Very nice clean place to stay.

Great place for the money, been staying here for 20yrs.

This is our go to resort when we come to Lauderdale by the sea. Two pools, beach is extremely close. Owners are extremely nice, rooms are very clean. Highly recommend a stay.

We had a wonderful time at Shore Haven and would definitely return. The owners are so accommodating and friendly, the grounds are beautiful and our room was so spacious with a kitchen and right next to the pool! Loved the jacuzzi too! Walking distance to everything. Will come back!

We were received here very friendly by the owners. Coffee is available in the small lobby. The rooms were habitual but clean. There is a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The garden and the pool are constantly maintained. We felt very comfortable there.

What a fabulous place to stay! I didn't know what to expect and my expectations were exceeded! Friendly, hard working staff who made me feel relaxed, safe and at home. The owner was always making sure it was clean and nice. Spectacular valentines spread and kindness was appreciated. Close to everything for walking. Loved the personal touch of a small non chain resort. Thanks!

We stayed here a few years back. What struck me when I first saw it was how charming it was. Somewhat vintage Florida. Not saying it was old and run down, the complete opposite. Very clean and well maintained with a "Welcome Home" feel. Right on a street, but nestled in the trees and foliage making you feel secluded and private. I highly recommend Shore Haven. Give them a shot, you wont regret it!

We have 2 conjoined rooms, they are completely disgusting! The doors to enter the room do not close completely, when we walked in there were bugs in both rooms, the bathrooms are so nasty, black floors and the water goes from freezing cold to burning hot! The room is hot because the tiny wall unit is not big enough to cool the room. The mirror doors are not on completely and swing in and out instead of just sliding, it wound up slamming on my two year old. The pool is super tiny and everyone you come in contact with it rude. Don’t stay here.

Great location — walk over the road to the beach. Plenty of parking, wide choice of local restarants. Self catering is good here with local supermarket & pharmacy walking distance.

The owners son was nice and very accommodating and they have a 24 hour pool and our first night was greay and the room was ok but they next day we had to switch rooms and the second room was a small efficiency but it smelled like mold and mildew every morning my daughter and I will up with a migraine. After requesting to change rooms the owner said I should find another hotel and I was informed the next day at the last minute we had to leave because they were sold out.

An unforgettable experience-so much so k the booking was until the other day and we went in the early morning, very old with a very bad smell to old or dirty and the price or talk about the jacuzzi I just hope not to get a parasite through the water pork apparently does a lot of the time k does not give maintenance or cleaning to nothing in this place k is worth the only good thing is the location.

I got to stay here for a swimming training trip and overall had a positive experience. It was nice having small kitchens in our rooms, which allowed me to prepare my own meals instead of having to eat out every night. Staff mainly kept to themselves and I didn't have too many interactions to speak of with them. Towels and toiletries were delivered when we asked and on a semi-regular basis. I stayed in one of the smaller rooms (2 twins beds for 4 people) so my review might not be the most unbiased for those seeking to stay here for a vacation.

Some rooms are cramped and a little untidy, but the place overall is perfectly acceptable. Lots of fun here with pool and hot tub.

My family had stayed here for years… it's the only place they stay when they are visiting. Great location… beautiful views … well kept grounds with sparkling clean pools. A wonderful place to stay in Lauderdale by the sea.

Been staying here for the past 3 days in room 135 — my experience has been super positive. Location is great, rate is reasonable and consistent, and the owners/management are very accommodating and all of them have been lovely in our interactions so far. Room looks nice, modern, tidy — — love having a full kitchen as well and full refrigerator. No complaints, this is one of the best if not the best lodging experience I've ever had. Would def. Recommend to anyone.

This is an excellent place for families at a great price most rooms have kitchens so you can cook your own food very convenient everything is within walking distance the owners are great The area is Awesome with plenty of dining and entertainment options very safe clean and beautiful. The property is beautifully landscaped it has two swimming pools and a jacuzzi.

The rooms were booked for the whole family to spend the july 4th weekend and we were kicked out at noon on Saturday citing there were too many people, 4 rooms were rented and the max amount of 4 people/room rule was followed. They want only 8 people at a time at the pool (despite of several rooms being vacant) mgr came on Saturday at noon to "check the pool ph" and ordered everybody out. Really? Very antisocial mgr, anti-hispanic even told one of the women to shut up because he was talking to the men. To work in the hospitality business there is concerning lack of people skills and customer service, at least he gave us 30 minutes to leave in exchange for our money. So much for my 3 month old baby first vacation.

