Fantastic location and super friendly staff.

Ocean Village is the spot to be in when visiting Tofino. Laid back, easy going, central to the area. The room was warm, clean and was definitely a vibe! Thank you so much for the hospitality!

We have stayed here many times — first time about 40 years ago when we brought our hobby cat up from salt spring island to go surfing in the waves. Accommodation was wonderful — two couple — one upstairs one down. Weather was beautiful — beach was great — but no surf that weekend — had a wonderful weekend anyhow. Then about 30 years ago had cousins over from England — brought them up — everything was perfect — accommodation couldn’t have been better. Then twice in the intervening times my husband and I have come for a couple of day getaway. The perfect place to unwind. Love it. Judy kent.

Just got home from my third time staying at this beautiful establishment! Already booking our next visit! I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place, friendly staff, tons of amenities, comfy rooms, and the most gorgeous beach. Pet friendly and lots for kids to do! One of the most magical experiences with my children. Swimming, life size chess, swing, the beautiful ocean, the children's maze, the views, and great staff. We will definitely be going again!

We had an amazing experience in Ocean village. The cabins are so beautiful and comfortable specially the location on ocean front McKenzie beach is so perfect which makes you feel as if you are in heaven. It is kids friendly as we spent 3 nights enjoying bonfire watching waves kids playing. Nice barbeque place. We will definitely go back! What a fabulous place.

We had a fantastic visit in early October. We had a one bedroom cottage right on the oceanfront. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The staff were fantastic. The bonus of an indoor pool and hot tub was a great highlight for our three year old!

I love it here! The cabins are so clean and basic. They are so unique too. You don’t see anything else like it in Tofino. I love that Mackenzie beach is so family friendly too. Fires on the beach are a def perk. I also love how eco friendly the resort is. You can tell they care about using less and being responsible with resources. Staff is really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

Been coming here for the past years! ones or twice per year, best place ever! love it at Ocean village! amenities are great! the facilities are great! the customer service and the maintenance guys and gals are great!

Hotel is very nice the bay that it is located on is very sheltered so it is great for people that want to do water activities as there is very little waves even with wind. We had a lower Suite in one of the A-frame cabins. It was very small and cozy but very clean and had all the amenities you needed. There was no TV in our unit but that was fine being a West Coast holiday just enjoying nature. You can walk to a little area with food ice cream and shopping just down the road. And enjoy the tacofino truck there as well!

I can't believe what is charged for the cabin we are in. 104 don't go there! Tofino is a beautiful place but my expectations of ocean village were higher. We have a laundry next door which apparently is open until 9p. M, no relaxing for us! So angry, only see our son once a year and was looking forward to spending quality time with him here, long way from Portsmouth, Hampshire, should of stayed in vancouver. It's like being a second class citizen in a prison,

Have stayed at a number of different places in Tofino over the years but Ocean Village wins the day. Super cozy and quaint cottages right on MacKenzie Beach and from start to finish it was a first class experience. Would highly recommend!

Incredibly kind and helpful staff. Rooms are extremely clean and the family friendly vibe of the place made us want to stay an extra night with our little one. The staff helped make it happen. Great for chill family beach vibes. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful location on the beach. Wonderful quaint cabins with a little kitchen which makes it perfect for extended stays. Close to Tofino proper for supplies. Only complaint would have is the beach has become very popular with people very loud on it past 10pm. But that is against individuals and not the resort itself which is lovely.

This is my second stay at Ocean Village, my first visit was about 8 years ago and the magic from then prompted the need for new memories. We rented a top floor of one of the cabins overlooking the ocean, we could hear the waves from inside our room. Everything in the cabin is very cute and laid out really well, even though it's a single floor, there is still a lot of room for us to move around and unpack our luggage. The staff here are wicked friendly & pools are kept clean. I totally recommend.

