This is an excellent hotel for the price range. The room was so CLEAN. It is an older hotel, but you would never know by how clean the room and hotel hallways are. The breakfast was a great bonus. The staff are so kind. Also, $50 deposit for credit cards not $250. I would stay here again, the price is a steal.

Despite the exterior of the building, this is actually a really nice hotel, the interior was renovated 3 years ago and has been kept very clean and comfortable. If you're looking for somewhere inexpensive to stay this is one of the best rated hotels in this price category near the falls, and I can definitely see why. There is a bus stop right down the street which will take you to the falls, and the concierge is more than willing to help out with any questions you may have. The only issue is that our room only had 1 free outlet, so if you do come, bring a power strip so that you won't have to decide which phone will live and which phone will die.

The bacon and eggs were amazing… until I realized it was just a dream. None of that in the complimentary continent breakfast. I drank down my sorrows with watered down coffee. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Unattended swimming opening hours are odd at 9am, not ideal for business travellers. The expectation here is you need a place to sleep and shower — that's it. Free parking. Also the "river view" is much to be desired (you pay extra for these rooms). Probably in a decade when the ice caps melt enough to see it rise.

This is a solid 2 star hotel. Independently owed, the management is legitimately trying to cater to their guests within their means. Everything you could expect from a bigger chain hotel is there — including free parking and free breakfast. Internet connection was terrible, but to be fair, so was the weather (may have been related). Pool seemed cooler than the 83F advertised, but was still comfortable. Great value for price, would recommend, and return.

Very clean and service was fantastic… Family Suite perfect for my family of 5. Nice hot breakfast.

Rooms are spacious and beds and comfortable. The pool had a little too much chlorine for my liking but was just me. The hot room was great. Breakfast eggs were salty and soggy, and there was no bacon. But the sausages we really good and there was fresh fruits.

Enjoyed our stay with friendly staff, great room, clean and well taken care of! Amenities and hospitality made you feel like home! The owner was very nice and daily housekeeping kept everything up to par! Only 3 minute drive from downtown Niagara with everything so close and yet no big crowds of people around you! Highly recommended for people, who love peace and quite!

The room was okay. The hotel didn't have microwaves in the room or anywhere on the premises. Continental breakfast didn't taste fresh, but the rooms were affordable. Only 5 minute drive away from Clifton Hill.

Such a great place to stay at! It's has an older style but it is renovated very well. The staff are friendly and attentive. They are super clean and tidy. When I walked into the pool they were checking the cleaness of the water, which made me feel very safe to swim. The breakfast is good! You get two hot dishes, toast and english muffin (jam, butter, peanuts butter), cereal, hot and cold drinks, cupcakes and other pastries. Over all we really enjoyed our stay.

I'm giving it 4 stars because it's a little old and a bit far from the tourist district. Other than that, everything is amazing. The Inn is very clean and all staff members are super friendly.

Good hotel for a good price. Customer service is great! Room is clean. Cons: no elevator, parking at the back (dark area), no complimentary water bottles and tub is not that clean.

Beautiful, clean and quiet hotel with a very welcoming staff at the front desk. It´s only 3km from the Falls, 500m from river. We stayed in a Standard King room and it had everything we needed — fridge, flat screen TV, king size bed, coffee machine, sofa, small dining table with two chairs and a free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was included and there's no way you're not going to find something to eat there. They had coffee, juices, muffins, eggs, sausages, toast, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt. Hotel has a free private parking and an indoor swimming pool.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced and the room was very clean and organized. Easily the best hotel we have stayed at in Niagara. Will return.

Across the street from Niagara's gorge which was beautiful. The weather was thankfully warm for October! The rooms were clean, mini fridge, TV and air-conditioning. We stayed with our dog and they can accomodate them for a $20 fee. If you do stay with dogs they provide you a room on the first floor that has direct access outside. The Inn isn't directly near the falls but the location is clean and well maintained, its down by the bed and breakfasts. So we did not find it congested with cars or people. The staff was very friendly and did help us out with a noisy sports team upstairs quickly and appreciated that.

Clean. Large enough rooms. Complimentary soap/shampoo. Microwave and mini fridge included. Overall, a good cost effective option that's close to the falls.

Good inexpensive place to stay near to the Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Very clean and breakfast was ok. Comfortable beds and quick, pleasant check in and out process. No resort or parking charges make it a better deal than most hotels in this area.

