A beautiful bouquet hotel on Copenhagen most iconic street near the city of this beautiful city. The staff is extremely friendly and we felt immediately welcomed. I will sure recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a unique experience in the city of fairy tales and mystery.

Will located and beautiful boutique hotel. The lobby is lovely and they serve free coffee in the morning. The room is lovely and the staff are super helpful. The only downside that there is no air conditioning (A/C) which can be hot in the afternoon. Over all the location is excellent and good place to book.

Central. Nice staff Small rooms and singular disposition of the sanitary.

The rooms are lovely, the beds are large and comfortable, the breakfast would benefit from some more hot food but the selection is still wonderful. Complimentary wine between 5 and 6 is a nice touch. The proximity to the central station is really nice too, and plenty of good stuff very close by.

Great hotel within walking distance to most of Copenhagen's attractions and the train station. Room was modern, clean and very comfotable although a little on the small side. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of food although cooked breakfast was not included in the price. Free wine from 17:00 to18:00 was a highlight of the stay. Would recommend staying here.

Excellent stay at this hotel. The staff is, without exception, really friendly and welcoming. Rooms are quite small (which I knew before booking so no problem for me), beds are comfortable and bathroom is comfortable (nice rain shower with sufficient height for me as tall person). Breakfast was one of the best that I have encountered in a hotel. Everything fresh and lots of healthy choices (except the available alcoholic bubbles ;) ). Also nice that there is a daily hour (between 5 & 6 pm) in which you can drink free wine and port with other guests. Would stay here again!

Really nice hotel with a great central location. Very modern and great decor. Rooms are stylish, comfortable and quiet. My room had a nice balcony with a view of the square. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have free wine hour between 5 and 6 pm. Breakfast is simple but good. You should stay here.

Very central hotel with nice interior design, spacious rooms (at least our was much bigger than we expected), and very nice terrace with beautiful views. The breakfast area it's always to crowded around 9 am you need to wait for a table but staff is friendly and helpful. It's a shame that the rooms are not cleaned properly tough…

Overall a nice hotel. The rooms are very small — the smallest we've ever stayed in. However we've only stayed for a long weekend so it wasn't a problem for us. The staff at the reception are very friendly, the free wine between 5-6 it's a great extra, the breakfast is organic. If we are back in Copenhagen we will probably stay here again.

Great little hotel smack in the centre of Copenhagen. The staff working there are very polite and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and to top it off the wine-hour was pleasant. Would stay again.

Good location, close to Tivoli Gardens. We upgraded to a larger room so it was spacious and lovely decor. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Copenhagen.

Clean, modern, friendly staff. Small room but was fine. Good breakfast and also great lounge area. Awesome location… short walk to most tourist places.

Nice design, good reception, very well located, but no room service, no fridge in the room, housekeeping not terrible (compared to other hotels in this price range/services), separate tub from the bathroom which is not very convenient.

A mixed stay… The staff are very friendly, helpful and available. But too many things are not going to be enough… No fridge in the room, no room service, restaurant closed in the evening during our stay, overheated rooms, sloppy housekeeping, bathroom small…

Great hotel! Very central, near most of the touristic points so you can walk everywhere. The room was very comfortable, but a bit small. The staff is incredibly friendly, recommending places to go, to shop, warning about places that are closed. Would definitely stay here again in a future trip to Copenhagen.

This is such a cute hotel in a nice location in Copenhagen, very close to the Tivoli amusement park. The rooms are a bit small, but the service is great and the people are super friendly. They also have free wine from 5-6pm!

Hotel is ok. Stayed here on a business trip. Onliest thing missing. There was no chair and table or something similiar in the room. This should be checked when booked. Breakfast is good and the variety is enough. Pictures are the view from the door.

Great staff and cool location. Rooms are a bit small. Be warned, the church near by rings every 15 minutes 24 hours of the day but this will be a problem regardless where you stay in this part of the city.

Open minded hostes, who a down to earth but still very professional. Even when they are really busy, they find time for every individual person. Loved it.

I recommend that you avoid this hotel in the summertime. Rooms are hot and too bright at night. We had two nights with very limited sleep primarily because of very poor ventilation. The room was very hot even with the windows opened all night. This was while the temperature outside was less than 15 degrees at night. + friendly staff + good location — no ventilation — hot inside even when cold outside — curtains not really blocking much light — external AC was very noisy — very hard beds, among the worst I've tried and I've tried 100+ hotels — rooms small and badly designed (no sink in the bathroom, wardrobe doors could not be fully opened, external AC instead of proper ventilation) = expect limited sleep.