Cozy cabins in a world class setting, we loved our top floor studio everlooking the beach! Though these are technically cabins, they feel like hotel suites. The bathrooms are stocked with soft towels and local Sea Witch brand toiletries, the kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes and cutlery — — as well as delicious complimentary Tofino roasted coffee. We utilized the drawers of our captain's bed to stash our stuff and had plenty of room to lounge on the couch and to hang out on our little deck until we were inspired to back outside and play! The helpful staff gave us good recommendations of places to grab a bite and told us about all of the amenities that the Ocean Village Resort had to offer. Would happily stay here again!

This place deserves no stars due to their terrible customer service. My fiancé and I planned a wedding the weekend of our stay and we needed to cancel our rooms in order to flex to our wedding plans. They were heartless and did not allow us any refund of any kind, during their busiest season when they will definitely get the rooms booked after we cancelled. They even mentioned not wanting to "lose any revenue" during this busy season, making it obvious that money is more important to them than human kindness. Also, this statement is an oxy moron — you make the most money during your busy season so two people needing to cancel two nights would not impact your revenue significantly, considering ALL OTHER cabins were booked those days. Thank you for putting a bad taste in our mouth as we are trying to plan a wedding.

The room we stayed in was beautiful and fit four of us without a problem. Access to a kitchen was a plus for our family too, since we like to make our own food when we travel. We had an amazing view of the ocean right outside the window and we were able to build a little bonfire at the beach only a minute away.

Great place, really nice clean cabins and absolutely beautiful ocean front view. Will definitely book it again. The best part, NO TV.

Absolutely wonderful. No tv. Paradise. You can see ocean from your bed. You can make real on the beach and make your own food in the kitchen.

Love this place! The location and the friendliness of the staff made our trip memorable. Love the little log cabins, super clean and very charming! PLUS they are dog friendly which is a huge bonus.

This is our second time staying at Ocean Village. The cabins are clean and very well taken care of. You just can’t beat the beach front location. We had great weather our first night here and wanted to have a fire on the beach. They put together a little fire kit that was waiting for us when we got back from dinner It was so appreciated, we had a great night!

Nice cottages right by the beach and obviously good service (whenever our friend with whom we went had a question or request for the receptionists — like more coffee or an early checkout — they already had a solution prepared and where nice and relaxed about it). We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

We stayed at Ocean Village during storm season, and the prices were great (the longer you stay the more you save! ). You can't beat being right in front of Mackenzie Beach! It was incredibly dog friendly which is important to us and we were pleased with our cabin and the ocean view! Hope to go again!

Beautiful location with a beautiful view. Cozy suites. Reasonably priced. Easy to get to and a good distance from town and Long Beach. Friendly, and helpful staff. Only minor issue is the slow Wi-Fi. Great resort and would definitely go back.

Lovely cabins on the beach. Everything you read and see on the website is what you get but so much better. Cute cabins (1 stayed in a one bedroom) with a small fireplace, good size kitchen with what you need and a comfy bed.

My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Ocean Village Resort. The cabin was cozy, clean, and steps from the beach, and the staff were lovely and helpful. We've stayed at several places in Tofino and Ucluelet over the past 5 years and Ocean Village Resort will always be on our list in the future. Thanks for the great holiday!

We stayed at Ocean village for a few days and loved it. The small kitchen is well equipped. The cottages are clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

We are so glad we chose Ocean Village instead of one of the more elegant hotel resorts, and I cannot sing enough praises for this place. My husband and I stayed in one of their 1 bdrm cabins, and it was clean, comfortable, and cozy — everything you need to get away from city life. Each cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, which grants us autonomy in our schedule, and complete privacy while enjoying the roaring ocean. The ocean itself was less than 30 feet from the cabin, so you are guaranteed for a front row seat. We enjoyed our visit so much, we are already planning our next visit back here!

We've been going to the Ocean Village Beach Resort since 2006 and love the homey atmosphere of the boat shaped cabins. The pool is great, there's lots of green space for dogs, and it's family friendly. It's only 15 minutes from town by car, and is situated on sandy Mackenzie Beach which makes for great walks and storm watching. 10/10 would recommend giving it a try next time you're looking for accommodation in Tofino.

