This is a post review but had to give them their due. This place is great. The staff and service was excellent and what is expected of a “all inclusive resort”. Came here back in 2017 with my sister for her birthday and we had a great time. Beaches are great, clear blue water. I wish we came back this year!

This is a great place to vacation! The Mrs. And I had a wonderful time. There is no doubt the staff is here to serve you. I definitely recommend spending the additional money so you are part of the Elegance Club. With this you have additional places you can hang out like private pool bar (CESAR is AWESOME BTW), private beach area, you can go to the Italian restaurant for breakfast when regular guests cannot, etc. The food at some of the restaurants were hit and miss, but the Japanese steakhouse was my favorite. Bring your appetite. Bottom line I would definitely come back to this place.

The hotel is nice, but in the sea the tones of algae.

The Majestic Elegance is by far the most spectacular vacation my husband and I have taken. We came for our tenth wedding anniversary and the staff, entertainment and food was amazing! The resort is clean, friendly and spacious. The swim up suite was relaxing and well maintained. The pools and beaches were fun, well groomed and never over crowded. We did a snorkel excursion and it was outstanding! The spa at the Elegance was euphoric and glamorous. We will be back and we will tell everyone we know to go here. Thank you for making this the best anniversary we could have ever had!

Superb spring, excellent service, very good food, lots of activities. Best place to eat are market place and the Italian restaurant. I would recommend the French restaurant, the food was disappointing taste and portions issue. Clean beach and swimming pools cleaned every night. Shows every night. A real paradise on Earth, ideal for a romantic holiday or to relax!

This was the second year in a row we have been to the Majestic. Last year we stayed at Colonial. We would definitely go back to Colonial the upgrades and remodeling they have done are beautiful. It's much nicer and cheaper than the Elegance. We had multiple problems in our room. And for the price definitely go back to the Colonial.

The place itself is decent at most. The greeting service is very nice and makes you feel like it will be a great stay. The rest of the service at the hotel is horrible. Left the room service tag on the door from 630 am to 1 and didn't once have someone come by when I saw a cart next door on multiple locations. Food service is none existant at majority of the places. Food options are not good. "24 hour butler" was supposed to come with our room, but did not see a butler once. Even after requesting certain services they offer multiple times, we still have yet to see him or actually get those services. Pillow service is offered. Since there pillows offered are not good we thought we would order firmer pillows. Ordered 5 different times and never came. Was looking forward to at least being able to work out here but the gym is small and not well kept. Even though the pictures showed a big luxurious gym. Do not come unless your planning on being inebriated the whole time or can ignore the horrible service and nonsense logic of the staff and amenities.

This is a resort of luxury. And has an adult only section of the resort that is huge! I cannot recommend this place enough. Highly recommend splurging for the butler service. Find out why the rich and famous go here. And dont forget to tip, you beautiful bastard! Five stars is not enough. Stop reading this review and book your ticket now.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. It was beautiful, clean, and lots of fun. My son had his wedding there 7 years after his sister did the same. We all enjoyed it so much, he decided to go back for his own wedding. The service is top notch. You will be treated like royalty. I highly recommend this for your next vacation destination.

This was my first experience outside of the US. Thanks to my amazing Boyfriend who surprised me with this romantic most beautiful resort an destination for my 40th Birthday! The staff went out of their way to accommodate all my requests and wishes. The Butler Victor Sosa was amazing and even went out of his way to set up an romantic dinner. I live in Florida but the white powdery sand, and clear waters were breathtaking. Thank you to all the Staff at the Majestic for making this an amazing trip!

Beautiful Club, impeccable service, beautiful beach…

David Lopez was our "janitor" he calls. It was an exemplary help really a very friendly person thanks to him especially.
At our arrival he presented us with the services offered and even when there was some small detail he demonstrated a particular tone attestation to us.
Then every morning he came and said to us good times and we enthusiastically ask how we were going after 3 weeks at the hotel we were still sad not to bring him home Hi Hi I joke! Good room service OK the excellent food and alcohol and service in the room David knew him well to give it to us so that he gave me a sweater from the resort! Thank you again!

Gorgeous. A large complex, but not overwhelming. Great food. Not impressed with the beach. Non resort guests gave me trouble about moving their chairs too close. Because I had paid extra for the private beach, I was not happy about their so so response. The room was magnificent. The resort is divided into sections based on pay. Wristbands.

