I loved the connection with nature. The service is excellent and the views are amazing.

It is a small but very beautiful rural tourism micro-enterprise. The food is delicious, simple menu. The best cheese omelet I've ever eaten in my life! Accepts cash and card. Super Acceptable prices (we pay 6200 two people)

Lodging is simple in unheated, nearly finished huts. Everything works and beds are firm with plenty of extra blankets. Indoor temperature was 10° C (50° F). Restaurant serves good food and has friendly staff. Morning excursion for the elusive Quetzal.

The location is ideal to capture a moment of the beautiful Quetzal that counts this region of Costa Rica. The hotel is very friendly, but big flat on the standard rooms which are not suitable for room temperature… It is very cold in spite of the blankets and the pleadings that come to decorate the bed.

The view is very nice, ideal for day trips in the area of Los Santos and Cerro de la Muerte.

A place to get out of the everyday of the city and get in touch with nature, paradise view as you can see various types of birds, walking trails, waterfalls and wildlife. The cabins very nice, comfortable, there are disconnected from technology, no TV, no Wi-Fi. The prices dish per person more or less… very good attention. I recommend visiting them and filling lungs with fresh air.

Good place to observe and photograph tall birds, especially hummingbirds and other endemic species of the Talamanca mountain range. The food is good and the prices more or less accessible. The facilities are of regular quality except the cabins that are certainly the best choice for appearance and quality.

A magical place with a spectacular view.

It Is A cozy place, the climate is rich, food is warm, the viewpoints that has are excellent, that if it has to be in summer because in winter nothing is seen.

It Is a rustic and picturesque place I loved.

One of the best places we've stayed in on a mid-range budget. 80$ will get you: — Friendly and helpful staff, who enjoy peace and quiet over bustling activity. — An exceptional view, towering over the clouds and mountains. — Comfy beds at cooler temperatures than on the coast. — Delicious dinner and breakfast. — An early morning Quetzal-spotting expedition, where catching a glimpse one of the birds is all but guaranteed. A real breath of fresh air.

Amazing family run place in the mountains. Very friendly staff, cozy cabins, and a fantastic respite from the coastal humidity, we needed blankets at night. We saw half a dozen quetzals on our morning trek, and ate the best pinto gallo in our trip. Will come back next time for a retreat above the clouds.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel and in my opinion the hotel staff was exceptionally friendly. The nature is interesting and there is a short trail on the property, which I can recommend. In addition to that, I not only had great possibilities to spot hummingbirds, but also had a satisfying Quetzales Tour and was able to spot Quetzales.
