The motel is situated near the shore. Half the rooms have a great view of the St Laurent. There is a restaurant near the shore within walking distance from the motel.

This hotel was great. The man at the desk is very nice, and bilingual. The room was decorated nicely, and was big. It was VERY clean. The fridge was ice cold. There’s even a rocking chair in the room. The property is very big, and well kept. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

I got a nice welcome and they really seem to put some personal touches in taking care of the place. The view from the room I got was nice and we could see the river. There is no AC but there was a fan in my room, which is very good (I don't like opening windows as I hear everything outside and I'm sound sensitive). The only inconvenience might be the very small bathroom and the tiny shower, but otherwise everything else was good. Recommended!

Stayed here last year. Had no problems, was booked by the man whom I thought to be the owner, allowed us to bring our puppy with no issues. This year we attempted to do the same, and a horrible woman who clearly was annoyed with the fact we were Anglo was telling us straight up lies that they don’t allow pets and were not interested. This place blows now.

Amazing customer service! We ran into a snag and Luc took care of things for us. We will definitely book again the next time we head to the east coast!

The room its clean and beautiful and the fun saw Kan jgo to se Motel jtake whale cruise package AML SA worth it. But for Wi-Fi I do not know if do long that the Kan JI was had no access to Wi-Fi. For the rest Jaime well go there for the view.

I had a lovely stay at Motel Loupi! The staff were so friendly, the rooms were quaint and cozy, my room had a beautiful view, and the price was reasonable! :D Altogether, a wonderful experience.

Beautiful views and nice accommodations. Nice clean rooms and nice washrooms. There is a path close to the water that you can follow out to a small peninsula which is a lovely walk. A lovely place for families to stay.

A few of us were on a motorcycle road trip coming back from the Cabot Trail to Hamilton and took a 2 night rest at this motel. Very clean rooms, but what really got all of us in our group was the hospitality of the owner. He went above and beyond any other hotel/motel we stayed at to make us feel welcome. There is no restaurant at the motel, but is withing a 2 minute drive or a short walk to several in the area. I had bike problems, and he was able to point us in the right direction to have my bike looked after. He basically treated us as family. We had such a relaxing time during our stay along with the great views from the balcony, I would highly recommend this place to any one, and will definitely stay there again when going through the area.

My husband and I stopped at Motel Loupi overnight during our honeymoon road trip from Ontario to Newfoundland. We loved everything. It is clearly well taken care of by the owners who put lots of work into the property. Everything was perfect for us as a couple overnight. I can see tall or plus sized people having a hard time with the bed or the amenities because a lot is incorporated into a small space. My husband says overall it was great, very little fuss and only cost $100. Would recommend.

Great price, very easy check-in, no trouble coming and going as we pleased, basic amenities covered. Works for me. I'd recommend this quirky motel :)

Such a wonderful place… classic motel with lovely hosts. Man they work hard… the place is spotless and charming with rambling gardens and great views!

Nice view, great room and services. On the other hand, already that the principle of free a room at 11: 00 seems early but that usually hotels are very tolerant about it, but call a quarter of an hour before from the reception to know when do you intend to leave seems disrespectful.

Ended up at motel Loupi when our car broke down during a road trip from Toronto to Halifax. It was one of the best experiences we ever had, great service, great room a great place overall. Mr Genereaux, the owner is a kind man who helped us by lending his auto to us so we could get around the town. We want to thank him and his hospitality, we will visit again. A really beautifull location and very clean, loved it, cant get it out of my mind.

Don't get confused by the 2 stars awarded to this motel. Myself, I was expecting to the dingy. I rather found in the welcoming, the comfortable and relaxing. The welcome is warm and made by the owners of the motel that knows the area very well and will help you to complete your stay activity. The rooms are clean, quiet and the beds are comfortable. The room is tidy. Of course, this isn't the vast room at a 5 star but to sleep, watch TV, snack and take a shower, it is good. I was surprised by the magnificent view. A gazebo, a swing with table, children's games, a giant game of Lady and even a spa were offered in court. I did not expect for a motel 2 stars! He deserves more! In short, I recommended Motel Loupi everyone who will make a stay at Rivière-du-Loup. Besides, if want you to go on excursion to the whales on the seas (cruise AML) jumpers. You have to ask the owners that will plan you everything in a blink of an eye.
