras watching us in the room because of the way we got robbed. The saddest part wast this all happened the 1st day and when we went to the front desk we were blown off and laughed at by the employees at the front desk.

I can not wait to go back! Service was amazing, the cleanest place I have ever been comparing to my other out of the country trips, and just incredible stay! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My heart will always be in Punta Cana, thanks to everyone having an amazing vibe towards the guests and the place being a beautiful country as beautiful as it's people.

Our experience was very good, it is worth mentioning the entertainment staff who are working day and night and always with good vibes and energy! The food and drink very good. At the time of eating was impossible to get seats high for infants, and that the living room didn't look more than 5, not that I was collapsed. Some of the employees note that working many hours, which makes them desganados and tired. It is not an issue of them because logically they need to work, it is the fault of the employer that makes them work so many hours.

We recently spent a week at this resort and the grounds were beautiful, along with the pool. There was a slight language barrier but we were able to figure that out early in our trip. Housekeeping took great care of our room. Rooms were clean and spacious. The concierge, Gregory, was amazing and helped us from the moment we stepped onto the resort until the time we left. The Wi-Fi is free but spotty in the rooms. Much better reception in the main areas. I struggle with how this is a 4.5-5 star resort. I would not stay here again for a few reasons. — the rooms are outdated. There were areas of mold in the room and in the bathroom. The room smelled musty and was always damp. The furniture was old, tile was cracking in the bathroom, the room key reader was rusting and falling apart. The mini fridge barely kept our beverages cold. — the food wasn't all that great. Between the restaurants and the buffets, the food was bland or not well prepared. I rarely finished a meal because I didn't like it. If you aren't able to get a dinner reservation at a restaurant, your only choice is to go to the buffet. The restaurants also have part of your meal at a buffet style set up. I'm not sure that the food was kept to temperature safely. Oddly enough, My husband and I managed to come home with some sort of digestive issues accompanied with cramping, diarrhea and fever. I'm still not sure what I even ate. — The staff was inconsistent.

Very Nice hotel. Only by small details I don't give you the maximum. It'S very massive. Juices are not natural. And The beds need a renovation.

Lovely holiday. Staff is so friendly and fantastic and very funny. I loved entertainment and restaurant and bar staff and our roommate was really lovely and sweet. Food was brilliant and drinks just kept coming.

Unfortunately, the hotel is no longer what it used to be. Was sure my last stay here. Unfortunately, the beach is partly not as well maintained except you pay extra for the separate club balance.

This hotel we were in the Sept. 2016, pleasant atmosphere. Tip: There is a good Wi-Fi connection at the beach bar. Something annoying with the Wi-Fi login, otherwise ok.

Great dining, and great pools and beach area. You can only change the fan speed not the temperature in your rooms and make sure you have toilet tissue.

The staff is very friendly, unfortunately mostly Spanish speaking. The food is plentiful in the buffets. With tips you can reach more friendliness. The rooms are well maintained. The entire facility is well maintained and is kept in good condition every day. The gym is quite new and modern. The spa is overpriced and the sauna in it is unfortunately very noisy due to the whirlpool facility. The beach is very well maintained and clean. Only in the kiosk at the reception the prices are signposted, otherwise you should be very careful everywhere else, otherwise you pay the 4x of the price. Believe that prices should be regulated within the system. Daily changing animation on stage near bar.

Very friendly staff, clean facility, large partly already somewhat older room, good food (INSB. In the restaurants, but also the buffet is I. O. ).

Unfortunately, the hotel is no longer what it used to be. Sure was my last stay here. Unfortunately the beach is partly not so well maintained except one pays separately for the separate Clubabsnitt.

It's nice but some plumbing work would have to be done.

The beach and pool were very nice. The rooms could stand to be updated. The staff was so-so. They were very nice in the dining rooms but a large majority were apathetic. I slipped in a public bathroom where they had mopped the floor but did not put up a wet floor sign. I hurt my knee pretty bad. When I reported it they were unconcerned and didn't so much as offer me an ice pack. It was only after a manager got involved that I got ice and they followed up to see if I was okay. The food wasn't that great either. I have stayed in other Iberostar resorts that I would give 4-5 stars. This one was very disappointing.

