We were really impressed with the quality we got during our visit. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Room and washroom was spacious and clean. Wifi was fast and above all complimentary breakfast was really great. Its was same as in 5 star rating hotels. We are happy customers and will definitely stay again during our visit to Ottawa.

Stayed here for about 2 weeks for work, rooms were good, nice and quiet. Only complaint is the breakfast times. My crew and many other crews stay here for work, we leave at 6am every morning and they don't start the breakfast until 630. For the companies like mine who bring in so much revenue for this hotel, I think they should accomodate us more, start the breakfast at 6am so the people staying there for more than a day or two actually get to take advantage of the money they're paying.

Good value hotel. Was cheaper to book direct than on booking. Com. Room was clean and tidy and appeared to be recently renovated. Very helpful staff at check in. The breakfast was decent for an all included although a bit busy. We f9rgot a bag in our room and the staff kept it safe for us … including the cash inside … so a very big thank you!

Absolutely Amazog Experience. I’m actually still sitting in my room. I had a work thing all day and my boyfriend was in the room. When he came in there was ice on the air conditioner. He asked about it and was immediately offered a new room. My boyfriend refused and asked if there was anything he could do to fix it. He turned it off and let the ice melt. We turned it back on a few hours later and everything seems fine. I later ask front desk if we can stay until 3 on Sunday as they offer it for 25 dollars. And yet again they offered it to us at no charge. The room is clean and comfortable. We will stay here again for sure.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Clean hotel and the most comfortable bed and pillows I've EVER experienced in a hotel! The rooms are quiet too. There is a grocery store within a walkable distance, and a bar-sized refrigerator in the room for perishables. I stayed three nights and had a fantastic sleep every night! Thank you Comfort Inn!

Rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Most staff were pleasant and accommodating. Front desk customer service (Randy), not so pleasant.

Nice location. Staff were friendly. I stayed here for business for more than just one night. The room was clean and large. The air circulation was poor. The air conditioner looked rather old and no matter how you adjusted it, it would not change. That being said, there were windows to open.

Parking sucks especially for big trucks always booked so call early but you can park at food basics and walk the block. In between is Tommy s a great restaurant. The owner is always there good guy. Hotel layout is confusing and scattered so pay attention when stumbling through the hallways. In a secluded area except the highway so don't know if your less or more likely to have your truck broken into but hasn't happened yet and I've stayed here upwards of 20 times.

Heater in room didn't work. There aren't complimentary passes to the Kanata Wave Pool like the website promises. Breakfast area congested in morning. Parking lot too tight. No elevator to second floor. Housekeeping staff friendly and competent.

I called to book a reservation and the person, who turned out to be the manager, was very rude. Had lots of attitude and you could tell he hated his job. Never experience such bad customer service from this chain hotel before.

Horrible service. Booked and paid for a room with two queen beds, got one double bed and a pullout couch… asked them for blankets for the pullout couch and said they ran out of blankets, this was at 2:30pm when we checked in. Will never stay at a comfort in again. Not happy at all…

You get your basic needs met, clean, affordable but has a bit of a grungy feeling. Lots of dogs in rooms, and smoking. Wouldn't stay again unless last place available.

Comfortable room. Friendly staff. But no restaurant in house. The closest is next door… About 2 minutes' walk away.

Staff are nice, its clean, quiet and close to Canadian Tire Centre.

Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast buffet smelled great, but the dining room was packed. Room was a little more expensive than expected, but probably because of Winterlude. Overall, happy with our stay.

The rooms are small but clean, the employees were very nice & they gave us a map of the walk.

The worst experience ever staying at this Motel. The fire alarm went off 2 times scared the hell out of me and the other stayed in people around 1am with half an hour between both. I could't sleep properly. The staff couldn't even try to help or apologize when I informed them in the morning. I was told that that its one of the fake alarms that happen from time to time and have no control. I never ever recommend this Motel to anyone specially if u wanna take for deep sleep.

Great hotel, clean and easily accessible. Staff were excellent.

Went there with a novice hockey team, conclusion, missing a place for the kids to hang together. Just need one customer around with the "no noise need" to get happy/asleep to screw up a good evening…

I would give it zero stars if I could. It’s a hotel for drunken hockey parents who leave their kids to roam in the hallways until wee hours or until you call security. Front desk staff were understanding on night one but on night two they were rude and hung up on us when we got upset about the noise.

Had a pleasant stay. Room was clean and I really enjoyed the coffee machine in the lobby where you could choose from regular coffee, latte and cappuccino.

Stay was fantastic. Service was nice and transportation was easy to access. There's a local dinner right by that has good food as well. Solid hotel.

I booked a main floor room I check in on the second floor. Never staying here again-lots of other hotels in the area for the same price. Have stayed at others and they are much better! Plus when you book a room on the main floor you will actually get itm.

Good value for our stay, not a 4 star but would stay again, as busses run from near by too down town Ottawa every 15 minutes, hotel is clean and comfy.

Great location for heading out for dinner/drinks before a Senators game. Nice, clean rooms. Easy to get to off of the highway.

Customer service is really bad! I think the guy at the evening receptions has something against women! He yelled at me after 2 recovery because I had forgotten my keys in my room, he even offered to open my door for me to go to sleep somewhere else! He really shouldn't be working on customer services! As a diamond member of choice I find its very unpleasant! On the other hand I have nothing to say for the cleanliness of the room:)

Nicely renovated motel at a decent price. Room and amenities did everything I needed. Handy just off the highway down the road from Ottawa Sens rink.

