Cheap for the cleanliness of the place. Wi-Fi is slow, too crowded on and public. Don't offer breakfast. Air conditioning on half the rooms. The evening service was very understanding. Difficulty speaking in English for me, she made gestures to us and changed her turn of phrase so that we could understand what she was telling us.

Most shady hotel/inn I have ever been to. Paid for a room in full online, arrived at the inn at 4 am because we took a last minute trip. We were refused a room until their check-in time at 3pm. We found another hotel (Embassy suites) who nicely accommodated us for the time we arrived (5am) and were given king size suite room for less than the price of the sketchy inn. After checking out of Embassy suits, we went back to the Inn to confirm that we still have a room and that we can come back anytime to gain access. The lady confirmed we could could come back anytime, as long as we call beforehand. My husband and I went on to enjoy our day and evening, and called before we were ready to arrive at the Inn. To our surprise they had cancelled our room and also were fully booked. Without asking us they cancelled the room, gave it to someone else and made some extra money. These people give Indians a bad name in this country doing sketchy things like this to make an extra dollar. All we asked for was a room (which we paid for) or a refund, neither of which we got. We will fight for our refund as we work hard for our money and don't just earn it by scamming others out of a room to stay for the night. This was on Canada day, so instead of enjoying our night of vacation, we went searching for another hotel, obviously all booked due to Canada day. We drove home at 3 am because of the poor management of this Inn. Scammed for our room and money.

You get what you pay for. Quite clean but dated rooms. Staff is nice. Plenty of parking space. Parking is free with most bookings. Location isn't too bad.

The owners were extremely nice. They accommodated our request and were extremely helpful. The room was pretty decent for the price and the location was great.

The rooms are actually really nice and clean. The AC was amazing. The bed is comfortable and so are the pillows. They also offer free parking for guests. The front desk employees are very nice and friendly. The only complains we have is that the shower knob is broken and the sink has no water pressure. The curtains are a bit narrow and it would be nice if they are a bit bigger. All in all, for the price, we would definitely stay again.

Great rooms for the money and great staff to send you out for your night.

Good et location… Not the cleanest but good enough… Management claimed we had 15 people there and had a party even though we had 6 for a 3 bed room and werent there for most of the night.

Employee told me himself they never wash any of the bedding until there is a stain. Bed bug city better off spending a little more and getting a room worth sleeping in. I would rather of slept in my car. One month later still waiting for my deposit back. Unprofessional "buisness".

Was ok. People are right when they say it smells like an Indian restaurant inside. Only problem I had was calling before I got there & during my stay because the room was freezing and I couldn’t figure out how to put the heat on. And the line is busy. The whole stay the “Line was busy” it’s like they don’t wanna take calls or something.

DO NOT STAY HERE THEY ARE THIVES When I arrived for my visit for my hot tub room looked at the room and to be completely honest I was shocked tinyest ‘’queen’’ bed I have ever seen on top of very run down and dirty extremely cold with built in heating that did not work what so ever small portable heater was already in the room TV had about 3 channels that were extremely fuzzy anyways overall for 196$ was not worth it keep in mind they charged my credit card 200$ yet my recipient stated 196$ and some change. Being so disappointed in the quality of my room I complained to the front desk and asked for a refund *being in the room for a whole 2 mins the lady at the front desk who was extremely unprofessional by the way continued to present me with faulty information after being on the phone with the booking company for quite a while they informed me that the credit card was charged by the hotel not the booking company they gave me another run around muplite times promised me to come back the next day for my money back yet was told again the manager was not on duty long story short they STOLE MY MONEY when I did not stay the night … ended up getting the days inn up the street for the same price plus ten times cleaner. Avoid this place family owned hotel yet no management on duty.

Beware of scammers ****like other people who comments this hotel steals your deposit from u I thought it wasn't true and I was also a victim of them scamming us out of a desposit they gave us some random excuse I called my credit card company they have many reports from this hotel also check under the beds usually alot if garbage and beds are full of random people's hair it's pretty gross Update ***** Got home to realise me and my wife both got bed bugs from this hotel.

