Great service, breakfast and clean spacious rooms close to the St Lawrence River.

Well located. Home staff correct. Clean places to improve. Lunch included.

It wouldn't be my first choice if I go back to Brockville.

The floor was so dirty our feet were black. The sheets and the toilet seat were stained. Told the teller and they just said thanks for telling us, we'll look into it. To top it all off, there were bugs. We were very disappointed to start our vacation at this hotel. Hope that other people have a better experience.

The office staff are great. Very attentive. Establishment could really use a thorough upkeep but more so an upgrade. The pool needs a facelift. The electrical requires immediate upgrade. The floors need to be soap washed more frequently. Our feet and socks were so black. We couldn't believe the color of my feet walking from the shower to the bed. My grandsons white socks were so black. They do serve a very nice complimentary breakfast. Coffee in the room is delicious. Very convenient location. Just out of town. 5 minutes to an extremely must see UNDERGROUND TUNNEL. We'd definitely go back.

Clean room. No stinky old carpets! Breakfast hours are a little short. Price on Saturday night of this past Civic holiday was high. Fairly friendly staff. Cleaning Crew was awesome!

This was our first time staying at a Super 8 & definitely the last. Our experience with this place was dreadful. I could not wait to leave. The lobby was nice, clean, and airy but our room was absolutely DISGUSTING. The room had a very musty smell kinda like a gutter. The washroom exhaust fan also looked like it was NEVER cleaned. Someones pants were on the washroom floor. Very poor workmanship. Stains on the walls. Dirty stained bedding. There was a dead fly on the wall as well. The staff has done a good job maintaining the lobby but the room needs work. I would not advise anyone to stay at this location. I don't know how the other ones are because we always stay at Holiday inns but this time around they were all booked.

The room we had was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent. I think for a Sunday it was way overpriced.

We stayed at the Super 8 this summer after having a problem with another booking. 11 nights of being treated like family — the staff went above and beyond for us and our two small children, and whilst you'll not get champagne with your breakfast, you'll get a happy smile and everything you need at a reasonable price. I'd be back in a heartbeat.

Location was good. Room was renovated so it was cleaner than it looks from the outside. Pool was not filled with water at the time I stayed there.

This place is a horrifying hole. Avoid at all costs. I was in my room being choked by car exhaust for over 30 minutes by two trucks outside my room idling. I asked the duty manager to ask the drivers to please turn their engines off. She was not effective and the idling continued. I eventually asked them to turn their engines off, then a bunch of big construction guys started yelling at me and threatening me. I am 65. I felt unsafe. To the point that I called the Brockville police, who claimed no jurisdiction for this area. To avoid further confrontation, I packed and left. The duty manager asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, and I said sure. He appeared and yelled at me, threatened me too. A vile human being. Fortunately a cab appeared quickly and took me to another hotel. Disgusting behaviour at super 8 wyndham. Such unprofessional treatment, that I will be making a formal complaint to Wyndham, for what that is worth.

Very clean very comfortable beds. Close to downtown. Had a nice breakfast before heading home. Overall very nice stay.

Room was clean but cold to start however the a. C. In the room sorted that out quick. Parking was ok and the staff were nice. The only big let down was the breakfast which consisted of cold boiled eggs and toast.

Although this motel is an older building the room was up to date and clean. Everything was as expected, a very nice continental breakfast was served and the rate we paid was very reasonable. This was a good choice and we would stay here again.

For all the positive comments on Google Maps there was this 'Dear guest we thank you very much for your feedback' feedback.
On the contrary, for all the negative ones, theit reaction is to either ignore them or to show bad attitudes back at the customers.
There is something not right, then.
This is only a comment on public relations, not the actual hotel room (which is 3 star) and hotel staff (5 star)

The staff didn't greet me when I checked in and out. There wasn't a warm welcome when I came with my kids. I found the guest nicer than the actually staff at Super 8. When I went into my room, I was about to take a shower and found a nice long curly hair in the tub. They obviously didn't clean the tub thoroughly. But for the price what do you expect right? I went to a motel 20 mins away from super 8 last year. They charged cheaper and customer service was way better as well as the room. I wouldn't have considered this place, but after a 6 hour road trip with two kids you find the closest hotel to your family…

Impeccably clean, modern room. Included a fridge, microwave. There was an abundance of lighting. Heat worked very well. Bathroom was modern with a nice deep tub, and very clean. Bed was very comfortable with good quality linens.

Easy to reach location. Nice clean rooms. Employees were polite.

Great service from friendly staff, and the room was cleaned thoughly during our two night staff. The continential breakfast has great variety with something for all of us (especially my daughter who is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts.

It was amazing the only thing I didn't like was the breakfast didn't let u take back to your room…

Friendly staff, and I got a free room upgrade which was very nice. The motel has an outdoor pool and seems to be in a great location. The breakfast isn't anything fancy, but it has everything you'd want to get your day going. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Staff was very kind and helpfull. Room was lovely. Matress and bedding were very nice. Nice breakfast nook.

For the price, it can't be beaten. Very cheap, reasonably big rooms, clean, and comfy beds, with free parking. What more can you ask for?

We stayed there several times with our 2 dogs. Was ok for a pit stop to Montreal which we do often. But last week we stayed there again but they charged me an extra 50$ because apparently I lied and didn't inform them that I had 2 dogs. This was never an issue before as it states pet — friendly and we were never charged extra before. Charging extra is not what pisses me off… it's sneaking it in after I checked out because I lied to them… lol. You can't hide your dogs there morons and I never tried to hide them. I walked them around in front of reception… At least tell me that I will be charged extra for "lying" … Never going back there.

Just enough for one night… it helps!

Not really a Super 8 Standard. Dirty, defective, missing remote control for tv, missing towels etc.
Not recommend. Never again.

