Had a horrible experience here. We noticed our room was not clean, there was dirty underwear by the TV, microwave had food in it, and bread clip left on the desk. After complaining they said nothing they could do because of covid. Don’t you think because of covid would be more important not to put your guest at risk with an unclean room. This is unacceptable and the hotel did not compensate us at all. When asked to get a clean hotel room they down graded us to a smaller room and still charged full price. Not impressed at all.

Very good location and the front desk staff was very polite and courteous. Enjoyed our stay here.

Great service! Excellent reception! Clean rooms. Beautiful interior pool. Include many commodities. The only bad thing, for a modern hotel, the room hasn't been modernize. Doesn't have enough plug and NO USB. Don't forget to bring your adapter.

This is a great place to stay. We orginally booked one night and found out we left an very important item behind for my anixety. A quick phone call to lindsay at the front desk and she found it no problem. Figured we were staying in ottawa again tonight and figured we would stay again. Lindsay again went above and beyond gave us the whirlpool suite as we are on our honeymoon. Cant wait to stay again!

Cozy hotel. Rooms, lobby and pool were recently renovated. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to busses and restaurants. Only thing missing… a complementary breakfast like most of Best Western hotels we've stayed at in the USA.

Pleasantly pleased with our stay here! From the outside, it doesn't look that impressive but once we checked into our room, we were not disappointed. Bathroom was clean and spacious. TV was big and good Wi-Fi strength. Walking distance to lots of restaurants. The only thing we had a problem with was our shower head. It was clogged and didn't spray water evenly. When we brought it up to the front desk, the lady said she didn't have anyone on staff to change it and that she would have to go out and purchase a new head and replace it herself. She acted like it was a huge inconvenience and in the end it was never fixed. Oh well… still would recommend this hotel.

Amazing. Pool isn't really to busy most of the time. Rooms are very clean, organized. Somewhat alot of TV channels. One upside to this place is the placing of this hotel; it's amazing, due to there being several fast food chains just a 1 minute, or even a 30 second drive from the hotel. I'd definitely go here again.

Stayed at this hotel from a Sunday night through Wednesday morning. It is located on a road that is mostly businesses, so it is very dark and quiet at night but gets rather busy during the day. The neighbourhood seems relatively safe. Lobby area is welcoming and staffed at all hours, and the rooms are updated, modern, clean, and comfortable. One gripe about the property which keeps it from getting a 5 star rating is the presence of noisy and/or drunk guests either from the attached bar or a Monday night party that was happening in and outside a first-floor guest room. It was quiet on Tuesday night though, so I hope it was only an anomaly. Overall, a great low-cost hotel for a comfortable stay for business or leisure!

The location worked for our family visit. Decent location on a somewhat busy road. Rooms are a little cramped (especially with a toddler), but beds are comfortable and bathroom was a decent size. Lighting was a bit poor, but the slider allowed a lot of light if the curtain was pulled back. Restaurant/bar had good food and the server was especially friendly. Pool was always empty, which allowed for a quiet family swim. No laundry available, which was a bummer, but overall a decent place.

For the cost this is a great value. It is clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly. There is a sports bar attached that has a good selection of tasty food. Breakfast is available for a fee.

A very enjoyable hotel with a great staff and excellent service. Room was clean and comfortable. The first floor patio rooms makes it quite enjoyable with a decent area to relax and enjoy the evening.

I had booked our room online and inadvertently put in the wrong dates. The manager and staff on duty on May 12 were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and the room was perfect.

Spacious rooms but you hear everything your neighbour's are doing or watching on TV. Great service personnel, doing their best. The pool is okay no restrooms and in the evening hours you gonna better ask for towels at the front desk.

The room was nice albeit dated. For some reason there were no baseboards. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Extremely clean and well located hotel for my liking. However, there is some maintenance that require attending to. In the room itself. Otherwise great staff and hotel service.

Highly recommended! Great value, clean, comfortable beds and the staff are amazing. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, it was a pleasure to stay here. This is now our "go to" hotel in the Ottawa area!

Courteous staff. Well maintained room and very comfortable bed.

Stayed for 1 night. Wifi didn't work (winded up using the guest Wi-Fi from Jiffy Lube which was next door! ), rooms not clean and old furniture. Also tried for 20min to get someone to make a wake up call — finally someone at front desk picked up. Would not recommend staying here.

This is the best BW I have been to. All the staff from the front desk to the maintenance guy that welcome me back each time I book there makes this place feel like a home away from home.

Always love Best Western. The hotel need some updates as it looks dates, but the restaurant has good food and my room was clean.

Overall okay hotel. Rooms are nice. Services are okay, and just your average hotel. However, the pool was under maintenance (even though they were not doing anything), the room next to us stank of weed (although it’s a no smoking hotel) and did not have many services and offerings. So overall, a 3 out of 5. Okay to stay if you are in a cinch, but look for somewhere else for a nice vacation in Ottawa.

Don't stay here! The pool doesn't have heat and they made no attempts to fix it. Didn't bother to clean our room on one of our days. Promised our kids a hotel with a pool for Christmas holidays we stayed 3 days had to tell my 5 year old everyday she couldn't go in the pool. When we reserved we should have been told upfront and given the option to go somewhere else. Won't be back. Told me they couldn't compensate us but could give us 2000 points on our reward cards ya that's not even $10. Won't be back or use a Best Western again if this is there idea of making things better.

Thisnis an awesome place to stay… Minor thing is that there is no complimentary breakfast and that the restaurant is a bit on the expensive side… But the staff is great, rooms nice and comfy!