The location is good and the breakfast is very good, but the rooms are clearly below what you would expect for the fairly high price. For a short city trip, O. K. If you consider close rooms, cleanliness and old interiors as not crucial. Staff is nice. The small reception is sometimes overwhelmed because of the high crowds.

Perfect location in the city center close to many tourist attractions. However, the hotel is very old, including the furniture. The rooms are tiny, bathroom is the smallest I've ever seen.

Good location that is a 5 start but the hotel is old and the rooms are clean but low standard. We had a good night slepp but it can't rate it higher than 3 due to the overall impression. Staff was quick and friendly and the outdoor seating was excellent for breakfast.

Definitely an older hotel. The room's walls were a bit beat up and the room was quite small. Also the walls seemed to let a lot of noise through — it was quiet when I was there but with other noisier guests it could be quite loud. However, the price can excuse most of that, you just need to go in with the expectation that it's not a luxury hotel. The location is great though… only a few minutes walk from the main station, and close walking distance to most things downtown!

If you come to Copenhagen and expect an "American" Holiday Inn experience for $100 a night, you're going to be disappointed. I read all the reviews, negative and positive about the Hotel Danmark and knew from the onset that it was a typical "European" hotel, meaning small bathrooms and bedrooms. We checked in for a two night stay and found the hotel to be centrally located to EVERYTHING! Tivoli was 10 minutes away. The National Museum was across the street. The number 26 bus line was right next to the hotel. The canal tour was a 12 minute walk and lots of great restaurants were very close by. We had a room in the older part of the the hotel, but it was clean, had a few spots on the carpet but the bed was great. Yes, the bathroom was small and the shower and toilet shared the same area, but this is Europe and a standard layout. Our room faced the main government building, which had a clock tower that struck every quarter hour, but we love clocks and it never bothered us. The breakfasts in the morning were very European, but very good as well as the glass of wine at happy hour. The staff was exceptional and very helpful when we needed a camera battery and to mail postcards. I consider this hotel an exceptional bargain as long as you realize you aren't getting a Best Western or Holiday Inn at $350 a night. Oh yes, the old elevator was an enjoyable experience and not a nightmare as others describe. Go with an open mind and you'll have a great stay.

Very disappointing. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys. Good bed. Warm and strong shower. Decent breakfast, but expensive + pay extra for anything that is not basic. And yes, those essentials are in order. For everything else: close your eyes and ears — to the duct tape used to repair the carpet on the stairs and in the hallways, to the elevator that doesn't work half the time, to the mould in the bathroom, to Wi-Fi at the speed of when we had modems, the blood stain on the ceiling from some handy-man, lack of ceiling light, so packing in half-dark with bedside table light, promises of a bar that will serve food but nothing else but a platter with some nibbles they call tapas, staff that is basically friendly, but clueless or unwilling to help out to find a decent restaurant close by, get a decent invoice. I don't consider myself very fussy, but I will never come back here. Location is told to be excellent, but everything in Kopenhagen is walking distance, so just find another hotel that won't spoil your stay in this city.

You get what you pay for. This has an excellent location, and that's what I paid for, rest is tired and old though. Even so, it was a good choice for me, I'd do it again, but it's not good.

This is an old hotel and it shows. I stayed 3 nights on the 6th floor and the room was kinda worn out. The bathroom was old and with very little room. No ironing board in the room. Location is everything and this hotel is probably the best located at all. Within walking distance to almost everything in Copenhagen. If you plan to stay in Copenhagen and be away from the hotel most of the time this is a good place, And the breakfast buffet is really good.

After seeing the nice pictures on their webpage, I thought that this is a nice hotel in the city center of Denmark. I can say that the good location is all there is to say about this hotel. The room itself was really awful. It smelled old, the light in the main room didn't function and the bathroom is really, really awfully old and tiny. I have never been so disappointed in a hotel before! Since we hadn't booked the room beforehand, we didn't want to stay. When we went back to the lobby and I calmly explained that we don't want to take that room, the guy at the reception became angry and shouted at me and said that he wants at least 500 DKK as fine for not taking the room! Even though we didn't book anything in advance and didn't touch anything! I have never experienced a more unfriendly hotel! It is definitely not worth its price.

To expensive for that old Hotel. Small rooms with old Beds and Windows, cold Rooms. Loud drunken Room-Neighbours. You hear every steep on Stairs and Floor. Not for to sleep this Hotel, but if you want to make Party all night long.