Rudely yelling at your customers for a simple inquiry of water was inexcusable from the beginning but the escalation to the point of lying about serious accusations like abuse was just unbelievable… Was originally okay for a day or two until the owner did not appropriately respond to our inquiry for cold water at breakfast, which happened to not be labeled and next to a sign that only said hot water. Once the conversation escalated, only then did he bring up that we did not leave the breakfast area right at 9:30 even though we were just finishing up a conversation quietly and respectfully and the sign for breakfast times was hidden behind the front desk. He also mentioned that because of us sitting at a table (on the far opposite end of the kitchen) a few minutes past 9:30, we were costing him a lot of electricity. None of this made any sense, and any respectful inquiries or us trying to understand him and explain his accusations were responded to in a rude and hostile manner which included yelling and false accusations of "abuse" and "beatings" by us within the same morning breakfast hour, which obviously did not happen. When we began recording him on video, he sat behind his desk yelling "abuse". The owner then threatened to kick us out and call the police. We had video evidence and witnesses and unfortunately police could not help us and suggested we find another place to stay. If you can help it, do not stay here.

Great hotel, the lady working was super nice. It's a great town aswell. And the hotel is right on the water.

I have stayed at this place twice and recently in July. This is the "old style" motel we all remember from the drives with our parents. The pool in front on the building is inviting, a nice breakfast is included. The place is fully renovated and is kept very clean. The owner lives on site and is very friendly and helpful. If you bring Fido along, they are per friendly. Great place a few minutes drive from the beautiful downtown Brockville.

Good place with a nice warm pool. Breakfast is not as good as some others but still not bad. Comfortable beds.

Clean, lack a little maintenance, but for the price: nothing to say. A well-deserved rest on a long road.

Great price for a quiet room, breakfast is included, there are a few restaurants, especially of the pizzeria in downtown. The staff was very friendly. The room was not too airy, it smelled a bit musty but otherwise very comfortable bed and clean bathroom.

The room was well priced, the bed was comfortable, the decor was nice. They have free breakfast until 9:30. The only problem is the room was cold because the windows are old, but once we turned on the heating it got better.

Clean, accessible and well furnished rooms. The staff is courteous and the price is right for an overnight stay. Room was a bit cold but the heater quickly fixed that.

I enjoyed my stay immensely. There was a beautiful river view from my suite. The continental breakfast was terrific.

Stay there 2-3 times per year when visiting family… great rates… friendly hosts… rooms standard size for a budget hotel and we'll equipped. Did not try the breakfast so cannot comment.

I paid $275 for 5 days and the room is modern and new. Don't know where those negative reviews came from but the pictures on the website are dead on. Great place.

The room did not look anything like the pictures on the website at least mine didn't. Breakfast is only until 930 which is the first I've ever seen. Always to at least 11. Front desk tried to persuade me not to bother with the breakfast which was not bad. Hmmm maybe trying to save on his food cost?

Comfortable room, great beds, staff was friendly. Pool area was nice, but not fancy. Breakfast was simple but plenty, with make-yoyr-own waffles.

Some how they've managed to put clouds in their beds. Rooms are really nice and the bathrooms are clean. I'd stay here again if I was ever passing through.

After my wife accidently booked online through Expedia, which didn't include what should have been my corporate rate, the hotel said there was nothing they could do as Expedia did not have a good cancellation policy. I called Expedia and they were perfectly happy to refund our money with the hotels permission (I was going to go back and pay the hotel directly after my refund from Expedia). After I was put on hold they came back and said the hotel manager refused the refund. I went to the front office asked to speak to the manager and was told he was not in and but would be "some time tomorrow" even though he seemed to be available for the call from Expedia. I am very hopeful that this will be resolved and I can give a better review but as of right now my experience has been unacceptable. AND I haven't even mentioned the two giant silver fish (one in our bed! ), how black our feet were from walking on the floors, how there was an uncleaned coffee filter left in our coffee machine and how we found out we can't use the TV and the microwave at the same time after we blew a fuse. This is our experience so far. I hope I can update with a better response before my stay is over. Oh I forgot: it takes about nine tries before our keys will open the door and the Wi-Fi connection is terrible at best.

Super 8 Brockville Visited this hotel August 7, 2013 with two other couples. It has removed all signing (Best Western) and is soon to join the Super "8" chain of Hotels. This building is getting old but to management's credit, repairs/replacements have been made to flooring, TV's, and mattresses. The room was spacious, had a small refrigerator and was very clean. Staff both at the desk and during complimentary continental breakfast were polite, jovial and informative. The hotel is situated on County Road (Hwy #2) to the South/East of town and runs directly west into King Street (the City Hub for Brockville Arts Centre and better restaurants (Buell St. Bistro/The Mill). An outdoor pool was well maintained, no onsite supervision, but was comfortable and a decent size. Overall this facility is a good choice for families and business travelers alike. I would visit again and recommend to fellow vacationers. Musty smell which sometime accompanies these older buildings seems to have been somewhat eliminated with the new wood panel flooring and quiet operating A/C unit. Garnett (Orleans) Room Tip: Rooms in back, under the Arch would seem to be more quiet and still accessible to Dining Room and Po.

Had a very enjoyable stay during my bike ride across Ontario. Would stay there again and everything worked well in my room. Great bed, fast internet so no compaints. Allowed to bring my bike into the room and manager gave me a ride back to town to have some tire replaced on my back wheel. Thank you sir. Timing was perfect and because of your help I was able to leave early in the morning. Enjoyed your breakfast and it was plenty. Hotel busy being renovated. Very pleasant staff. Will come back and have recommend your Inn to bikers I met on the road. Frank Gelling July 2013.