Best Western I have every stayed in. The staff are great, the hotel spotless and really good value. Very convenient to the Canadian Tire Centre, shopping and parliament hill.

Amazing place — my Aunt and Uncle stayed here while a family member was in hospital at Queensway Carleton — inside its clean and beautiful and decorated very tastefully. The pool and exercise are are also well done and bright and clean. Staff of Hotel and restaurant were very polite and professional and courteous. The one thing I'd have not made it a 5 stars is the exterior needs to be updated and I'm sure that will happen in time. If I had to get a hotel room in West End of Ottawa I would for sure go here.

Excellent experience staying here. We rented a room for my sons birthday and they all had a great time. The pool is great! Warm water and salt water instead of chlorine. We had Nellie at the front desk and she was amazing!

Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. We loved the warm saltwater pool especially since we had been caught in a thunderstorm during our hike in Gatineau Park. It was nice to come back to the pool to get the 'chill' out. I would recommend this place for sure. Would be nice to have a luggage rack to put our suitcases on rather than the floor but that is a minor inconvenience. Good value for a nice room, quiet, clean and great location.

Stayed 2 nights and it was nice, comfy beds, good service. But the adjoining restaurant was closed and the pool area felt like a sauna. The air conditioner runs all night, which made it too cold but if we turn it off it got too hot. All in all it was pleasant, would stay again.

The rooms were clean and the private patio was also enjoyed. A very nice and unexpected feature. Everything worked and housekeeping made sure we had everything we need for four. The pub that is attached was not open so cannot comment, but the hotel is close to everything you need.

While the BW property in Ottawa was beautiful, the staff at the reservation counter was less then helpful. Seemed to care more about phone calls then the people trying to check in or get information. And as nice as the hotel looked it lacked a guest laundry and the continental breakfast.

The Best Western Hotel in Bells Corners is in a very convenient location that suits us well. We lived in the area in the past, so it's a bit like coming home and being able to easily go to our favourite restaurants, a great gluten-free bakery and so much more. It's really easy to drive from the hotel to anywhere in the West End of Ottawa. The room was spotless (and I'm so picky! ). The staff were friendly and helpful. However, I do recommend booking well in advance if you need a ground floor room.

This is our second time staying at this property, and the experience was similar both times. Overall, there were no major concerns. The room we had was spacious but could have used a few upkeep items addressed: sticky bathroom door that was difficult to close, bathroom fan didn't work, and the in-room safe didn't appear to work, though we didn't spend very long trying to get it to. We didn't report it to the staff until check-out, as we didn't really need it. Beds and bathroom were clean and well stocked, and we used the pool a number of times over the three days we were there, and it was good, aside from the slight awkwardness of swimming and playing alongside a swimming lesson class. (? ). I had read a review prior to our stay this time that mentioned the room he stayed in was quite dark, and I would agree with that. We had access directly outside to our vehicle which was very convenient, but unless you left the drapes pulled all the way open, it was very dark inside, and there was no option for sheer curtains to maintain some privacy while letting in the light. I'm sure we will continue to stay here on future trips as the location is very convenient for us and it has never been a negative experience.

Stayed one night in the jacuzzi suite for our anniversary and overall was very satisfied. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and tub was great. Only issue was the lights above the bedroom tub did not work and the jet motor was so loud it wasn't worth turning on.

We had a great experience with Best Western, Kanata. The front desk staff was amazing, friendly & efficient. We came with a group, as it was a baseball tourney. The back of the hotel is the place to stay — GROUND FLOOR — if you have a room with 2 queen beds you will want to pick the even numbered rooms. — if you have a room with a kings size bed with a pullout sofa you will want to pick the odd numbered rooms. There are 2 full sized propane BBQ's — at no extra charge. This was perfect for your group.

Overnight stay in Ottawa. I've stayed at this hotel before and been very satisfied. However obviously this trip was a little less pleasant. The room was clean & comfortable, however due to ongoing renovations the lobby was inaccessible and therefore had us wandering through the pool every time we wanted to move the grouch the hotel. Vending machine by our room was COMPLETELY sold out, nothing left at all. My reservation originally had breakfast included but due to some kind of glitch I had been downgraded to standard rate with no beeakfast. The front desk corrected this problem at no charge. Avoid the adjacent restaurant Britalia if you can, we ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and we got served stale bread, an overly exaggerated meat & cheese platter, breakfast was plain and un-flavourful, and we had to have our bill corrected because she forgot to credit us for the free breakfast!

Good service and the rooms were correct. Staff was very helpful. The heater in the room was very loud.

I didn't stay there bit the front desk service was amazing! They let me charge my car there overnight because they have an EV Charger.

Location is outside of Ottawa in kanata. Surrounded by restaurants, lcbo, beer stoeellre, Tim Hortons, anything you need. Staff is always friendly here, this was our second time staying and we were upgraded to a room with a real fireplace. Customer service was great.

Great stay for the price, but the restaurant sucks. Luckily there are plenty of places to eat near by.

Beautifully clean and quiet rooms to a hotel that is located well for easy access to two major highways. This was almost a perfect stay but the cleaning staff for some reason would vacuum the hallways at 7:00am and ignored requests and notes not to change the sheets due to skin sensitivity to detergents. The internet worked really well (first hotel I've stayed at where I could watch streaming video) and a really nice pool that is deep enough (2.5m) to actually allow you swim.

Nice looking place. Decent location. Friendly staff. I pretty much live in hotels across the country and I really had no complaints beyond the price, but it wasn't anything rediculous either. I would stay again.