Honestly, this place is pretty awful I booked this place because it was cheap. I wasn't expecting much at this price but it didn't even have the essentials. My bed broke the first time I got in. Had to get it fixed. The TV only has around 10 channels give or take and the quality of the TV is awful. There are lines through the TV on some channels and fuzziness. The Wi-Fi is terrible. Cuts out and I can't even load basic web pages sometimes. The outlet is also behind the bed and almost impossible to get to without moving the heavy ass bed. All I need is a fridge, TV, Wi-Fi and bed but this place failed at providing that.

Was very disappointed with almost everything about this hotel. When I first clicked the advertisement it listed the hot tub was included with the package, after my info and confirmation was submitted and I received my email the hot tub was no longer listed with included items. When I arrived and explained this to the lady at the front desk she said no they only have one room in the whole hotel that has a hot tub and that it was more money. I also did not like that we were automatically put on the top 3rd floor with no elevators meanwhile the rooms on the first floor were vacant. When we arrived in to our room the fridge was not turned on and therefore did not keep our stuff cool once turned on. The washroom was horrible and freezing cold. Good thing I brought clorox cleaner with me because I went to take a bath and had to clean a whole bunch of someone's pubic hairs that were all over the tub along with the amount of built up hair in the drain was disturbing. The bath plug also did not fit so I had to use a facecloth. In the bed room I kept smelling this mouldy wet bleach smell the whole time I was in the room and while sleeping. Woke up in the morning and realized there was a huge nasty stain of something on the bed skirt. They have advertised for flat screen tvs that both ours and our neighbors said were so small and have bad pictures. The walls of the place you could hear through both sides of the rooms and the door kept making a weird popping sound.

The hotel is located in a convenient walking distance from Niagara Falls. The room was big and had 3 queen beds. So it was good for a family of 5.

Well priced and close to everything. Bed wasn't great but pillows were amazing. Hot tub was big, perfect for 2 only major complaint was the the cable was bad, most channels were snowy if they worked at all.

For the value, it was a great stay. I would definitely there again in the future. Can't believe I got two beds under $200!

I am giving it a 4-star rating for the the cleanliness, spacious room, free parking, A/C, Wi-Fi, proximity to the falls,, and the friendly staff. Ofcourse don't expect a luxurious hotel standard but for the price this is a very nice motel for a one night stay. The only problem with rooms is that if you have the curtains open, anyone passing by the room will see who is inside.

This place was horrible. When entering room it was very warm. Had to turn air conditioner on that was a very old window unit and never did cool the room down. Very unsanitary. Place smelled musty. Sheets didn't even fit bed. They decor was very outdated. Room was very gloomy. Had to climb flight of stairs to get to room, no elevator. Went back to lobby for ice bucket and ice scoop just sitting on counter no cover and was excepted to get bucket out of dirty cabinet. TV only had 4 channels. We was disconnected from Wi-Fi frequently and when it did work was very slow. The place appeared very unsafe. We paid for 3 nights and left after the first night. When checking out early staff acted as if they could care less. Did nothing to try to rectify my complaints. This place ruined my Niagara Falls experience. I wouldn't give thus place even one star.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I did not have a good experience. Let me share my honest observation and experience with you and you judge for yourself … 1. It is a "motel" not an "Inn" 2. Very expensive to the quality, they took huge advantage of a summer weekend 3. The office smelled food and curry, to me it's disrespecting the customer, basically "this is what it is you like it or not" 4. Room smelled old furniture and cleaning material 5. Room size was ok for two people 6. Flat screen TV, poor quality regardless of any channel we watched 7. There wasn't drinking water, the bed was very soft and wobbly and uncomfortable for two people 8. There were only two very soft pillows 9. Interior was very old, bathroom was perhaps from 60's and not maintained, very cheep toilet paper and uncomfortable 10. There wasn't parking for every room in the court yard, I had to park behind the building where it was an abandoned place and didn't feel a safe place to park a car 11. There is no elevator 12. People were smoking in the outdoor hallway (the only way to in and out of the rooms) 13, Inside temperature was ok for a summer day 14. Website photos do not reflect the real room condition 15. It was noisy and low security/ overall no value for the price I paid. I recommend staying in a valuable hotel far from the town rather than Empress Inn. I hope they make some changes if they expect customers' business.

