Didn’t have my room upon check in even after I showed them the reservation and confirmation number. Waited an hour for them to sort it out and said they put me in a better room but it is the exact room that I booked.

The restaurant is fabulous. … I had an extra day on this trip and walked around the hotel a little. I could not find 1 speck of dust. I even checked under the microwave and mini fridge in my room. The lobby is immaculate. All the exits on the main floor are highly visible and located on the right places. Thank you to Roland and team. You folks are doing an excellent job!

This is a great hotel option if you're flying to/from the Ottawa airport. They offer a shuttle service, or if you're driving to the airport yourself it's right there. Despite its proximity to the airport the rooms are very quiet. There is a modest but well maintained fitness room, and the restaurant is excellent. We had a great meal with friendly and attentive service. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, and if I were traveling for business it may have been an issue, but it wasn't a major detriment to my evening.

Severely underwhelmed for what should be expected of a Hilton. 13.95 for breakfast when my young children only eat cereal. What hotel doesn't either offer complimentary breakfast or at least a cheaper option. Room was big Restaurant definitely over rated. Pool was small. Pictures showed better. Fitness equipment was small. Again, pictures showed better. I recommend everyone stay at the Hampton down the street and skip this place all together.

Nice hotel. The staff are very nice from the shuttle driver to the receptionist. The restaurant came handy for these days you just want to relax and not go out. They offer through out the day infused lemon water and cookies. The bed is so comfortable and the room are really spacious.

The rooms are quite massive and some of them even give you a view of the airport. Inside the room we had a huge window and really comfy beds. The television was tiny but it was cool that you could rent films that were still in the cinema! For breakfast there was a nice buffet selection. The waffle machine was the best part for me. Also, there was a pool. It’s not a huge pool, but it’s a pool and I like pools. If you like browsing the Internet, you’ll be happy because the connection here is fast. You could probably stream videos on it if you wanted. Overall, my stay at this hotel was great. That’s all I have to say.

Stayed here for two nights over the Canada day weekend.
The hotel was large, clean and welcoming.
Very comfortable beds, plush towels and very clean.
The staff were very polite and greeted us every time we left or arrive back.
Our room was massive with a view of the entire city in the distance from the 8th floor.
Complimentary coffee in the lobby every morning as well as large dispensers of ice water with lemon.
Also keurig machine in the rooms.
Lots of elevators located at the front and back of the hotel so never had to wait long for one.
We ate one buffet breakfast at the hotel and it was very good.
Located right next to the airport, never heard a plane once, great quiet windows.
Pool area is small but it did the trick after a long hot 115 degree day.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Hilton! Our room was quiet lovely and comfortable. I am recovering from a concussion and they took the time to find a room that met my needs even though they were booked solid. The restaurant was awesome and the food amazing. They also have a wonderful breakfast buffet! Would recommend meeting business associates or friends and family come to meet you for breakfast here rather than you driving into the city!

Room was clean & spacious. Food was excellent. Our server, Brooklyn was excellent. Carrie and everyone at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. All around a great experience. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is clean and functional, the staff very courteous. The rooms are huge and we are very well installed. There is a restaurant-bar on the ground floor, convenient when you do not want to go out.

We enjoyed our stays here. Staff is great, rooms are clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have a small menu for breakfast in the restaurant. I’m not a big fan of buffets.

Excellent accommodations, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Not a single problem. Food was incredible, the ice cream was genuinely the best I've ever had. Our server, Brooklyn was a delight. At the desk, Carrie was very helpful in finding us somewhere to exchange our American currency.

Hilton Garden Inn near Ottawa’s airport is conveniently located to the areas I was visiting. As part of a group that spent two days there, we had a good hotel experience. My room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was spotlessly clean! Not affected by any airport traffic. Internet Wi-Fi was fine! Breakfast is not included — was quite satisfying. The hotel staff is very courteous! Ample free parking. I slept comfortably but others may find the mattress comfort lacking.

I went for breakfast buffet before a nearby event. The food was hot and delicious. The staff were attentive and polite.

Was here for a workday professional event that included breakfast and lunch. Everything went very well. All amenities were clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The staff were quick to clean away used dishes and we're very friendly and helpful. Food was good too.

The hotel was extremely spacious; wide hallways, large rooms, lots of space between the tables in the restaurant. The food in the restaurant is all made in house, and mouthwatering to boot! They have a wonderful shuttle to the airport that takes less than 10mins, and everyone that works there is pleasant!