Arthur and Adam are great. Perfect location. Love the outdoor seating. Just enough of everything to make your Lauderdale-By-The-Sea trip very memorable and priced to be an excellent value for this location.

For the price you certainly cannot beat this hotel. The owners are extremely accommodating and the staff do a good job. The location is perfect and that is why my wife and I come here twice a year.

There was a group of 12 of us from Prince Edward Island Canada. This place is awesome close to everything beach shopping rooms are quite comfortable very roomy staff are very friendly pool is great only complaint would be lounge chairs around pool need to be replaced. Having said that though there are tons of beach chairs available to use for beach which was very nice.

Just got back from a stay at the Shore Haven Resort. What a wonderful place! Perfect location in a great little beach town, lush landscaping around the pools, clean rooms. Just a short walk to beaches, restaurants and bars. Owners here really care about their guests. They made our stay relaxing and we will definitely return. This is not a five star high rise hotel, but more of a retro throwback to the 1960s. We loved it!

The shore haven resort inn is a disgrace of a hotel that we found after being denied a room at the nearby holiday inn. Having no other choice, we decided to stay there for the night, it would end up being one of the worst decisions of my life. The inn had 3 giant signs that were conveniently blocking 3 of the only parking spots left. After meeting the 400lb clerk and checking in, we walked past the dirt and leaf filled pool which was surrounded by a friendly beer can shrewd pool deck to our hotel room. Along the way we saw a happy gentleman smoking loads cigarettes and drinking a handle of captain by himself. Finally when we reached our room we observed a drunk middle aged woman sprawled on the ground. We asked her if she was alright and she said that she had been locked out of her room and was waiting to be let in. After that encounter, we opened the door to our suite and immediately noticed a faint bizarre odor coming out of the vents. The beds were hard as cock and the other furniture had stains and the sheets and pillows had holes and were discolored. The mini fridge didn't have any drinks or snacks, which was probably a good thing considering the piss poor condition of the room. The only channel the TV got was some latino telemundo soap opera and the remote was coated in a sticky substance that sent me running to the sink where I washed my hands for an hour.

Convient location to every where was able to check in early every one was nice. Room was clean would recommend and go back price was good too.

Perfect spot! Clean and cozy. Gives a caribe an or Key West vibe. Beautiful scenery. Everything is in walking distance. Just as simple as can be. Not overly done.

I have stayed at Shore Haven numerous times over the past several years and absolutely love it! The price for the location and room size is unbeatable. It is comfortable and family oriented, with many units having kitchenettes so it is convenient to prepare meals. There are several stores within walking distance and also 2 minutes to the beach! It is basic, clean and comfortable but not a luxury hotel. I would rather stay here than anywhere else while in LBTS.

How often noticed the Interior came in the years (and the climate does its part), negative review will I therefore however does not. This accommodation does not at any time for each is likely suitable for us (with three teenagers, July, 12 days), it was ideal. In the village, close to the beach and the swimming pool in front of the door.
Our rooms were incidentally, tiled and fitted with new flat screen TV. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked, towels were renewed every day and it has been thoroughly cleaned (also the grounds). I felt the staff (reception/cleaning) was very friendly and obliging.
Conclusion: Five stars mean "excellent", I would not go that far. But the price / performance ratio has voted and we probably felt.

Only giving one star because ZERO is not an option. This was our second time to Shore Haven, and definitely our last! Adam Franczak, the surly owner, is inhospitable and down right rude. We checked in, went to diner and when we arrived back in our room to relax, we pulled back the bed sheets to find BUGS. Not one bug but multiple, and not any kind of bug I'd ever seen before. When we made Adam aware of the situation, he seemed un-rattled and unapologetic, saying we could move rooms or have a discount. We looked at the other room, on the second floor, in even shabbier shape and asked if we could just have fresh sheets and possibly an exterminator the next day. When Adam, arrived back at our room to bring a balled up mass of linen, he asked me to check the surrounding area to make sure everything was to our standards. When I started to do as he asked, he became antagonistic, stating "You are professional at checking for bugs, eh? " and then simply told me this was "Unacceptable" and "I will refund you, you go! " We asked who the owner was, and he DOWNRIGHT LIED TO US, saying he was just the manger, the hotel was corporate owned. Adam, have you heard of Google? I have been in the hospitality industry for almost 15 years and this manager (owner) is the most grizzly, apathetic, inhospitable human being I have had the displeasure of coming in contact with.

Great price for the service and the location.