We loved our stay! Great cabin with a spectacular view, coupled with affordable rates made this one of the best staycations in BC thus far for us. Loved the free toys to explore the private beach. And did I mention the indoor pool?!? Might become a family tradition this place.

Stunning place! The little cottage are perfect: comfortable, and with all you need. A big bathroom with a tub and a little kitchen with anything you need. And the Ocean View is unbelievable. Place where spend a perfect night.

We reserved a second-story suite and were surprised by how charming and homey it was. They supply dishes and utensils to eat and cook with. If you're inclined to make meals when you're on vacation it has everything you'll need (pots and pans too). The staff were sweet and considerate and were willing to help with any issues we had. They have a hot tub and a heated pool. The beach is a stone's throw away. Tacofino, Wildside Grill, and Chocolate Tofino are all within walking distance. And the view is just the best, no matter where you stay at Ocean Village. My wife and I will be coming back next year too.

Perfect little cabins located directly on the beach in a sheltered cove. The cabins have all the things you need to cook delicious meals and are well laid out. Check in desk Staff are very friendly and helpful. It's also close to town and Tofino brewing, helpful for the perfect weekend getaway. These are some of the best self catered accommodations I have ever stayed in. Cannot wait to return!

Wonderful place to be! The sunset here are terrific and the bungalows are very cozy. It's a place to relax and enjoy the life.

LOVE this place! We stayed here over the Labour Day long weekend. The cabins are cute and the perfect size for 2 people or a small family. Pet friendly and ocean front. Every cabin has an ocean view. Small kitchen, fully equipped with dishes, cutlery, pans, etc. Comfy bed and clean. The property is a short drive to Tofino (5-6 minutes). We will be back!

Fabulous spot! From my initial discussion with the resort, arrival, room — everything was very well appointed. The email concierge was great giving us options of things to do in the area including restaurants. Our friends stayed in the suite below us and we were above. Hubby found the bed "stiff", I was fine with the firmness. The amenities were very good. Loved that it was dog friendly on the property and beach area. We took our propane firepit and enjoyed sitting out in the evening. Certainly highly recommend this property while in Tofino. It is also walking distance to Wildside Grill and Tofino Chocolates — both great spots as well.

Resort is clean, staff are friendly and accommodating. Pool is kept extremely clean and is open later on weekends. Loses one star because the beds are not usually made with the room service, seems to depend on who is working that day. Would stay here again, close convenient access to the beach is a plus. Fires until 11pm!

Quaint and cute cabins. Stayed in the upper loft cabins and they are clean and tidy. Housekeeping seems inconsistent though. They always clean up the bathroom and change our towels but it seems to depend on who does housekeeping that our bed sheets gets tucked in. Overall, good place to stay, especially with it being right in front of the Mackenzie beach.

Comfy little cabins with parking available. You can rent extra beach towels, pillows, blankets, and sports gear, if needed. Amenities are clean and well stocked. Staff are friendly and polite. The Mackenzie Beach is also their beautiful backyard where you can stroll along near sunset and light small bonfires. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Check in was easy and we had booked two upper level suites. We weren't sure if they would put us side by side but they were able to accommodate that for us which is a major plus for us. The only downside we have is that they didn't make our bed for us… We left a tip on the bed in hopes they would but housekeeping only changed our towels. Might not tip as much anymore just for someone to come in as change our towels. Overall; 4 stars.

We absolutely adored staying at Ocean Village with our pups for 5 days! The cottages are beautiful, extremely clean, have super comfy beds & everythit you need for a great stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The view is unbeatable & if you are like us & pet friendly is a must you can't go wrong. They have Welcome baskets for your animals & only charge a small fee. It's not extra per dog & a max of $40 regardless or length of stay. The pool & whirlpool were amazing & we …were able to stream the NHL playoffs from our room which was nice sometimes it's hard to find a strong enough Wi-Fi connection but it did the trick. The beach is pet friendly our front & the grounds are so well kept. Definitely don't think twice about booking here. We are so grateful we were able to book in short notice & loved being able to park directly behind the cottage for loading purposes. We can't wait to see you all again & hopefully you are enjoying the lovely tulips The Connolly's.

