Review of Delta Hotels 4*

This is an awesome hotel! Our very first time with our 3 year old twins and I was really impressed with the view and the fast service of this hotel! When we arrived the 2 cribs we had requested was available. We found a defect in one of the cribs and they came to replace it within minutes. Also we couldnt figure out the thermostat and requested service to increase the air conditioning and again within minutes, someone came to help. They have a shuttle that will take you to your destination within downtown-very very helpful staff. Also the hotel is located in downtown but in a separate area so you can relax and getaway from the busyness and noise of the area. We enjoyed the 15-20 min walk from all the amenities of downtown Victoria. Their room is spacious! They have a fridge but no lockers in the room so better bring your valuables with you at sll times. Also if you have little kids with you that needs the room dark they have room darkening shades but you do have to add some blockage at the floor level to keep light from entering the room. It's very bright when sunny. We upgraded ours to club level and they included continental breakfast Food is pretty good, usual brekky stuff. They ran out of coffee pretty fast but are also quick to replace. We were in/out of our hotel room, housekeeping didnt get much chance to clean our room right away but when we called n requested they completed it within 2 hours. During booking, the reps were friendly although there were some price differences when we were talking to different staff so really get your info straight. We booked our stay through airmiles so we only had to pay $60/night but if you choose a water view they charge $180/night initially they said $80/night then changed to $120 then $180. Thats with the airmiles so airmiles is pretty worth it as this hotel would prob be around $400-$500night regular price. As for nearby restaurants, lots to choose! If you have smaller kids, try Frankie's modern diner by government st, pretty good for families. Kudos to the managemnt and staff of this hotel. Keep up the good work.
