We visited 2 apartments in this building for an annual rental; A 4 1/2 unfurnished, and a 3 1/2 furnished. The two apartments were dirty, shabby, in bad shape. The bathroom was on the edge of unsanitary. The kitchen, and especially the stove, was in a state of advanced grime. Then when we looked up at the ceiling fixture, we could appreciate the dead cockroaches lying in the ceiling light. I did not lean more on the bedding available in the furnished, lest I find myself nose-to-nose with a colony of bed bugs.
In short, to flee.

Stay Away! My boyfriend has rented an apartment in 1650 Boul. Rene Levesque west. The management is awful, and the manager (Daniel Li) is the biggest liar, I have seen in my life. First of all, their place rented for long and short term throw airbnb. So you wont find peace there, because those apartment were rented for short term, there were many people in and out, and the visitors throw the parties up to midnight and they make a lots of noise and there is nobody in office you can complain about the massive noise! About long term, the owner just want to sign the lease. Please pay attention: If you want to sign the lease: First the electricity bill never comes less than a $100 per month in winter. However, the manager lies about the bill and always says the hydro bill will cost only $50 bi monthly. Moreover, they never fix any problems that occur in your apartment and you should pay for any repair. Furthermore, the owner never listen to complain. The building is very dirty and people who works in the office they are not supportive, and most of the times they are so rude. The washer and drier are more more than other buildings in downtown. You should pay $2.25 for washing and $2 for drier in total $4.25 and you will see your clothes are still dirty. The management is very poor and rude, and if for any reason you have a problem with them, they will de-active your apartment entry door and you wont access to your apartment and you have to call to the police.

Dirty and smelly carpets in all the hallways.

Eh, dated and could use work. Rooms, hallway, and elevator are very run down. The area is very central to everything you'll need in the city.

Frankly, this hotel is the worst of all. The staff at the front desk is rude, we my hang more than 3 times because I do not speak English. They mount collected money and more, a week before my arrival date. It is the last of the hotels.

It's good but the elevator smells bad.

It was nightmare. Never ever rent an apartment there! The landlord is unhelpful, rude and aggressive. He only cares about money and would not willing to do anything for you. I feel insulted and humiliated. He is a racist! Not sure how this place stay in business. The room and hobby are dirty, shady and smelly. It is so hard to reach the landlord. The pics and website are not true. I feel completely ripped off.

This place is like a hell. The owner is careless person, and only care about money. The people who working in office are not friendly. Moreover, their information about the room and facilities is not correct. The internet service provided by them is even worse than dailup (so slow). The rooms, Lobby, and halwayes are not clean. The security of the place also is very poor. I have seen a lot of people they were complining about it. Please don't accept thier wrong information by phone or website. The picture in ad is not the real one.

Worst place to live. Owners are not accommodating at all. Unclean sheets, dirty rooms, no A/C, super bad service.

I have lived there during my christmas last year, I think the manager is a nice person, and he helped us a lot in traveling information in the region of montreal.