I love this place! Our little cabin is steps from the beach with an awesome view :) nice pool and hot tub. Super pet friendly and just a great place to relax. I hope to bring my family here one day (on a girl's get away with my sister this time).

This place is awesome! Its been 30 years since my last visit and other than the trees being bigger and the interiors of the cabins being updated. It's still the same cozy majestic place. No TV's still, which is amazing. If you are planning to play video games or stream youtube videos, I suggest you stay home. All the staff here are welcoming and very helpfull, they have games and extra goodies to make the stay comfortable and easy! Going back in a month for storm season, and will be returning whenever I can! Stacker approved! Thank you Ocean Village Resort.

We stayed at this Resort because my wife had stayed there when she was a child. And she had remembered loving it so she wanted me and my daughter to experience it as well. It is very close to the beach and reasonably quiet. We definitely enjoyed our room it was very clean a properly sized the price was reasonable considering what you have and the wait staff was incredibly friendly the pool is also very nice and there is a good hot tub inside the pool house. If we are in Tofino I am sure that we will stay here.

Can't beat cabins right on the beach looking out onto the ocean. While the cabins have remained pretty much the same all the years I have been going they have exactly what you need.

Amazing place! The beds are comfortable and clean, as well as the bathroom. The cabin had a modern feel to it, yet still felt very much like a cabin should. Our cabin was closer to the beach and the view was breathtaking. It was so nice to have the sliding door open and let the ocean breeze in and listen to the waves crashing. The Wi-Fi wasn't super fast but it was consistent. The kitchen is fully stocked — they have all the essentials for making delicious meals. The fridge and stove are big enough. They are very pet friendly which is just amazing, our dog loved every minute of our time there. I loved the foot washing station as it made it much easier to clean his paws before returning to the cabin. The pool is big and the hot tub is big enough for 10 people. I never had to wait to use the hot tub. In short, I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Tofino and enjoy amazing beach views.

Great place to stay while in Tofino. Our family always stays in the resorts on this beach for vacation and the Ocean Village is fantastic. Please keep in mind that they want to keep costs down so be prepared to maintain and clean up after yourself. They have laundry and a very good pool facility. The cabins are nice and maintained well.

My favourite place to stay in Tofino.

I was really counting on the promise that this place has a Wi-Fi as I neded to work in the evenings. But in reality, their Wi-Fi is pathetic and they can't fix it even if you complain. They really let me down with that. The room service is pretty much non-existent too. The only positive aspect is the location, but you'd get the same location if you stay in the tent in the nearby campground for way less $$$.

The hot tub is recently renovated and beautiful!

Beautiful place to unwind and enjoy nature at its best! I was in a lower suite close to the water which afforded lovely views of the sunsets and water activity such as paddle boarders, kayakers and surfers The units could be updated as they are beginning to show their age, but are quite clean.

We stayed in a Lower Studio suite and it was fantastic! The unit had been newly renovated and we found it to be truly perfect! Clean, comfortable, fresh, and had everything we needed — no TV was a bonus! Who needs a TV when you have the Pacific Ocean :) We had a wonderful time playing games and enjoying the piece and quiet. We dined out a couple of times but we enjoy cooking and found the kitchens in the cabins and the communal BBQ to be just right. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, giving great suggestions on trails and beaches and excellent restaurants to eat at. We had a wonderful vacation at Ocean Village and will definitely be back! In the meantime we'll be sure to recommend to friends and family :)

We have stayed here MANY times and LOVE it. Location is perfect, awesome beach and great for kids. The resort is a bit dated and by no means luxurious, but it has a sort of charming rusticness inside the cabins. It is really everything I look for when going away to escape.

Cute, cozy and right on a fantastic beach. We loved these accommodations and can't wait to go back with our family.
