The place is very pleasant, food was nice and the waiter was polite. Everything I expect from a good restaurant.

The reception staff were so very friendly and helpful in every way. The room was spacious and clean. We had a meal in the restaurant, and drinks on the terrace, all were very good and the service was friendly and quick. The hotel is very conveniently and centrally located in the historic area, a short taxi ride from the station. Breakfast choices were good, although not a huge selection. Given the price, we were very happy with the standard of the food and the accommodation in the hotel. We are planning to return to Brno and will go back to Hotel Slavia.

Worst hotel ever!
I have stayed in this hotel for one night on 12th June, got room no 216. During this one night I got so much bitten by bed bugs that I ended up in emergency with kortykoids injection and antybiotics. I got over 300 bites all over my body so it must have been whole colony that attacked me. Diagnosis has been confirmed by the doctor that advised to contact higenic station as well.
I didn’t even get apology note. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, be careful!

I stayed here for one night (business trip) and I was so satisfied. I can recommend.

Nice hotel and good rooms. Street noise, however, was very strong and the windows had prsktish no insulation. Breakfast was good, but the room was too small for all guests.

Central Location, no longer unique To the central location in downtown Brno, distinguishes this Hotel. Within 3 min. You Are at the Shopping Street and thus directly in the City centre. Otherwise, the Hotel (especially the Rooms) is really getting older. Amateurs, Sinks, furniture from the 70s. Two Star Deduction for that.

The stuff does not really like Slovak and Hungarian people, there are much better places in the neighborhood.

Historical Hotel, there are traces of a glorious past, however today it lacks some modern comforts.

Too noisy there very central. But no insulation therefore all night everything from the street audible. Heating extremely warm and windows not well insulated.

Pleasant hotel with long lasting tradition. Parking in front of the hotel, better to be booked before your arrival.

The hotel has flair, the rooms are spacious and the perfect location for visiting Brno makes a good mood.
Also the restaurant in the House has good food and prices. Those who do not want to descend in one of the international hotel chains with their boring ' good ' standards, but prefer a established Brno ' institution ', is well accommodated in Slavia. The staff is very helpful and will ensure a pleasant stay.

Hotel near the road, then easily accessible, hospitable rooms, but lacking in space and good televisions. Good service and food.

Great location. Brno is a fantastic city, youthful but with an old and historic center. The hotel may not be aesthetically good, but there are ample rooms well furnished and arranged. In the bathrooms there is no shower but there is no bathtub, and anyway there is everything you must be. Dining Room not very big but cozy.

Hotel "Slavia" is located near the University of it. T. Masaryk in some distance from noisy streets and squares of the historical part of the city, which has a secluded and family rest, if you are tired of the city bustle. Nearby there is a castle hill, surrounded by a shady park, where you can walk, enjoying nature. On the ground floor of the hotel there is a restaurant, which also has a summer outdoor area.

Decent hotel. Great location. However no air conditioning in rooms so rather warm im summer.

Nice quiet place near the university. On a side street just off the main thoroughfare.

Excellent food great location top class service.

Very convenient location our room was actually a suite with large bedroom, separate living area, bathroom with his and hers washbasins, very good breakfast and we managed to get parking in front of hotel. Staff were extremely helpful.

Room not renovated but clean. We didn't have air conditioning and it was very hot at night. The bed was very comfortable. The products often offered with the bathroom were offered but how would I say… there was not much: small packet of tissue paper, body soap that can be used also for hair. I think that is all. There was a small lunch buffet included with the room: everything was good. Despite everything… I give 4 stars because the price of the room was super affordable (we stayed in 4 different hotels in the Czech Republic and this one was by far the cheapest).

Superb location, right in the city centre. I stayed on the 4th floor and it has a small window which offers a beautiful view of the city. Spacious room, super clean linens. However, it is quite dated and hard to find electric sockets near beds. It comes with a tiny old TV and simple mini bar in the fridge. Breakfast is simple but all fresh and tasty.

It has been a very quiet and pleasant stay. The hotel is located in the center of Brno. The staff are polite and always smiling. Very grateful for your treatment and satisfied with the stay, we will definitely return.

Historic hotel, good reception, really nice and friendly, no parking and in the center is a problem, spacious rooms but bathrooms old, good breakfast, overall it seems a hotel of the period of communism, little has changed.

Ideálna pozícia v strede mesta. Hotel akokeby zaspal a zostal zakonzervovaný desiatky rokov späť. Cítil som sa ako znova v škole v prírode. Izby čisté, raňajky celkom ušli.

Old, very stylish hotel in a central location, friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast room was very fine!

Good: location, location, value for money! There are rooms for smokers!

Breakfast is not the best, Wi-Fi sucks, just my room was big room, but I need to sleep not to have a party. More important was Wi-Fi but really slow. Position is perfect, 2 minutes from central square.

The hotel is centrally located in the city center, about 15 minutes footwalk from the main train station, a tram junction is located about three minutes away. Very spacious rooms, high ceilings, as was common in houses of the century. Features convenient and according to the category, though a bit old (here still breathes the spirit of real socialism). There is stable, secure and fast WLAN (which is not usual in some hotels) available. Friendly staff. Overall a recommendation for this hotel, we would stay here again.

Never more renewed since the renovation in the 70s:
Carpet — disgusting
Bath — totally calcified (incl. Green mold)
Furniture — from the 70-IES (just imagine, how many people already in the beds slept. )
Isolation — non-existent (sleep is very difficult to find — you get with every toilet. ).