Visited for a destination wedding. Stay was wonderful. Can't control the weather but it was good 90% of the trip. Our room was amazing. We had a swim up suite. The festivities and activities were fun. The shows the resort put on were enjoyable but a little cookie cutter. The selection of alcohols was great for an all inclusive. My big complaint was the food. We made it to 3 of the sitdown restaurants at the resort and the food was passable at best. The buffet had better food but after a few days I realized it was basically the same food each day. I would go back but only for a reason aka another wedding. I like to bounce around to different places though.

Great place to vacation. I can't wait to return excellent food, drink, entertainment, rooms, decor. 100% recommended, I have no complaints, I loved it and that I have visited several hotels in Punta Cana of the same quality but this I loved even for the theme that leads.

The place is super, hotel norms. Only a dumb drunk American youth, yelling and booze all night.

We just got back from our week long stay at the Majestic Elegance. We have stayed at all three Majestic resorts and the Elegance was our favorite so far. We booked an Elegance club room and it's worth it for the private beach area and bars alone. While some people had issues with their butler Victor was great. He booked both restaurants for us without even asking and checked in on us around the resort. The key here is to tip them for their service. While not required, working in the service industry it helps and you get better service. This goes for everyone from the maid staff to the bartenders. The food was great and we enjoyed breakfast at the Sea by Sea and the Japanese restaurant. The buffet was also good with great service. Also the entertainment was amazing. The love band in the courtyard each night were great and we enjoyed dancing with each other and the staff. Can't wait until we can return.

My husband and I stayed at the Majestic Elegance for 4 nights. We really enjoyed our time here and I highly recommend upgrading to the Majestic Elegance club. Worth your money. Our butler Wiser was AWESOME! He made sure we had everything we needed and made our stay great. One complaint we did have was the service at the bars. Some of the bartenders were unfriendly and the drinks were very weak. When asking to use the top shelf liquor, you got a sense of attitude. If you can find beach bartender July — she was great. Go into a mindset that service will not be superb at certain place and you will have a great time. Food was very good. Our favorite place to eat was the hibachi grill — reservations required. Our least favorite was the French Restaurant (reservations also required). The room was great — very spacious and very clean. Bring singles for tips. Overall good experience.

It deserves its note as well on the suites as on the restaurants the staff is small care with us quality at all levels to recommend advice go there at least 10 days to enjoy it.

This was our second visit at the Majestic Elegance and it was as wonderful as we remembered it. The accomplished and personal bartender of the upper foyer bar, Dennis 'the Menace' worked his wonderful magic. Our waiter Franklin was tremendous, and successfully located passion fruit for me. Food in the main dining room, as well as the specialty restaurants was exceptionally prepared. Everyone makes us very comfortable here, and we cannot wait to return.

Impressive resort. Totally recommended and wanting to go back.
Its great capital are its workers, attentive at all times for the customer to enjoy their vacation to the fullest, from which occupies the highest position until the one who occupies lower positions, all are essential for a resort of this size to work so Not bad.

Fantastic food! Staff is also quite friendly. The check-in and check-out was a pleasant and painless experience. Having your own personal "butler" to attend to your needs was great — our guy was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. I couldn't quite give it 5 stars though as there were a few minor "complaints" that I had: — Power goes off in the room during the day while you're out, so you can't charge your devices. — The A/C in our room didn't work that well. — The lobby bar is quite chaotic and disorganized, so it can take a while to get a drink there. — We went in February, so the pool was a bit chilly (they don't heat them due to the climate, so don't be surprised! ) All in all though we really enjoyed ourselves here and would definitely come back!

My husband and I stayed at this resort for our Honeymoon, and we left with no complaints! The food, the service, and the staff were amazing! Everything was kept so clean, and there was so much fun activities going on throughout the day/evening. Everyone was so friendly! We could not have picked a better destination!