DO NOT STAY HERE! When we booked 5 months ahead of time they advertised a pool when we showed up the pool was closed for repairs. They should have called to let us know but they never did. Then if that was not bad enough they had us add a credit card when we came. When checking out they said that our online payment only paid for part of the room and that we owed a balance. Total scam. Do not stay here!

Quiet hotel away from the crowds at niagra and close to the boardwalk. The walk in to town takes about 40 minutes and the bus service stops at 22.30 so be prepared to take taxis later on at night. The room and breakfast are OK.

Polite staff and they're breakfast is not bad. Rooms could be better, you can hear everything above you.

Overall great impression. We stayed in a 2-queen + pullout suite facing the back, so we missed out on the view out front. Ask for a front facing room for a nice view if you can. The location was overall scenic, peaceful, and convenient. It was too far for us to walk into the center but we drove in and parked for the day for $20. I believe there was a bus there as well from the hotel for $15 for two people but we were a group of 5 and didn't explore it. The pullout couch was comfortable and the room seemed spacious and clean. Not a 5 star hotel but we'll worth the money. The continental breakfast was fine — there was packaged oats, eggs, sausages, cereal, yogurt, basic fruits, and baked goods. They asked us not to arrange the tables into larger groups but there were other rooms with bigger tables that we didn't explore. The staff were reasonably nice and considered. We didn't have any special requests that needed accommodation. The only things we didn't like were that the air conditioning was very loud at night and we decided to turn it off. Also, one of the guests must've been smoking pot somewhere nearby which stank up our room at night. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you're looking for a clean place at a reasonable price. Also, the pool was closed but the rest of the hotel seemed nicely renovated.

This place was okay overall. It offers a bit more affordable way to stay near the falls, which is nice. The staff were quite friendly and parking was free. Unfortunately, there were many negatives with this place as well. The pool didn't have any water. Our bathroom had leaking water in the ceiling from the bathroom above us. The breakfast was okay, but not very tasty. In our experience, do not expect to walk to the falls from this hotel. It's a bit out of the way from the falls and other attractions. No air conditioning in the halls or breakfast area made it very hot. Bed wasn't overly comfortable.

Motel quality. Room was a good size but didn't have furniture to fill it to make it cozy; Bathroom light switch was annoyingly on the outside of the bathroom behind the door; One of the hand towels had yellow stains on it; No elevators; Lastly, not a big deal but there was no AC in the hallways. It was a bit stifling. Breakfast was okay though and the bed was hard if that is what you like.

Great Place not far from the falls. The rooms are big and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will be recommending this place to our family and friends.

The location and price were excellent. Unfortunately there were only a small handful of TV stations available and not enough electrical outlets.

River Rapids was a really nice hotel for the price. It has been recently renovated, but it's still obvious that the place has old bones (wall AC unit, small bathroom, closed pool, dated hallways). Fridge and microwave and not provided. I would still absolutely stay here again! Parking is free, continental breakfast is provided, and a WEGO stop is within a short walking distance away at Souvenir City.

Great location, amenities that no other place has offered and the room was gorgeous.

Great room, great price, great view, just minor inconveniences. Not enough lights, very few available outlets. The included breakfast was ok, nothing special. I'd stay again. Everything else was great.

Nice big room, decent price, Good breakfast, WE WENT OUT IN THE MORNING AND CAME BACK AT 2PM Left our please clean me tag on the door, got back and the room door wasn't even touched, room was the same way we left it, Also the flooring quality is terrible… U CANT HAVE KIDS CAUSE EVEN AS AN ADULT U HAVE TO TIP TOE IN THE ROOM or the person downstairs will be hearing your footsteps loudly… WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN DUE TO THE POOR FLOORING QUALITY.

Amazing value. Recently renovated that included a decent breakfast. We stayed here one night before staying at Great Wolf Lodge which is only 2 minutes away. Only disappointment was that pool was shut for renovations. Would stay again.

The front desk receptionists are very friendly. Requested an iron and ironing board prior to our visit, and it was already here. They don't have an ice maker, but when I called they said they can provide us with some at the front desk. When I was going down to get some, the receptionist was coming up to give us ice. The breakfast was pretty good. Room was nice and clean. Would definitely recommend.
