It was a great stay. I really recommend this hotel for an overnight stay on the go or from Germany.

My folks have now stayed here twice whilst visiting me and have always had the loveliest time during their stays. Helpful, smiling staff that genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs, and a sense of character about the place that more modern hotels simply cannot replicate. Hearty breakfast buffets, and a comfy and pleasant lounge in which to enjoy the daily “kaffe og kage” tradition. Hot drinks ad libitum, and board games to help while away a rainy hour or two are all typical of the nice touches all round. What was also a very nice touch was the very genuine and personal welcome they received, together with the smiling comment “you love your morning tea, yes? ”, with a kettle ready in reception to go up to the room.

Fantastic, old, filled with charm, no detail is perfekt, but thats why it is fabulous! Best experience in a loooooong time.

Fabulous place to stay right opposite central train station. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast included in our price. Free tea and coffee all day with cake and popcorn at 3pm.

A really nice vintage hotel, where they kept the old style design. It's like a museum hotel.
Friendly and prompt staff, very good breakfast and feel like home ambiance.
I think they have all you need if you're not a picky person. :)

The hotel is located right next to the trainstation and in the middle of city center. The vintage-style room was tidy, TV and free internet access. To get to the bathroom you half to go half a story downstairs (via the room). The breakfast is ok and standard European.

This is a great historic hotel in downtown Kolding. I would highly recommend.

Cheap rates, and "hyggelige" roomservice. The breakfast is so so, but the service was imoecxable.

Eclectic hotel with historical charm, creaky floors, and unique room layouts.

Good position close to both the train station and the city centre. Nice breakfast with typical danish pastries and bread. They offer free snacks and hot beverage in the afternoon.

Cheap hotel, cost me £63 bed and breakfast. Hotel staff very attentive and hospitable. Some things in the rooms could have been fixed, such as shower head and rooms could be slightly more modernised. But all round for the price couldn't complain. Good location as already mentioned.

Charmingly hotel next to the castle and railway station. No room looks the same and the top 4th floor has the original ceiling beams exposed. Perfect for romance.