Excellent hotel! The staff treated us like kings and very helpful all from the cooks, cleaners, receptionists, entertainers, etc.
They have many activities for all ages and at different times of the day! The food was very complete and the thematic restaurants very well set!

Great hotel with plenty of options hotel with spacious garden area, direct beach. Several theme restaurants (inclusive). The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good.
Location & Surroundings 5, 0 The trip to the hotel took about 30 minutes. The hotel is located in an Iberostar facility with two other houses. Spacious parking area with a golf course.
Room 4, 0 rooms were slightly used but clean. Mini bar is filled every day and is inclusive.
A bit of a tip for the maid will make the room a little bit more comfortable.
The air conditioner did not regulate so there were only two setting "frost" or "Sauna".
We have used a combination of air conditioning and ceiling fan.
Tea and coffee available in the room (incl. Equipment).
Take care if your safe is in order. We took our things out of the safe one day before departure, because that was too awkward for us. We heard from other guests that they had the same problem.
Service 6, 0 staff was constantly in a good mood.
Gastronomy 5, 0 There are two large buffet restaurants and several theme restaurants (fish, steak, American dinner, Taco, gourmet). For the theme restaurants you have to make a reservation, this should be done early enough as many holidaymakers visit the theme restaurants.
Food was fresh and adequately served.
Cocktails were good.
Sports & Entertainment 5, 0 there was a lot to do.

The food at the buffet restaurants had very little variety day to day. The kids club was not as advertised and was a glorified babysitter. The room smelled of raw sewerage daily. The pool was clean and huge. The beach was nice. The specialty restaurants were decent, we went to the Asian, steak house, and the formal fancy restaurant. The portions could have been larger. The in room WI-FI was intermittent at best. I can't say enough about the staff. From the greens keepers, to the security guards, cabana waiters and waitresses, bar tenders, housekeepers, front desk people. They were all great.

Don't go to the cheap resort. Spend your money elsewhere. This place is totally pay to play. Staff will pretend not to speak English unless you tip them. Food is extremely poor outside of the restaurants (which you need reservations for and you're limited on how many you can make for some ungodly reason). The front desk is very slow to respond. Took over 40 minutes for someone to come and unlock the safe. That said, the cleaning staff does a great job. If you only want to sit on the beach and do nothing else, then this is a cheap way to do that. If you want to have some fun experiences, you'll need to shell out some cash — and at that point just spend the money on some of the better resorts.

I loved it! Very good service from the employees. The food looked good and taste good, a little more variety would be better but OK! The bartenders were very helpful. The pool and the atmosphere very relaxing and the rooms very cozy. I felt great!

The hotel is very nice, very good service. The rooms are very spacious and the service in the room is very good. The food is regular and very repetitive but very abundant at all times. The animation is very complete, if you are family is ideal for kids to be entertained all the time, but can be overwhelming why not stop for a second and are all day screaming and music to ten thousand. The pool is very good and the beach area is very comfortable with many lounge chairs. In general the service is very good, especially for the waiters who constantly serve and remove the empty glasses.

The rooms are clean, cleaning and linen change daily, huge well maintained grounds, varied tasty cuisine, the beach is better than in neighboring hotels.

Stayed at Iberostar Punta Cana for 1 Week in romantic suite. Room is well designed with good bed and enough room not to feel squeezed in. Large balcony for view and book reading. Restaurants offer good food but if you stay more than 5-7 days, you won't know what to chose as they tend to stay the same. Beach is good with good waves. Golf is good for most players. But maybe not challenging enough for the long hitters and very low handicappers, as I played all week better than at my home course in Canada. Sand traps have too many rocks and too compacted for green-side bunkers and there's no rake at all. No unlimited golf package though. Compared to Moon Palace golf and Casino in Cancun, this resort is one notch lower but better priced accordingly. Stable weather with some showers but they really don't"t last long.

