We stayed at the Inn for 3 days and 2 nights, and were very pleased with our stay. The location is absolutely perfect, especially if you will be going out on small excursions or day trips. It feels like everything is so close, nearly everything was within walking distance. We made our reservation using Interval points, and the transition between "currencies" was quick and simple. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. Nothing too fancy but it more than did the job. Parking with in-and-out privileges was a godsend, especially on our last day. Since the hotel is in such a central location, we didn't really need the car for anything. We were able to leave it in the lot and still kept access to it, even after checking out.

Great location. Awesome room. It's absolutely flawless. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and attractions. Only downside is that parking was sold out and I had to park on Street. Check in was easy and very friendly.

Clean nice room. Check in was good and I was greeted and taken care of nicely. I like how the adjoining restaurant has a 25% discount with the room key.

It was clean and nice. Amenities were not amazing. Before we even got to our room the manager let us know that they are against loudness. Well enough but impressed by nothing.

An unfortunate little hotel with a great location. Be prepared to boil in your room if you’re having a summer stay. No AC in the rooms, but if you’re lucky you’ll get a fan in your room. Sadly, our was broken : (Sweatfest 2018. Also be aware of the paid parking… just because you paid a super high price for a pretty dismal room doesn’t mean you get to park for free. Better places to stay in Victoria for better value.

Had a great experience over the weekend. I had a reservation at a b & b for my anniversary and they had messed up my reservation. I went to quality Inn and they were so friendly and accommodating. The clerk even gave us a 15% discount and a suite because of our experience at the b & b as she knew how disappointed I was. The room was clean and spacious. It didn't have ac, which was unfortunate as it was a really hot weekend. The walls are thin, so noise travels easily. They had a printer available to guests, which we used. Super handy! The pub attached was surprisingly very tasty. Small and quaint, made me feel like I were in London. They allowed me to extend my parking beyond our check out time so that we could continue touring the city.

Good hotel, great location and the swimming pool was decent. Parking garage is super tight, card keys work half the time, TV didn't work in our friends room, and lots of street noise from screaming passer-by and motorcycles. It's half the price of the inner harbor hotels so you get what you pay for. It's walkable to almost everything so location is it's best selling point.

It was nice and clean. AC in the room was nonexistant and the windows barely opened so it got hot during the day. At night it cooled enough and they provided a fan. We had a kitchenette and everything worked fine: Toaster, 2 burner stove, and microwave. They provided a kettle and 1 cupper for coffee. There was no breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Was on the ground floor in a downtown hotel, so noise was to be expected. There were a few earwigs in the bathroom and the blankets on the bed were super thin. Parking isn’t free and there isn’t any complimentary breakfast, but there is a discount given at nearby restaurants (which were very good). Staff was very nice. Overall a place to put your head down, but for $200 a room I feel like there are better options.

Close to where I need to be. I edited my original review of this place. By now I have spent on average 2 nights a week in the last 6 weeks and 4 nights for 2 weeks. If you're a light sleeper, which I'm not, ask for the quiet room on the inside court and other street side. And ensure that you are guaranteed the room before booking. 3F rooms are acceptably quiet on either side. 2F street side on fort street is very noisy and close to the pub entrance and motorcycle parking. Checkout staff is unfriendly especially when the manager is not around, but check in staff is.

Friendly staff and housekeeping was good. However poor sleep as walls are thin, loud rambunctious partiers in and out next door could hear them so clearly through the big gap in the door and through the thin (uninsulated? ) walls. Took until 3:45 am for management to deal effectively with them. Was staying there as I was working from out of town and needed a a relatively quiet place to rest. Not recommended if peace and quiet is important to you.

Had a great stay here. This was the first time I had stayed at this location and was quite pleased with the staff and all they had to offer for the very reasonable cost. Excellent central downtown location for both tourists and returning locals such as myself…

Good price, good location, very friendly staff, clean room. Only slight downside was the noise in the morning, from 7am there was a helicopter taking off.

I stayed on the first floor, adjacent to the elevator so my room was a little noisy. The walls are also a little thin so it's easy to hear the kids next door. The service was fine. The 25% discount at the attached pubs is also a nice perk. Worst part was the TV. Most of the channels were locked. It's a little nitpick, but it's annoying to flip through the guide, find something you want to watch only to have it be blocked.

My family and I stayed here just before Christmas for shopping etc. I booked two rooms, one double and a king room. The staff were very friendly, the building was very clean and they are upgrading rooms on the upper floors. We heard nothing during our stay. The king room was very nice and modern. My family member was VERY pleased with his accommodations. Our double bedroom was very cozy, very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The room was a tiny bit dated but honestly, it was so clean, quiet and immaculate I have no complaints our accomodations. The fitness room and pool in the basement could use and overhaul though and it's location is just right off the parking lot. Security and privacy in the pool area could be more than it is. This hotel is in a very central location, walking distance to everything was awesome. The price was incredible for what we got, it was $120.00 for the night plus taxes of course.

It's an older hotel currently under renovation. The room was okay. Proximity to downtown is good.

This is a good basic hotel if you're just looking for somewhere central to crash for a couple of nights. They were going through renovations during my stay so it was a bit loud during the day but they didn't start too early or end too late. Staff is very friendly and they have secured parking. The pool and fitness center will leave you wanting if you plan on spending time there. Overall it's decent value for money.