Since the closure of the Southway, the Hilton Garden Inn has become the go to destination for those travelling to and from the north. I've stayed here a few times now and have always had a top tier experience. Great rooms, excellent helpful staff and pretty good in house dining. The hotel always feels clean and inviting so I can't ask for much more after a long flight or drive.

Room wasn't ready 2hrs after the 3:00pm check in. Thermostat in room was broken and room was hot all night. The room and hotel were clean and modern, great amenities. Restaurant food was average. Handy location.

Pathetic Service Terrible experience, assigned a room on the main floor which was dead cold. Really loud clunking bathroom exhaust. Went to the restaurant and was ushered to a seat where I sat for 40 minutes without anyone coming to ask for my order or offer a glass of water. I headed to the reception and spoke to the "reception manager" who could careless what had happened or show any empathy (brushed me off). Then it dawned on me! they didn't need my business and wanted to politely encourage my kind (visible chocolate minority) not to return. Message received loud and clear.

The hotel was bright and the rooms are spacious. I stayed in a double queen. The amenities looked good but I did not use them. It is very close to the airport and parking is included, which is awesome. I would stay here again.

It is definitely a Hilton. Beautiful and well maintained property. Friendly and professional staff. One of the only hotels in the area with a restaurant / bar. Rooms on the first floor are a but quirky with really high ceilings.

Very large room, clean if sparsely furnished (for the size of the room). Room cleaning service impeccable. Higher floors on even numbered suites have a awesome airport runway view w/ zero noise. Restaurant offers good dinner options and buffet breakfast is reasonably priced with good selection considering the price range. Very close to airport make sure you call in reception for shuttle pick-up. Overall great hotel for the price range.

Nice atmosphere and clean environment. No one greeted me when I walked in/walked pass the reception desk. Good facilities and staff otherwise for food. Would recommend for where it is as well.

Great staff. It was a quick trip. The rooms are gigantic. My only complaint is the TV systems are old and half the channels don't work etc. Sometimes when your flight is cancelled you just want to sit down and watch TV and this makes it a frustrating experience.

Some rooms have a good view of runway 25/07, so if you're looking for that, try to get a room on one of higher floors, looking south (even numbered rooms). If not, don't worry, because the windows are thick enough to block out most of the noise. Rooms themselves are clean, nothing to complain about here. No free breakfast, unfortunately, but a restaurant is located on the first floor. Located 5 minutes from the airport by bus.

I had the great honor to visit our nation's capital of depressingly rectangular architecture and fuzzy hats. I did not catch a glimpse of Justin so he narrowly avoided me mansplaining to him the importance of more revealing clothing on televised interviews south of the border. The room was fine. 4 stars.

The staff are always eager to help. From the basic stuff to assisting with a stapler during a work event. I've been to this hotel repeatedly and never been disappointed. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Their buffet dinner last Christmas was fantastic, and I love the fresh water in the lobby each day.

The beds were comfortable but not very large and the pillows were too big (I prefer the thin ones). There was fridge, coffee machine and microwave, which is fine. The light entered through our window even with the curtains closed, so I had trouble sleeping. In general too expensive according to me.

Love this place. Convenient to our meeting locations, rooms are spacious with extended living amenities, in room decent coffee and most importantly French vanilla creamer in the lobby in the morning on the coffee bar. My fav addition to my every cup of joe.

First off, the beds were very comfortable, and the room itself was great! And there was no noise, otherwise, I would have given this one star. It started when we arrived after flight delays, and getting in at 3 am (we had been up a full 24 hours at this point), and our prepaid reservation wasn't there. I showed them the email confirmation, and they couldn't find it. It took us over an hour to convince them we had a room there, that we were part of a party. It was tough, because we didn't get into our room and to sleep until 4:30 am, back to work at 7 am the next moring. The next morning, they had said that they had given my reservation to someone else. That was it, there was no real apology, no fruit basket, no upgrade, no real show that they were sorry at all. Just, kind of, 'oops, we are trying to figure out what happened'. Our boss had some issues with the venue, and after that, if I had to ask for anything, the entire banquet staff treated me as if I was a nuisance. I was extra conscious to be super sweet, and I had one guy actually roll his eyes at me when I told him we were going to adjust the room at the end of the night. We were not treated well. The restaurant staff was awesome, especially Carina! She was great! But, the last night ended with an extremely disappointing meal. It was the mushroom risotto special. It came with about a cup of risotto, 2 shrimps, and 2 scallops (not the real big ones either), for $22. It looked like an appetizer.

Hotel has a terrific location and good service. Perfect for business at the airport or nearby EY centre. Some rooms are not well proportioned and look barren as a result.