I am absolutely appalled with my experience with Comfort Inn. I called to book a block of rooms for a wedding party 8 months ago and called twice to verify. To this date August 21st 5 days before my wedding and now they have no record of my booking and they were going to accommodate by this mistake by taking $20 off of my bill. My recommendation anyone is do not give these people your business.

When we arrived at around 4pm to check in, there was only 1 person working the front desk with a line-up out the door. We were given our keys to our non-smoking room, only to open the door and find the room reeked of cigarette smoke. I am not sure if the maids didn't notice (unlikely) or if they just didn't do anything about the smell. We had to go back to the front desk and were given another room at the opposite end of the hotel. Once we settled into our new room, it was OK. It was clean, there was a fridge, but the water pressure in the bathroom was horrible. We stayed one night and tried to go for our complimentary breakfast in the morning, but the breakfast room was far too crowded. I couldn't even get to the coffee pot to pour myself a cup, that's how crowded it was. We left and got breakfast at Tim Hortons instead, but I am not happy that we paid for breakfast with our room and were not able to eat anything because the breakfast room was way too small for the number of people at the hotel.

Good service, very friendly employees. On the other hand, the smell of deodorizer was way too strong in our room. The hotel should respect people and do not put any perfume. Thank you.

Staff was ok. Orice was a bit much for what you get. Room is clean. Noisy ac that didnt cool the room much is my only complaint.

Solid bare bones hotel. There were no frills to the room, but for the budget price and a quick stay, that's all you need. On the downside, the parking lot fills up quickly by mid-afternoon and the hotel is somewhat hard to navigate.

I didn't see the room as I was visiting my cousin who was staying there. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

It was pretty cool. I don't stay in hotels often but it was nice.

The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly. My only complaint is that breakfast ends at 10, I feel that ending at 10:30 or 11 may be better accommodations for the guests.

I hate it worst stay in a comfort inn employees dont Know how to do there job and if you leave cash deposit they Will take it or take a part of it dont go im not going there again I suggest any body to do the same worst hotel of my life.

Location was close to my venue rooms were clean and comfortable professional service will go back.

WORST costumer service. DO NOT stay at this hotel. We reserved a room with two double beds. At check in we were told the only room they had available was 1 queen and a pull out couch. We asked for blankets for the pull out couch and were told they would be brought down later. The cleaning lady came into our room after we settled in to change the seats on our bed and told us they had not finished cleaning the room. The bathroom had dirty towels and a used bar of soap. After she changed the sheets on the bed she cleaned the bathroom… While we were in the room. I'm not sure why the hotel would check us into a dirty room. Later that evening we went to the front desk and asked for sheets. There was an extremely rude man working and he asked us why we waited until now to ask for sheets for the pull out couch. He told us that we should have asked earlier and that it wasn't his problem. He told us he might not have blankets. When I asked him what he expected us to do he told me that I should've came down earlier. I told him his costumer service was terrible. He managed to find us one thin fleece blanket. When we pulled out the pull out couch a dirty sock came flying out. Overall worst stay at a hotel ever. Would never go back to this dump. The employees need to learn what costumer service is. I still cannot believe how rude the man at the front desk was. I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. Never stay here!

This place needs to train their employees on customer service. Do not be fooled by a price! If they took some time to train employees on customer service it would be different. 11-7 managers clearly hate their jobs and do not know what hositality means. I bet they hire people off the street with no hotel or hospitality training. Do not stay at this location. Student hostels over seas have better employees then this place.

Don't be fooled. This place is ran by some careless. Really letting the place go. Non-smoking roams reek of smoke, some items at breakfast is questionable. Sausage takes like dog food, the syrup for the cardboard waffles is pretty much watered down high fructose corn syrup, and to sort out any discrepancies the staff are extremely unfriendly. Not very Canadian at all! extending our visit resulted in numerous calls to sort out and a lashing from higher ups. Next to nonfunctional internet, a call to the office pritty much yields a "we don't care" the first night or so a bunch of kids ran the halls playing ding-dong-ditch and jumping of beds above, and than it comes down to having to do laundry in the local washing/drying. It turns out the locals are using the unsecured machines as there own private laundry mat. By far the WORST comfort inn iv seen EVER. The only thing this place has going for it is other than the cigarette smoke in the rooms. They are fairly clean and have working AC hotels in Ottawa as a whole are WAY overpriced. And I wouldn't even accept an offer to stay here free next time around…

Room was smallish, with a small bathroom with poor water pressure. Dated furnishings, noisy/drafty patio door, and an odd stale smell inside the room. Was overall a pretty dumpy stay. Barely a small nook for it's "continental" breakfast. Simply can't handle more than a handful of people using it at once.

Rooms are a comfortable size. They're very neat and clean and the quality and attention to detail in the finishes is good. Beds are comfortable, pillows, duvets and linens are fresh and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful: loaned me a charging cable for the duration of my stay. We've never had a problem with the Wi-Fi in the rooms, and we use it extensively, sometimes running 4 devices at once. We originally stayed here because the motel is pet friendly and we had 2 dogs with us, but the rooms are immaculate, so we now stay here even when we don't have the dogs.
