The staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. Rooms were spotless and beautiful. Would definitely stay here again! Check out the sign that was in the elevator and the sign under the bed. They really mean it!

Just stayed for four nights and had a great time. We opted for the breakfast each day, which had a nice offering of. Nice to start out the day relaxing by the little fireplace. I would have liked a couple changes each day, just for variety. We had the small room and it was fine! Perfect for what we needed. Cozy comforters and bed in a room overlooking the street. If you need total silence to sleep that side might not work as there is a bar on the corner, but we're used to some noise and loved the view. Concierge suggested places just over the bridge to eat which was great. There's a cute park about a block over, super close to Norreport and easy walking distance to many sites. Staff was always nice and room was always clean.

Great little boutique hotel in a fantastic central location. Easily walkable to the Nørreport transit station, the amazing Torvehallerne market, and lots of other sights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was cozy and had a euro style bathroom with a floor drain for the shower and just a curtain to separate it from the toilet and sink — so don’t expect a massive American style bathroom. Had a great experience and would definitely go back.

Ibsens Hotel is a really nice hotel. Beds are comfortable & room quiet. I enjoyed my stay. The staff are friendly, informative & helpful. It's in a nice area. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Copenhagen.

I have nothing but praise for Ibsens Hotel. They have impeccable standards and the service is wonderful. I really felt welcome there. And it's so central, close to everything. I can highly recommend staying with them.

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIRᴀven. Com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! Great location, friendly staff and a very nice breakfast. Rooms are nice and functional with fun touches like checking for monsters under the bed! Room size is fair and the beds are comfy. The room I had did joy have any separation from the shower and rest of the bathroom (aside from the curtain) so I needed to place a towel on the floor to prevent getting wet feet/socks after. Not a big deal, but surprised me. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit if the rates are within our policy. The only complaint I could provide is that there is only one elevator (lift) and it can be slow. I wasn't able to find easily accessible stairs which would have been nice, especially after an evening of dining in Copenhagen!

This is a hard hotel to review, because the pros and cons are so stark. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly (this was the best customer service we had in all of Denmark). Also, the cozy hour in the bar was great and the location right near the train and Torvehallerne was great. Now the downsides. The room felt small relative to the size listed online (not saying the online listing was wrong — I didn't measure it — it just felt small) ; the bathroom in particular was really, really tiny. The bed was small and not particularly comfortable (the padding on the bed was a bit strange and too small) and the room lacked some amenities you'd expect given the price (like… glasses. Or tissues).

Lovely boutique hotel well situated in the centre of Copenhagen with a private carpark nearby. Very friendly staff. Our room was a little on the small side but totally adequate for our 1 night stay. Very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast buffet in the morning. I would use this hotel again.

Very clean and very good service…

They don’t care, they just want your money. Disappointed by their lack of sympathy for guests with legitimate excuses and circumstances that require a change in reservation with over a months notice. They use words like “it was already pre-paid” and “you used a promotion” to excuse themselves from refunding you. Things happen and hotels should be willing to understand and go above and beyond to service guests. Definitely do not recommend.

Stayed for 4 nights and wasn't disappointed. The staff were all very friendly and the service was fantastic. The decor in the room I stayed in was a little dated, but the room was cosy and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee is good to.

I was there in 2015 for a couple of nights and found it looked after and cleaned. As I am used to it I found the rooms a bit ' minimal ' but comfortable. Very friendly staff, a rich breakfast buffet. Quiet location A short walk from the centre and the Norreport station, for those who need to move. Positive experience.

Very good option to have everything handy in the city. Of the rooms and deal I have no complaints, but when we went the hotel was under construction and they were starting to drill at 8 in the morning, something we were not warned. Hence the 4 and not 5.

Hotel 3 * * * OK but no more. Small rooms, incomodísimas beds (ultra thin and soft mattresses), bathroom without shower plate with what was wet… Yes, proper cleanliness and good attention. But of course, for the price it has… does not compensate.