Iberostar is a great resort if you want to completely disconnect from reality. All food and drinks for you to eat from a range of options at the buffets and drink to your heats content. The range of activities can entertain any age group with activities like dancing and fun games perform by the entertainers to sports like archery, soccer and beach volleyball (nothing is as fun as playing beach volleyball with a pair of tipsy germans). At night the environment is beautiful, the theater is funny and colourful, and the club and casino provide that late night fun. Overall, a great place.

Everything is fine. But the beach has not enough umbrellas. Sunbeds can be enough, and umbrellas are not present. You will have to Lie under the sun… For such a large hotel umbrellas on the beach is not enough.

Fingerprinted at airport upon arrival. Rained all 7 days. Beach chairs never available unless you get to beach by 8am. Same for the pool area. Room and food was satisfactory. Resort requires a lot of walking from room to pool/beach and to lobby and restaurants. Luggage searched at airport upon departure. Would never go back and waste my hard earned money. I’m 68 years old, and I felt like I was treated like a criminal. Good luck if you go!

Wow! That wonderful hotel the staff is a love, the food delicious, the rooms beautiful, the pools are huge and very refreshing. I really enjoyed my stay at Iberostar Punta Cana.

Great hotel, very nice hotel complex, incredibly nice people and plenty of restaurants.

Without considering that the second day we had to spend the drink of Hurricane Irma, where chaos was widespread and customers who suffer the lack of foresight by the hotel, poor communication of what happened etc. And being a repeater at this hotel unfortunately I have seen shortcomings that I did not see the previous time. The lack of keeping in the pools leaves uncovered pieces with non-existent tile, unpainted floor cracks, spotlights floated in the water and as not the towels with too much use. In relation to the room the less on the line we remembered with a note related to the toilet room by the continuous bad smell, we demanded the room maid repeatedly. Also left us unsettled the elimination of the gym and Jacuzzis on the beach, in order to create a VIP wing area that you can access before payment of the corresponding improvement, to pass them to a building next to reception, without the fantastic views of the beach and Including inside the jacuzzi that were outdoors and free to use and that are now part of the other improvements you can use prior payment of it.
The best of the hotel the people who work in it, with a proviso of the reception people a lot of kindness but nothing efficient, with the phrase I will follow up some have to be following today's claim for five days, and with the Regrettable feeling of seeing as they passed from me.

Good place to spend a nice days in the Caribbean. You just have to avoid the timeshare companies or similar, because nothing you neglected make you miss a day of stay.

Eselente Hoter is a marvel.

The hotel is very good! Just don't accept the invitation of the repeaters or membership or anything like that. They invite you to eat at the same restaurants that you can go making the reservation in the same hotel (free). The only purpose of these invitations is to buy a timeshare membership. And when you refuse, the vendors ' deal changes in a hostile way. They take you to a meeting room and never explain to you that you go and ask questions like: You carry your credit card or you are married. Legally married?
This was the only one but the hotel. Everything else was very good.

Beautiful facility! Wonderful staff. Great food. Came for my best friend's birthday and we are already talking about coming back here. The people here are so wonderful. This is my new favorite resort!

If you are buying excursions in oberostar Dominicans buy from Marino Mercedes who works for voyage. He is very honest and won't ripe you off we got the best prices from him. A lot of the other companies will charge you a lot more. He is very nice and very easy to deal with. Amazing.

Good place to visit. Good food and amenities some of the staff are excellent but will be good more training to show them better ways to treats visitors.

Especially steakhouse La Cana.