What a wonderful resort and experience. My husband and I were very much impressed with the quality of service and facilities. As soon as we got to the resort, we were welcomed with a drink. The check in process was so easy. We did upgrade to the elegance club and enjoyed it quite a bit. At check-in we were met by out butler who showed us to our room, which was very spacious and spotless. We were very much impressed with how well kept the resort was and by how wonderful the staff was. Everything at this property is so well kept. The beaches are beautiful and you are really able to decide whether you want to spend your day by one of the pools or the oceans. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the food. All of the restaurants were wonderful. However, our favourite was the Italian one. We so much enjoyed talking to the employees. Pedro was so great to converse with. We really felt like everyone working at the resort did their very best to ensure we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. It was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to come back.

The resort was absolutely beautiful! Service was amazing and the food was to die for. Alfredo took great care of us at check in and check out. All of our needs were met on this vacation. Pedro was amazing! No matter what restaurant we were at he was always there to make sure everything was great! Definitely coming back next year!

Excellent facilities. Warm and pleasant attention of the Dominicans. Very good restaurants and other regulars. A little wind, but you enjoy it much the same.

Excellent Resort! Especially on the Club side. The restaurant is good as well as the food. The staff is courteous and gives good service. The beach is very beautiful and a lot of Pararapas!

Nice rooms and spa but the food was penitentiary quality with penitentiary choices. The guest and staff were loud. You are almost trapped at the hotel unless you want to spend more money. Seems all they want is more money from you for all sorts of reasons. First thing as you arrive at the airport is a $10 fee per person for landing and its literally the first thing they want from you, then they wast more of your time with where they think you should stay next time. The hospitality was lacking, you are nothing more than a money cow to these people. The smiles and gestures are fake. They don't care but fake it well. Never again will we return.

I'm not an especially experienced traveler in the Carribean. I've only been to three other resorts in Punta Cana and Jamaica. This resort is head and shoulders above the other three in every way. Great rooms, beautiful landscaping, and great food. But the biggest difference is the staff. This year was my fourth time there, and I can't say enough about how courteous, friendly, and helpful everyone there is. I just got back home, and I'd like to give a big shout out to Cesar and Ismael, to Juan, to Jorge Luis, to Francesca, to Roberto, to Ernesto, to Rafael. All friends of mine now. I will see you again on December 12, 2018!

All-inclusive (food, alcohol, room service) with superb staff. They will stock your fridge and fix your room up perfect every single morning. Beautiful view. Alcoholic drinks aren't very strong. Good I'd great. The steak house place is the best for dinner. The French place has the best breakfast—fresh, tasty, variety of choices.

I have been very pleased with my time here. As other guests have described, the food could use improvement. But the positive side is it's absolutely beautiful, excellent service, top shelf drinks, nice beach and entertainment team to keep it interesting. There's so much more than I listed but they were my highlights of the week. Be sure to book the Japanese restaurant for the best food and dance with "Sexy Diesel" from the entertainment team.

Just returned from a wonderful stay (3rd time in 10 yrs). The elegance club does not disappoint! Wonderful beaches, weather wasa balmy 85! Clean and service is impeccable! Victor our concierge was great! made all our reservations without asking! Beach party was fun! Magic show and Acrobatic Circus were marvelous shows! others could be missed… LOVED the band! wish they could have began n stayed later as it sometimes conflicted with the dinner hour. I would recommend the pool music to be turned down… a bit annoying midday at the beach and outside other areas when you can hear them way on the other side of the property… but overall a great stay… Food was good, but restaurants not as great as the first time… Buffet was good choice of foods… plenty of diverse meals! … all fresh! Service stupendous… problem with elevator out but they were working on it! Just a great property, great beach great staff! We tip, but it;s not expected… Clean, restful and comfortable!

We recently stayed 9 days at the Elegance Club and we had a very nice time. Here's the pluses: Beautiful beach, hard-working staff, well-maintained grounds, top-shelf liquor, fun entertainment, not overcrowded and giant lobby/bar area. Minuses: The rooms are in need of a little updating and frankly, the food is disappointing. Although we have stayed at a lot of resorts over the years, this is the only place that we have visited twice because we liked it so much. We're not "foodies" by any means but the food is really hit or miss, and mostly a miss. We spoke to many other guests who thought the same. Would we stay here again? Not likely unless the food improves. Do we recommend it? Definitely. Just don't expect great quality food.

2 weeks ago was at this amazing resort. Service was great food amazing! Beach and pools are beautiful. Have to say my wife and I will return soon thanks to everyone for making this paradise. Truly thanks to Jon Rafael he was so good with keeping everyone having fun. Shows were fun just great experience at this beautiful resort.

