Cacao hostel is a quaint, comfortable and clean hostel in a great location. I volunteered here and really enjoyed my time, getting to know the guests.

Great people and hostel, with a cool little pool and included breakfast with coffee refills which are always great. They are also very helpful with organising anything you may need.

My stay in La Guaca was amazing. I felt really welcomed by the people here from the staff Sofie, isa and tiffany as well as the owners. I had a great time in santa marta.

I stayed here 4 times in two weeks, as I used it as a base that I kept coming back to in between multi-day trips to Tayrona, Minca, and trekking to the Ciudad Perdida.

I stayed two nights in this very cosy hostel. It's a really warm family running the place and everyone is super friendly.

This hostel is the real deal! The beds are super comfortable and the facilities are modern, clean, and provide excellent value.

It is my favourite place to spend the day by the beach. If you want to stay for the day to enjoy the restaurant you can. You can reserve with them to check availability.

The rooms are ok, but can be cleaner. A lot of ants everywhere. The location is awesome, it has direct access to the beach. Food is good. And the promises are basic for the price.

I had an amazing stay at The Dreamer Hostel in Santa Marta! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed.

Super comfortable stay. Very safe with a beautiful pool in the midst of a mango grove. Close to supermarkets and transport into Parque Tayrona and shuttle to Minca. Best part was the amazing staff.

A beautiful place to stay. I visited for a birthday party so can't comment on the rooms, although the hosts of the event commented on how much they were enjoying their stay.

I was quite surprised by the negative reviews because I didn't experience any of this. The staff were very kind and as soon as my room was ready, I could check in early.

My stay at Tia Chela hostel was brilliant. The hostel was very clean with good facilities including washing. Luis was very kind and helped me order taxi’s and negotiated a price with the drivers.

Unfortunately I had to cancel the room at the Check-In date. They were so friendly and kind to cancel the room without any fee! The best service I had in Columbia, thank you so much!

We loved our stay here! The rooms are great value for the price, and the staff at the front desk were incredibly sweet and helpful. They helped arrange rides for us and even offered a laundry service.

Nice staff and clean spacious rooms. The location is a bit shady but alright.

The location is good, the staff is nice and breakfast is ok.
The pool was quite dirty and Wi-Fi was a bit of an issue. The room was quite noisy as the road is right behind the bathroom windows.

Plus: capsules were nice with individual fans although no storage space other than a small locker.
Cons: we booked a 6 person dorm but the desk put us in a 12 person dorm for the same rate.
