It's a clean sophisticated feelinh type hotel/long term stay apartment-style hotel. The bed was ridiculously comfy.

I feel compelled to write a review as I often read reviews from others before buying a service. I was a recent long-term resident at this hotel due to a relocation. It is very safe and very quiet. It is definetely not ghetto. It's like having your own apartment with everything you need inside, including laundry. Very modern appliances. Bed very comfy. You get what you pay for. Sure, another place may have been cheaper, but on the other hand, you may not get the same level of services. It is VERY CLEAN! I am a germaphob and I had no worries here. The staff is nice, but they like to charge your credit card without your knowledge which is very impolite. The property is in a good location. Near the otrain, near the hospital, near Highway 417 / Airport Parkway and major routes to get to any point in the city which was perfect for me as not everyone needs to be in the heart of downtown. Very good location. It's a shared building with private residences, which is what I liked because there were not a lot of transients. Besides the credit card issue, my only beef was that the room tended to be drafty and was on the ground floor, which wasn't as advertised as I was expecting a higher floor based on pictures I saw. Overall, I give this a 5/5. I needed a safe, clean and comfortable place to stay close to major Ottawa roadways and this met my requirements.

My personal experience is extremely honest and straight forward. I was visiting Ottawa for the Grey Cup. While the place was clean I can tell you that the staff will NOT go the extra mile to help you. Basically you are your own I suffered a head injury because the shower rod hit my head and made me bleed profusely. Guess what member of the staff says we are not liable but I can call you a cab or a ambulance. That's not help at all. They were more concerned with me checking out by 12 noon and running my AMEX card than helping me. My recommendation is you want someplace clean it will serve a need however if you seek help from their supposed to be "friendly" staff than good luck. I can honestly tell that they are more concerned with keeping their jobs than helping you. If you have a disagreement with them trust me from personal experience they will NOT help you. I grade the overall service a C or D. Clean room but service stinks good luck. I would choose another option if I were you.

Fantastic place to live. Concierge service, amenities, along with the look and feel of the condo building is great. Unfortunately, a restricted view facing north because of the Envie building, as well as future plans to build another tower right beside it. The construction is unbearable, but not at the fault of Soho. Highly recommend living here when the blasting and drilling is done, and you are facing south or east.

Poor sound proof, poor insolation of the windows or the heater is not working well, and the construction noise will last at least 2 years (everyday starting at 7 am and including weekends)
Stuff very friendly though, and design is really well done.

Excellent service for the price. We stopped here for few days, Extremely clean. (8am-4pm. Noise from construction site). : (

My friend and I rent a condo for a week end and it was a very pleasant expérience. I like the luxury of the hall, the size of the appartement, the look, the confort bed, the decoration. I was reaaly a beautiful discovery.

I've rented a condo in this building from July 2015 to July 2016. HONESTLY, there have been no end of problems. From one month to the next, there was always something, either with the appliances, the parking, etc. For something supposedly high end, I do not feel like this was remotely worth it. Sorry. I have not discovered any perks whatsoever with having the concierge or anything at all. Of course it didn't help that construction is still ongiong, when I was told it was scheduled to end ''in a couple of months'' when I moved in last year. I HAD resided in places, such as Kingston, for 4 years in the same building, and I had nothing bad to say. So yes, it is a problem with Soho, not with me.