I was hesitant to give this place a 4 stars because it doesn't really deserve it. It is still a nice place with very nice staff but it has few things lacking. The good part: The grounds are well maintained and the rooms are in general I'm good condition. The food is average plus which is good (I'm comparing it to other resorts we went to in DR or Mexico). The staff is very nice a will try to accommodate you. The beach is wonderful except the seaweed but that is nature. The not so good: Need better maintenance when needed, our room has a single AC level that worked and that was the highest cold. Asked 4 times to fix it but never got fixed (the goals had 2 other levels and saw it worked other room). The food while is average plus get recycled from breakfast to lunch and sometimes dinner and for a buffet that is not good. The steak house our Mexican we're average (steak was great) but what u get with it is ehhhh. Need to have a better desert, in general it's average minus. Want to give a special Mark to the French restaurant it was excellent.

Things I liked 1) staff was amazing 2) excursion planner was more amazing and accommodating. 3) not busy at all. Things I didn't like 1) room was adequate. Fridge didn't keep things cold and patio sliding door was broken. 2) the buffets were so-so Overall a worthwhile trip.

Stayed for a week full week. Room was nice, large, and I slept comfortably. Sometimes minibar wasn't refilled until requested. The beach was pretty messy with seaweed but I could see they were doing their best to try and clean it up each day. Did not use the pool but it seemed rather large and popular with the crowd. The buffet food was ok, certainly not mouthwatering. I didn't try the restaurants that required reservation (because why? At an all inclusive? ), but I did hear the food at the French restaurant was actually good. I also got sick for a couple of days (from the food or drinks or water, I don't know), and so did my cousin whom I went with. Other highlights include a casino (which seemed mostly empty whenever I passed by, a gym that was actually pretty nice, a decent disco for the more active crowd, and friendly staff. Also you might get some beautiful sunsets. TIP: get your souvenirs at the souvenir shop by the lobby. The shops on the beach will "bargain" with you by starting out at prices up to 4 to 5 times those in the souvenir store then settle for a deal at about 2 to 3 times the price and make you feel like you got a bargain… that is until you stop by the souvenir store and find the exact same item for much less than you paid on the beach.

Great hotel with many possibilities.

It is a huge plant but beautifully designed and it does not overflow before.

This Hotel is nice, the staff is very friendly and the restaurants are varied. The pool is cool and it's big. Entertaiment is very good, all nights in the bar they made a show and a Bingo and the kids have an entertainment program too. The beach is like 800 mts from the hotel. The rooms are nice but they are a little bit old. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The only thing I didn't like is that you can smoke in whole hotel and it sucks. Este hotel Es bueno, el personal Es muy amable y Los restaurantes son variados. La piscina Es bonita y muy grande. El entretenimiento Es muy Bueno, todas las noches hacen un show y un bingo en el bar y hay entretenimiento para Los niños tambien. La playa Es a 800 metros mas o menos Del hotel. Las habitaciones son buenas y espaciosas pero un poco viejas y el baño es muy limpio. La unica cosa que no me gusto fue que cualquier persona puede fumar en todo el hotel sin restriccion y eso apesta.

It is a beautiful place despite the fact that you have a single pool and no bar in the swimming pool but it is pleasant, it is worth highlighting the attention of the employees, very good customer service, I had a suite room and it really is divine, there is a mini bar which you can take drinks on the room… great Place! Deserves mention ☺✌

We went on vacation with my husband in April 2016… we had a spectacular, the hotel, the attention and all the services excellent. Thanks to all who work there for his charisma and sympathy. Beautiful … a paradise to visit. Kisses to soon.

Is ermoso departments the beach the swimming pool the restaurant and enso drop a stately.

Not yet I was, I lack a week. Everything looks wonderful, I think that so will be. What is missing in most of the sites where it is advertised all over the hotel is the location of the smoking area. You can not ignore the great amount of the same, so I think that is a information important to have in account to not to take the unpleasant surprise that we are prohibited in most of the facilities or on the beach. Since already grateful if this can be added to the information.

Super stay, super service, many activities (beach volley, football, archery, air rifle shooting, etc. ) very beautiful clear water, small reef right on the beach, you quickly new people learn, good night activities (various bars, internetcafe, Hard Rock Cafe, night entertainment, etc. ) All in all: 1A.
