The hotel is very nice and clean. The staffs were friendly. The breakfast was fantastic and full of variety of choices. If your room is on the ground level, the parked cars are right outside of your window. It may not be comfortable for everyone. The hallways' noise can be loud as we heard people walked by and talking loudly at 11pm at night. The location is great because it is walking distance from downtown Sudbury. But there's no side walk or crossing until much further. So walking around was inconvenient and somewhat dangerous.

Extreme storm coming to Sudbury that day. Check in was rough as all computers down. Friendly staff, kind people, poor wheelchair accessible doors, no ramps. Server in diner was very good. Room and beds are nice. Coffee maker and room coffee poor. Location good. Thanks Lexington.

Service was great. Wifi strong. Gym had basics however it is better then some hotel gyms. Room was clean. Kids loved breakfast!

Great hotel. Stayed here on a road trip across Canada. Staff was very helpful. Beds and rooms were clean and comfortable. Buffet style breakfast was fantastic.

They will change your rate if you stay more than one night. You'll sign for one rate and they'll charge whatever they want the next night. They call it a fluctuating rate. Their conference rooms are old and only provide one tiny garbage can for a room of 30 people so garbage is always overflowing. Booked a loud fitness class next to an important business meeting. Gym needs serious updating.

Great stay and great breakfast. This ain't no crappy quality hotel/super 8 breakfast. Just wish it was a bit more soundproof. Was up until 2am due to rowdy neighbors.

The hotel is not so bad. Pretty clean, even if they could do better… at least polish water taps and scrub the tub a little harder. The rooms are newly renovated. Don't try the restaurant, it is very expansive and the food is not good.

It was full of contractors and workers. Little far from the centre of town but still doesn't effect your stay. Everything was clean and staff was friendly.

Parking was available free of charge. The conference room and hall area was clean and set up nicely.

Clean room. Great restaurant. Lots of parking. Polite receptionists. Lots lights in the room. Bed is clean and firm. However like almost all the other hotels the TV is difficult to operate and no Fox news.

Great hotel, reasonable prices. Staff are excellent, so friendly and accommodating. The food is absolutely fantastic, again? reasonably priced. It is a little dated but everything else makes up for it.

Beautiful renovations have been completed. Staff is truly amazing. I 100% recommend this place both for hosting events and overnight stays.

Well maintained. Very quiet. Simple accommodation for a short stay. Not great for kids or entertainment.

Definitely would not recommend staying here. I was here alone for one night on December 19, 2017 for work. The place is not very inviting from the outside and looked like a motel from 1950’s. I’ve never been to Sudbury before and when I checked in at 3PM, I asked the guy at the front desk what there was to do around town as I was free for the rest of the night. He shrugged his shoulders and said “not really much”. I said I’d like to see something around town and he replied “I can’t think of anything, there’s not much to do around here”. He was as inviting as the outside of the hotel. Once I entered the room I was pleasantly surprised that it was quite modern and mostly renovated. (The photos of the rooms is why I booked here). The room was spacious with a nice desk and a couch in the room. The TV didn’t work, which I noticed right away, so I called the front desk and asked for help. The same guy came to the room within a minute or two. Told me this room has always had trouble with the TV and said it is the worst room. I hadn’t unpacked yet so I asked to be moved to a room with a working TV, to which he then said all the rooms TVs are no good and I should complain to management as he’s brought it up many times with them but they won’t fix anything… again, this guy was really selling Sudbury and the hotel! He did get the TV working after about 5 minutes of fiddling with it and unplugging/plugging in multiple times.

This is my second multi-night stay at this location. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations but that has not detracted from my stay. Breakfast is included and, while it's nothing special, I appreciate the convenience.

Great experience. Staff were friendly, polite, and always helpful. Rooms and general hotel were modern, and well decorated. Breakfast buffet was well done, and staff were always on hand.

Quiet and clean. Above average included hot breakfast. Excellent room size. Bathroom quite small. Friendly staff. Would recommend.

Very good Brunch buffet with almost everything a person would care to eat and at a reasonable price. Seating for the whole family and a wonderful display of desserts. Definitely a wonderfull place to go for Sunday brunch.

Going through Reno's which can prove inconvenient but they're almost done. Definetly worth the Reno, clean rooms, great mattresses, good food. Recommend.

Their beds are like sleeping on a cloud it was awesome! They were under a bit of construction but could hardly tell because it didn't get in the way of anything. Breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious. Front desk staff was super friendly. Bar staff was great. Over all would definitely recommend.

Room is very nice and the price is quite reasonable. Staff has been super awesome. The food is unexpectedly great! In vacation with 2 kids.

The welcome was good and the hotel is clean with clean and beautiful rooms. The issues we had were; 1) the exhaust of the washroom wasn't working and hence every time someone took shower or went to washroom, the place got filled up with water vapor and/or smell. 2) second issue was of the morning breakfast. We were told the breakfast will go on from 7-10. We went down to get breakfast around 9:15 and they already ran out of bagels, bread slices, muffins and fruits. The only thing available to eat was scrambled eggs and friend potato pieces. I was going to give 4/5 but after the disappointment of breakfast the rating went down to 3/5 for me.

The room was a good size and clean. The breakfast wasn't that great unfortunately but the service made up for it. Really nice staff and clean hotel. We were there over the Canada Day long weekend, and seemed like only a few rooms were taken, so it was pretty quiet.

Clean, helpful personal. Will need a rejuvenation in the next few years.

Went to the conference room for a conference. Nice room! Easy to find thanks to the door leading to outside beside the entrance of the room. We came in from the main entrance and the lady at the front desk was kind enough to give us easy directions to find the room. My only complaint is that it was so damn cold! The ac was full blast on a night that wasn't ridiculously hot either!

I spend about half of my time on the road in hotels and this was one if the best experiences I have had. The staff were friendly and responsive. The bed was extremely comfortable and the full leather sofa in my room was wonderful. Add to that a full breakfast buffet with eggs bacon and french toast and this has earned a must stay again flag on my list. Outstanding.

Lounge area was cofterble place for meeting strangers publiy (kijiji, rental agreements etc)

Decent Howard Johnson. Enjoyed the breakfast. Service was quick and the HoJo was the only place that was not fully booked. $82 for two twin beds.

We paid $99 for one nights stay in October 2015. The rate was very competitive with others in town. We were coming in to see my daughter play volleyball at Boreal and Cambrian. The location was very central and easy enough to find. The breakfast was fine if only a bit typical. The staff and hotel were very accommodating with a later than usual check out request which was wonderful for our plans. The hotel has been around for a while and areas within it, starting to show it's age. (doors, carpets and bath) but it didn't affect the stay. There was a wedding in the hotel the night of our stay and some of the guests were dealing with some alcohol induced drama when we were heading to bed for the night. The front desk worked very quickly to calm them down and we slept very well following the outburst. The beds were comfortable and the room temperature perfect. All in all a pleasant stay and I would recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable short stay.

$61 cad great beds awesome breakfast fast internet nice staff. Baths need bit updating.

Very clean. Very good service but you might have to reactivate your cards a few times if you stay 3 or 4 days lol pain in the butttt but just a detail.