The breakfast should probably be included. They added a meal I never had on to my bill and another gentleman's. So make sure you go over yours. The gyms were also both really hot (at least 80 Fahrenheit). Other than that, the rooms were nice and the service was really good.

We were staying at another Ottawa area hotel and the kids kept comparing it to the Hilton Garden Ottawa Airport as we have stayed there a few times. After two days I couldn't take it anymore and booked into the Hilton Garden Ottawa Airport. We have been lucky enough to stay here a few times over the last year and the kids were right. One of those motels where you can lay on the bed cover and feel comfortable walking on the carpet in bare feet. The front desk staff are always amazing and so are the breakfast staff.

TLDR*; definitely a recommendable hotel, first class service and quality received. Friendly staff, amazing room quality, great size, all the stuff feels fresh and to the best of our convenience, other facilities like pools also included! The parking lot is a bit crammed, but the decor and foyer, along with overall furniture, were incredibly beautiful and modern, but not too glossy and flashy, the perfect blend of beauty and comfort! Would recommend.

It's a nice inn. The room we got was a very nice size with nice beds and a large bathroom. I didn't understand why the only vending machines on each floor only sold drinks and there was no ice machine on the floors. The pantry they have for snacks and food though for purchase.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the Hilton Garden Inn. I stayed there for work in Feb 2016. The reception was well done, water and tea available for guests, a large and inviting sitting area, and the front desk staff were friendly and fast. The hotel is right near the airport and was easy to get to. The restaurant was pretty good, with responsive service and decent food. Even a few good beers on tap. The guest room was large, with a comfy King bed. The room had a desk and the Internet was good. TV was okay, a little slow to respond at times and your typical selection of channels.

They have done several recent renovations that have improved the experience at this hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

Stayed one night last weekend. Booked online. Very impressed with the room for the price. Room was very well appointed fridge/microwave/keurig. Much nicer room than the Ramada I was in in Orlando the week before.

While hotel is good, staff is not nice! if I were manager at your hotel, I would send your staff (Shauna) @ Ottawa Airport Hilton to multicultural training, for example, how to treat multi cultural guests and being nice. At the end of the day no one is paying in black/brown or white $$ okay? While she was extremely nice to the other guest who were ahead of me, her response to my questions was arrogant and not welcoming! … anyway, Hilton if you are reading this, groom your staff little more so they can increase your revenue and not decrease it!

Can’t beat this location: seemingly walking distance to the airport. This is a regular HGI, which are typically very nice. My room however was cavernous: too large, and rather empty. The coziness needs to be dialed up here. 7/10.

This is the biggest room I have ever stayed in with two double beds with adjustable mattresses (I went for a slightly softer option). My room also had a Keurig coffeemaker, microwave and minifridge. The en suite bathroom has a shower and bath with free toiletries including amenity kit, comb, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser and shower cap. There is also a desk with an ergonomic chair, so perfect for me to catch up on work with access to free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Breakfast consisted of a buffet with yogurts, cereals and fruit, but I chose to pay for French toast with bacon. Tea and coffee is free in the reception area which was a nice touch while sitting in front of the fire. I didn't use the pool or gym area. I took the free shuttlebus from outside the arrivals hall at Ottawa airport and it was an easy 5-minute drive.

As with most people who use this kind of hotel, we booked the night before a very early flight. It was a pleasant hotel, and most convenient for us to be able to use their shuttle to get to the airport by 5am. We appreciated that service and the cheerful driver who took us there. The one sour note was when we checked out. We booked this hotel on their official website online and paid for the night in advance. Imagine our surprise to find that, on checking out, we were told that we "owed" a further $4.86 for a "marketting fee" that was not disclosed to us at the time of booking. Now I know that $4.86 is a pittance, but I think that it is a bit "rich" to change the terms of our contract with the hotel in this manner. No one is going to fight with the registration staff at 4.45am about this added fee, but what the hotel may have gained from what seems to me to be an illegitimate change in our tariff in terms of the extra $4.86, it has lost many times over in terms of good will and our trust.

Pleasantly suprised with this hotel. Room was immaculate. "Bed and Breakfast" package included hot breakfast each morning which was good deal and food was respectable. Room rates were not any more expensive than surrounding lesser hotels. I will be staying again.

Our dinning experience was the worst. After ordering an expensive bottle of wine they screwed up our food order and brought us the wrong order, it couldn't be because they were busy, there were only a few people dinning. The next morning for breakfast we waited over 35 minutes for eggs. We walked out and went to eat at another place. We will never go there again. It's off our Ottawa list of hotes.
