Avoid this hotel at all costs! If I could put a 0 star review I would. Customer service is non existent once they have their money. We ended up staying here for three nights as it was close to the event location we were going to. The check in was alright and the room initially was set up greatly and that’s where the hotel stopped being great. We requested on the second day of our garbages could be emptied and to get a few extra towels but we didn’t need anything cleaned. When we came back at night, no garbages were taken out and new towels just thrown in the bathroom. Then the real issue started on check out. I was charged $565 (our total for the stay) on July 24th when we were checking out. Then, the next day, I got another charge for the same amount. I then went to talk to the hotel on numerous occasions and the story kept changing every time I phoned in. I was then forwarded on to the GM with the issue regarding the double charge. They stated they have no record of this charge on their system for July 24th and are only taking into account July 25th. The hotel said they can’t help so I have to talk to my credit card company. Today is the day I found out that the credit card company cannot help me either as because the charge didn’t occur on the same day they don’t consider that a “duplicate” charge. Fraud department won’t get involved either as when you check into the account, you agree to pay the charges…which I did but there’s nothing they can do.
