We had the adventure of a lifetime with POC! We booked the two-day trip, which was amazing.

We had an excellent experience with Pacuare Outdoor Center. Our 2-day rafting trip was amazing from start to end.

We did the horseback riding and dinner. It was the best riding experience I've ever had. Beautiful experience. Kind and friendly owners. The dinner was so fresh and excellent.

I went in 2022 and came back again. This a place is truly special and beautiful. The food is just okay but the hotel makes up for it! Stay here you will be happy!

A lodge located higher up with a breathtaking view and in a remote area. The couple hosting it are incredibly sweet and helpful!

Such a lovely and quiet place! The room is located on the floor below the floor of the owner. The room is very spacious, clean and the bed is comfy.

The last stop of our Costa Rica adventure and a great finale. The lodge is perched at high elevation with absolutely stunning views of the surrounding maountains and valleys.

This was our second stay in the Sunrise cabin. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there so we were not able to explore the property or experience the sunrise.

Everything was just great at Mia and Ranzels' beautiful lodge. The path up the mountain is a funny adventure (4x4 definitely needed), the cabins are well equipped, super clean and new.

This would have been an excellent place to reserve for more than our single night. We had two units just above the main lodge. It was well equipped to actually prepare meals.

Honestly, love this place. Everything was perfect. The hospitality at the front desk, the incredible breakfast in the morning, and the three bedroom villa that we stayed in. It was exceptional.

Beautiful grounds and nice rooms. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. Good place to stay at the night before hiking Turrialba Volcano.

Alma de Luna is a very nice hotel/guest house offering cleanliness, safety, and wonderful hospitality. All of the staff was wonderful.

A wonderful location and wonderful cabin. We flew into SJO and drove to here immediately from the airport. We were very very happy. Only spent one night but it was nice.

Beautiful location with amazing views of the surrounding valley. Rooms look out on to the view. Beautiful veranda to watch the numerous birds.

We booked an overnight stay fairly last minute — was a gem of a place — great food, great service, great views and some very cute and friendly greeters (see photos) — located close to Guayabo

Whenever I visit Turrialba, I stay here. They provide a homey feel, and comfort. It’s in walking distance to many restaurants and stores.

I’ve been staying at this charming bed and breakfast in Turrialba, Costa Rica, every year for my work trips, and it’s truly my home away from home.

This hotel is beautiful. It has an old fashioned but elegant design and everything smacks of quality and style.

From the entry lined with majestic palms to the gardens, pool and rooms. Everything is wonderful and staff look after all the details. Highly recommend if staying in the Highlands.

I had a room with a balcony right in front of the bird area. Can it be better, having my tea while a Keel-billed Toucan is perching in the garden if front of you.

Can be a bit noisy given that route 2 is just outside the hotel. Great Wi-Fi and great AC.

This is corporate hotel, great location, great hotel, and restaurant. We had diner and breakfast.

We stayed on an ecodeck, just like the one seen on the picture. I can really recommend this place for a number of reasons.

Iyok Ami is a very basic no-frills hostel but excellent value and a great experience if you're up for something different.

We did a lovely hike here. Mainly spotting lots of birds and enjoying the high altitude rain forest.
FYI: there’s an electricity mast route going through this private park and it can get a bit muddy.

It felt like visiting your family’s house! Martha was super caring, her staff was on point, and the property is very lovely. I miss those incredible views!

Fantastic place to stay right outside of town! We were so thankful that we could stay in a private place that completely accommodated us for our honeymoon!

Montana Linda is a hostel nestled in Orosi, Costa Rica. The communal areas are great and there is a warm atmosphere, very authentic.

Stayed one night, and are so glad we did! I was travelling with my mom and 2-year-old daughter. We had a two-room suite with private bathroom. The rooms were comfortable and the gardens so beautiful!

We are a family of 4 and we stayed for one night at wonderful Mama Coyita’s. Our host was so friendly.

What an amazing place! Such beautiful scenery, incredible atmosphere, rustic but really comfortable accommodation, good food, and the most amazing hosts you could ever hope to meet.