I vacationed with 10 other coworkers and we ALL had an amazing time. The rooms were great and spacious, fridge was always stocked. Pools were amazing and clean, ENDLESS alcohol, entertainment was great and service was awesome. Lots of great food and airport shuttles prompt and efficient. I would highly recommend this resort.

We traveled in a group of 15 and the experience was breathtaking! Food was AMAZING (no one got sick), rooms were extremely clean, staff was very friendly and there were tons of activities! Will definitely return, worth every penny!

We had a great time. We came here for our honeymoon but for my preferences I would've chosen a more secluded area/country so there would've been more romance. The workers here worked very hard, especially when Hurricane Maria came through. They did everything they could to keep us safe, fed, and entertained the whole time. Be careful with using a taxi service here or having enough cash on you before you use one. One of them told us that there were no ATM's at our resort (which there are) so they charged us to go to an ATM. After they drove us to where we needed to go they took us back to the resort and told us we needed to pay more than what they originally told us so they had to drive us back to the ATM, which was another extra charge.

Let me start by saying this resort has a lot of potential. Our initial experience was not good. Our first room was ground floor facing the Colonial Hotel stage and a wall. The staff stuck 4 full size beds in that room. My wife was not happy. We eventually got better rooms, but we were so angry that we retired for the night from all the anguish. There is no such thing as a queen size bed at this hotel, at least not for the junior suite, just full and king. This leads me to believe it was made for adults only. Our second room was really nice and on the second floor facing the pool with a bit of a beach view. The ride to the hotel is about 25 minutes from the airport. The staff was hit or miss. The best guy, hands down, is Roberto at the bar in the upstairs lobby. BEST GUY! Go see him. Everyone should be more like him. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the staff could be a bit nicer. Our room service was good for the first few days and then starting lacking. Save your tips for those who do a GOOD job. Not all were grumpy, but one spoils the bunch. Back to the hotel, The grounds are well maintained and the pool is awesome. This is were we spent most of our time when we were not doing excursions. For me seven days was way too much. I would prefer three to five days here. Which by the way speaking of excursions … save your money. Everything is way overpriced, and the snorkel mouth piece is reused for the next guy … yuck.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, which is surrounded by swimming pools and located right next to the beach. You will not be short on food or drinks. Six restaurants ranging from Japanese to Italian. Great staff that make you feel just at home. I had a great experience, definitely the place to be if you visit DR.

I am absolutely disappointed with Majestic Elegance Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. My wallet was stolen the second night. I was basically bribed during check-in to change my room upon my arrival on the first day. I saw my butler 3 times during a 6 day vacation. My girlfriend and I was on our 5 year Anniversary and we did not receive any acknowledgment. My girlfriend had to complain for someone to finally arrive and decorate our room during our stay which eventually happened during our last night. After my wallet was stolen out of our room. We filed a report for the stolen property and the staff was oblivious as to what occurred and what procedures were necessary during such an incident. My wallet was never found neither was the money I had inside. I would not recommend this resort to my worst enemy. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of service we received during our stay at Punta Cana and extremely disgusted with the lack of professionalism and incompetency.

Pretty Good This was the third all-inclusive resort we've stayed at. The other two were in Mexico. The resort is in good repair and the room was nice and clean and spacious. We had a swim-up room with indoor jacuzzi. The pool outside the room wasn't very spacious but there were other options. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The food was above-average but not excellent. Overall, a good experience.

Excellent views on the water, water sports were reasonably priced, pools/pool areas are very clean. We paid for the elegance club upgrade. I do not recommend paying for the upgrade. We were supposed to get 24/7 room service. However, after midnight (sometimes earlier) no one would answer their phones. The food here was not the best (both buffets offer the same food). French restaurant was good and food there was served warm. We enjoyed the live shows and went to each one during our stay. Sandra (entertainer) was wonderful! She got us to enjoy activities throughout the day, and dance on stage at night. When coming make sure to pack and emergency kit. At one point we had to buy a box of bandaids because not one part on the resort had them (strange) which was very over priced. Would constantly ask for bottled water as I know many people who come to the DR get sick from their tap water. Overall, very family friendly but if it wasn't for the smiling staff I would not return.
