We were lucky to have stumbled across this lovely place! The hosts are amazing, the breakfast was beautiful and tasty and different every morning.

New administration has great service. Rooms have been revamped and are perfectly clean. Noisy early morning because of heavy trucks on the street.

Spacious and comfortable, our beddings and linens felt like they're new and the place was very clean. Very pleasant staff.

My partner and I stayed here. We did a last minute trip to Montreal. It was clean, safe, comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and kind. No issue what so ever. I will definitely be coming back!

Room was large enough for my dad and I who had travelled to Ottawa from New Hampshire for a funeral. Room was clean with everything we needed.

I had a good experience here. It's a clean enough private room with a queen sized bed. The staff mainly speak French but he was friendly to me as a woman solo traveller.

Very nice stay at the Auberge in a small rental chalet. Extraordinary place to visit Lake St Jean and combine with a small mountain bike ride.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. It looks bad from the outside but the rooms are freshly renovated.

There were 5 of us in 2 rooms. Both rooms were beautiful. Recently renovated. Extremely clean and very nice. The people running it were also very nice and polite, speaking English to us as well.

Beautiful. Only first day but so amazing.
Soundproofing: not perfect but no noisy neighbors.
Curtains: do keep in mind that yes, the blinds are semi opaque.

Jihane El Ouafi has been very helpful to me and my husband ever since we got to canada she's well manner, taking her time to help me and my husband. Respond to all my emails.

Very large, clean, and comfortable room. Powerful air conditioning. A good alternative to Chateau Montebello, and only a 20 minute walk between them.

We stayed here for three days in a room with kitchenette. The decor was typical Québécois clean and functional, and we felt very comfortable. The scenery outside is incredibly beautiful.

Lots of stairs. No railing.
Not a good place for someone with mobility issues. I usually have none, but I hurt my foot on the stairs and then have them.

We had a wonderful stay at 438 St. François Xavier. We had 2 rooms between our family — a 2 bedroom plus 2 sofas and a two bedroom plus sofa on 2 levels. The rooms were clean and well-appointed.

Living at this building has been a fantastic 5-star experience! The building is always well-kept, clean, and the community is great. What truly makes this place exceptional is the management.