The quality inn is located within walking distance to a number of great attractions downtown. Room was clean and check in was painless. Parking located at hotel. Pool and exercise room on site. Staff is friendly and helpful.

King rooms are spacious. Hotel has complimentary Wi-Fi & indoor pool. The gym consists of 1 treadmill & 1 stationary bike. The restaurant — Argyle Attic is super cozy with great food, service & decor.

Had a room with a kitchenette, at a really great rate. Kitchen was missing a few essential utensils, such as a can opener and a knife with cutting board. Could not get the temperature to go down in the room, but setting up the fan that is supplied, and leaving it on in front of an open window helped at night. Parking is extremely tight, had trouble finding space for my truck. Perfect walking distance to so many touristy things. All within an hour walking, some as little as ten minutes. Many great restaurants around, as well as really fun pub attached to the hotel, as in a walk around the corner. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would gladly stay here again.

Very convenient location. Awesome service and affordable. The building is low on parking spots but the library in front has free parking on weekends.

Perfect location in the heart of Victoria close to the harbor. The hotel does the job very well. Parking fee is $12.

The service was excellent and so was the location. Parking was 12 dollars for the night in the secured parkade. All major downtown attractions are within walking distance. Deducted one star for the room cleanliness; we found what looked like dog kibble in the middle of the room from a previous guest. The hotel is currently doing upgrades, so the halls were a bit messy but it was not an inconvenience.

We stayed in a suite with a small kitchenette and a big soaker tub! It was the perfect place to stay for a weekend get away. Even though it was under construction, the guys waited till late in the morning to continue working so that didn't disturb us at all! The lady at the front desk was very helpful, and friendly! We loved the 25% off you got at the attached restaurant and pub. The food was good, and staff there were friendly too! This hotel was so close to everything! Loved it and would highly recommend! :)

It looks really clean and polished after the renovation. Rooms have spacious beds, tidy bathrooms, clean and not at all dusty. I liked little details like a coffee maker with provided coffee or electrical outlets close to beds, that made my stay a bit more pleasant. The location is also pretty convenient as there are couple of bus stops, parking lots, warf and seaplane airport, all within 10 minutes walking range.

Stayed in 2 rooms overnight at the Quality Inn Downtown. The corridors in the hotel is currently under renovation as of 05/27/17, and the place unfortunately looks rather run down. The hotel reception was very helpful, the rooms were somewhat clean but the building and amenities were on the older side and not worth the price bracket. Walls were paper thin. Good service and accommodating but not recommended due to cost and age of hotel.

Good stay! My room was nice and clean, at the far end of the hallway so I didn't have much for neighbours which was nice, had a microwave which was handy. Room had plenty of plug ins in easily accessible spots. Fun fact: the shampoo in my room made a suitable substitute for bubble bath (was raining out and I didn't want to go anywhere). The lady at the front desk was very nice (helped me get the show I wanted on TV, helped me select a restaurant when the Argyle was closed and the pub had people that drank more than I wanted to be around, broke change for me so I could use the vending machine). Lobby was immaculate. My only complaint is that the hallway on the second floor smelled a little funky, but they are in the middle of reservations replacing the carpet and wallpaper in the hallways so I assume that's part of the reason for the renovations is to fix that. Moral of the story I'd be happy to stay here again.

It was a quick trip to Victoria no plans were made. Just a friend and I just happened apon this hotel went in and the desk person was great. Answered all my questions. Book the room. The room was very clean nice and updated. Quiet with a nice restaurant and bar. If ever staying in Victoria again that will be the place I stay.

Excellent place to stay. More affordable than some of the others and also within a short walking distance of many tourist destinations. The staff was very professional and the room was clean.

Decent accommodations for the price. Close to the harbour, which is always a bonus. Parking is an issue, though. There isn't enough underground parking for the number of rooms in the hotel, so we had to park on the street where our car was vandalized on the first night. We told the manager what had happened, but weren't even offered any kind of discount, upgrade, or coupon.

I chose this hotel because it says that it offers free breakfast and high speed Wi-Fi. But actually there's no breakfast and the Wi-Fi connection is usually unstable. However, it's still a good choice for visiting Victoria.

The front desk staff was very good. They called after check in to make sure everything was good this is something that has never happened to us in all our hotels and years of travel. I want to commend you for this. Room was very clean, all in order. Well done! Good value. We will come again.

I would rate the Quality Inn Hotel a 10 for overall value. The bed was very comfortable and enough room for two people to sleep comfortable.

Vry impressed during my recent overnight stay at this hotel in downtown Victoria. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful interior and cleanliness of my room, and of the very relaxing pool and steam room. This hotel is right downtown so I could walk everywhere I wanted to go, the rates are excellent and the staff friendly, courteous and professional.

Wow, what amazing value. 3 weeks ago I picked up a brochure on the ferry for this hotel and managed to book at their amazing $65 rate. We were nicely surprised the hotel was great, huge rooms we had 2 queen beds nice but small bathroom everything you would need coffee maker, hairdryer this room was twice the size of any other 3* hotel that we have stayed in Victoria free covered parking and a very adequate continental breakfast (except everything is on paper plates and cups). Fantastic location this hotel is worth whatever rate that you can get its far superior to any other of the same star rating. Book with confidence.
