Simple hostel good for a one day trip or for a necessary visit as price is cheap.

Good hostel, reasonable prizes and very friendly staff. Rooms a very hot in the summer if you are 6 people. Location is also good, city centre is reachable by foot within 20 minutes.

I tried to cancel my reservation 34 hours before my check in, but the free cancelation ended 48 hours before my check in.
I contacted the hostel asking kindly if they could do me a favour and cancel my reservation for free, knowing from their booking page that their hostel is completely full (first Saturday of August) and that they could get another 2 clients in a very easy way seeing the long (but not enough) notice.
They refused. Oink oink you capitalist pigs.

Very good location (close to shops, pharmacies, eateries and bars). But! The room we met had a terrible amount of dust (the feeling that the room was mothballed a few years after the last guest and was not cleaned). So 2 out of 5.

Great location, friendly staff. They speak fluent English. But very dirty, after we stayed very clean Room 8. Traveling with the Kotami, dust and dirt under the furniture is not comfortable.

When we arrived, we waited 30 mintes before the receptionnist open the gates. The room was disgusting, the floor dirty and full of dust. We spent the night itching and looking if there was bed bug. There was no curatin, so we were waken (almost) by 6:00 AM. And in top of all that, there was no sound isolation between rooms. So we were listening to everything happening in the next room … I will skip the details. So we paid 38 euros for the worst night spent in a hostel ever! Disgusting!

Horrible! Avoid if possible. The room was : — dirty — smelling cigarets — there was no curtain (see photo our stuff for curtain) — bed was not confortable And no acoustic isolation … You can find a way better for the same price.

Convenient location, But on the ground floor there are discos-so very noisy at night can Be. We slept from Monday to Tuesday-was D'n'b party.

Good price and location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms consist of a series of sofas and a shared common space in which there is kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge. There are two bathrooms, one with shower and the other with washbasin and toilet. I go out happy.

Cheap and comfortable, friendly staff, clean. What more can one want?

If I knew it would be ten meters from my room rave, I'd take my nezamhuřivším spolunocležníkům earplugs.

Cheap but nothing really more — the first impression may be pretty okay-ish but during the night it's a nightmare — dirty, badly maintained and very noisy — you can't even hang out at the advertised bar until the party downstairs is over without paying 200czk admission fee
And no real alternatives in the neighborhood
& they can't even get the Wi-Fi to work at least decently.

Not a bad place, the value for money is very good. It depends a lot on the people who will live with you.

Quite a walk from center. Simple apartment flat without any character of a hostel. Basic badrooms. Over night club and pub might the night noise level.

Because we are on holidays nobody of the staff stay during the night at the hostel, very irresponsible! Last night the guy next room had the music out loud, drink a lot of alcohol and they even smoke (which is forbidden and has a penalty of 75 euros) and there was nobody to complain about it. My recomendation is to not stay on holidays or weekends.

The worst place to sleep on central europe, why you say? Because you can't sleep and there is no one to talk about annoying neighbours.

Good cheap rooms centre of town. Super friendly staff. Mid summer is warm with no fans, but really clean rooms, and decent firm beds. We're in double private room with shared bathroom.

We were really dissatisfied with the hostel. The website shows photos of nicely furnished design rooms but in reality, our twin room featured only a very old creaky bed and a tiny table. The hostel is obviously undergoing a reconstruction — in our room the result being four holes of different shapes and sizes (one to the adjacent bathroom, one to the corridor, one to the neighbouring room and finally one to the room below). Both the corridors and the bathrooms were dirty. Worst of all, the hostel is extremelly noisy because of the club in the courtyard — the loud music went on and on until 4am, and when it finally finished, the staff started cleaning up, i. E. Trashing empty glass bottles. Never again. Velmi hlucny hostel od prilehleho klubu Fleda. Do 4 do rana duni hudba, pote zacnou barmani uklizet, a v tuhle ranni hodinu vyhazovat sklenene flasky do odpadaku. Vedle hlucnosti byl hostel dost spinavy.

I really liked the hostel atmosphere at Hostel Fleda. I think it is the best deal you can get for such a price (I got the cheapest bed, which was 9 Euros). The staff is very welcoming and willing to inform, beds are comfortable and have big lockers. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, cooker, microwave and even some food like pasta and tea and coffee.

The hostel is cheap, not far from the city centre, simple, but nicely furnished, I liked the atmosphere there, but what I liked the most was the staff, I have greatly enjoyed my stay in Brno thanks to them.

Yup, the beds are awful but face the reality, you do not go to the hostel to get a quality sleep. If you do, you are a moron — you better get your ass to the hotel. Price was all right, I paid 13 Euros for one night in a 6-bed dorm (but I was the only one sleeping in this room). Overall, the hostel was simply OK. Nothing special, nothing to remember.