Small rooms but stylish lounge, very nice staff and a cozy happy hour where they invite the guests for a drink — I had a great time every night meeting new travellers each day. Quiet room in a safe and good central neighbourhood.

The hotel is pretty cozy and placed very close to underground station and almost in the city center. Staff is very nice. Really good breakfast.

Love that the breakfast is filled with locally produced food and drink, but a bit small space and overcrowded at nine o'clock. Staff is very friendly and the free serving at 17-18 in the bar is also a plus. Rooms are clean, but a very negative experience is noise from the street because of old windows and between the rooms and floors. Soundproofing and new surfaces would make this an excellent hotel.

The hotel is pretty cozy. Rooms are clean and equipped quite normally. The breakfast is good and varied. The happy hour — discount was good, because drinks were free. The hotel was close to the metro station Nørreport.

I really love this hotel. Cozy hour is awesome, amd the bar is available at otjer times. It's cute and quaint while still being modern. As an American, I miss air conditioning but only at night. It is a little loud in the rooms, so it loses a star for that.

Brilliant hotel with friendly staff. Would highly recommend staying here as it is a great location for visiting places in Copenhagen. The cosy hour is an added bonus with a free drink of your choice.

A hotel the way we like them. Everything is perfect. The décor is really nice. The staff are charming and available. Breakfast is insane. … Choice of madness … impossible to taste everything. … even in three days. The neighborhood is quiet, the bars around friendly. We also rented bikes at the hotel. … the situation is top 10 minutes from everything… short great hotel, and I'll be happy to stay there.

Staff are very friendly and answered all of our questions. Area is walkable with large shopping areas and restaurants nearby. Room is quite large with a good view, large comfortable bed, and clean bathroom.

The hotel has a very central location. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is truly excellent. However, the rooms, especially the bathrooms are tiny and in urgent need for refurbishment. The small double rooms offered for 2 people are suitable for one person only due to the bed size (around 120 cm), thus you get an upgrade offered even before you see the room. We would not go to the hotel again.

Hotel very well located, for our part we had a large room on the 4th floor, comfortable bedding, cons bad thermal insulation of the windows, friendly welcome.

One night, ideal location, small room and bathroom not to standards, breakfast correct, quality price it na nothing has even very expensive hotel.

I booked this hotel through booking dot com. Upon receiving my confirmation, I realized that I had made the error of booking the wrong month! I immediately sent off an email to the property and called booking dot com customer service who said that they could not amend the dates since I had booked a nonrefundable rate. If I cancelled, I would be charged the full fare. They suggested I get in touch with the hotel. It was almost 11pm and I was desperately calling the hotel in Denmark at $1.99/minute. On my second try (at first I called the reservation line, this time I called reception), I get in touch with the front desk agent who informed me that the reservation desk is currently closed and I would have to call back in a few hours. I ended up sending another email and vowed to try again in the morning. This morning, I received an email from the hotel stating that although changes of any kind are not allowed under the nonrefundable fare, they would make an exception since I contacted them immediately after my booking. I had read some other not so nice reviews about their cancellation policy and am very fortunate to have a positive outcome. It is now less than 10 hours later and the issue has been resolved. I am very pleased with the service provided through this reservation process and look forward to our stay in June (not July as originally booked! ).

Nice accommodation near the heart of the city with no frills. The rooms are small and sound isolation can be improved. There are convenience stores and good eateries nearby. The metro and electric bike stations are nearby too.

Spoiled himself ending the cruise. Decided to stay in Copenhagen for two nights after the cruise. Gray hotel, not ventilated smells. Bed-Mustang. Quilt 1, 5 * 1, 8 m has two lacked. All night to keep a pillow, a blanket and keep yourself prderživat′-skačivaešsâ. The size of the room is tiny. For 0, 7 m in tripartite bed and all. Very sorry.

We stayed here on a tour in 2008. The elevator was the only issue, but I believe from my European travels this can be quite common. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Clean rooms, good rates, very pleasant breakfast. Great location! Hotel furnishing a little dated. Linens spotless. Bike rentals are reasonable.
