I’ve stayed at Bonita Bay Concept Hotel several times, and it’s always a fantastic experience. Whenever friends visit Santa Marta, I always recommend they stay here too.

Best deal in the area and the service was top notch. Fortunately, downtown Santa Marta is easily walkable and you'll be on the main bar streets and squares within a few minutes walk.

Great place. Hotel is like brad new! Close to the beach, hotel has a reserve spot where you can get palapas. Pool is great, it is like 3 pools side to side.

Came across this hostel by accident when looking to get into the Calabazo entrance to Tayrona and ended up staying a few extra days. Potentially the nicest hostel I have stayed in all of Colombia.

Great experience with the Family. The inside lobby and waiting areas are very nice with a Luxury look and feel. All the different pools in the different areas are excellent.

Reserva Del Mar at Playa Salguero Review**
I recently stayed at Reserva Del Mar at Playa Salguero, and it was an unforgettable experience.

I liked it so much that I stayed here for a month and invited my niece! Very clean and comfortable rooms with air conditioning. Several pleasant shared spaces, good Wi-Fi and room for co-working.

My stay at Tia Chela hostel was brilliant. The hostel was very clean with good facilities including washing. Luis was very kind and helped me order taxi’s and negotiated a price with the drivers.

The hotel was nice and close to, restaurants, shops. Perfect if you want everything within walking distance.
What we loved the most was the pool, since we were with a 9year old, that enjoyed the pool.

When you decide to stay in the center of Santa Marta in general, you have to live with the noise. It is in fact extremely noisy.