I didn't have a good experience. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. 1st of all, it doesn't look like a hotel. Secondly there is no proper customer service. There is no drinking water provided, nor there is any elevator. The stay itself will give you a feel that you are staying in a budget lodge with a common shared balcony. Me and my family reached a bit early 2-3 hours before the check in time which is 3 pm. The staff didn't allow to use any washroom so we had to walk all the way to Casino falls view for the washroom. I had a child and I didn't like this experience. I tried to find one good thing about this hotel. And I am giving one star for that, the hotel allowed me to keep my luggage while I am away doing siteseeing. I think focusing on customer satisfaction is more important to do business.

When we first checked in the sheets had stains on them, this should have been the first sign. The sites on line said it had a pool. It doesn't!. It says it has Wi-Fi, it does if your lucky enough to get or stay connected very inconsistent. The t. V only has about five different channels give or take, our room didn't have a working remote. Parking was good but tight. Restaurant, food was good, if you like Indian cuisine. The room we stayed in was definitely outdated could use renovations, however overall cleanliness it wasnt too bad. Will we stay here again, most likely not.

This was definitely one of the worst experiences we had. My sisters and I arrived afternoon, the reception area smelled like an Indian restaurant, and we thought "it's a crappy motel but it looks somewhat clean". Oh, we were dead wrong. The room hasn't been properly cleaned in years, washroom has rusty patches and the towels were iffy. Worst part is — we think we got bed bugs and worried about bringing it back home. Terrible experience for a cheap motel. Invest the extra 20-30$ and stay at a place that is a proper brand. Would not recommend to anyone.

Was worried after booking about the cleanliness of the rooms. Fortunately our room was super clean. It is simple and a little small but we were just there to sleep one night. Had an upgraded room at corner of hotel so it was relatively quiet. We could hear people through walls though. Wi-Fi did not work at all but could have been because we had corner room, possibly far from router. It was a last minute weekend summer booking so any hotel under $200 per night was rare. This was decent value. Great location.

Located between Fallsview and the main tourist attrractions, making it easy to walk to either. Check-in was pretty smooth, considering I booked by phone. Room was meh. Had two queen beds and a pullout couch for 5 people. Phone wasn't working, broken night lock and pullout couch was not ready for use (no sheets). We were told someone would come and get it ready, but no one came. We did follow-up and was told that they were waiting on the individual to come around. What we ended up doing was we used some of the sheets on the queens for it. Got $7.50 back for the extra person charge ($15/person) past 4 guests. Room was clean where it mattered and bed inspection passed. Can't comment to much on service aside check-in and check-out since we couldn't get any conveniently. Check-out was also pretty smooth. They also have $50 deposit which they got me to pay in cash (got it back fine) and never told me about on the phone. Figured they would put it on the card as a hold, but nope. Another thing that annoyed me is when I brought up the issues with the room they started to speak in another language, which I found pretty disrespectful. Tl;dr — Will work on a budget, buy if you're expecting amazing service, look elsewhere. You get what you pay for.

We stayed here for only one night during Canada Day. Talking about service, they were very friendly and attentive. We requested a safe and quiet room free parking and I will give them 5 stars for that. However the free Wi-Fi was very slow. A lot of things I've noticed in our room: the blanket has dried up blood stains on it, no hangers, no plastic cups, no klinex tissue, toilet paper was almost empty, the extra toilet paper was dirty, no sacket near our bed for charging or the lamp, some parts of the carpet around the bed were sticky, and some channels were colour blue… weird. I would stay again but I hope they fix these problems.

I've stayed at this motel multiple times. For the money, it's great value. It's clean and for the most part quiet. Nothing super luxurious, but each room is equipped with a fridge, AC, microwave and a flat screen TV with basic cable. Only complaint I have is the wofi internet is extremely low, but that's just me nitpicking. Oh yeah, free parking.

The room was good. The linen was stained. The phone and remote for the TV didn't work. The room wasn't splashy but if you're just looking for a place to sleep it was fine. The people were quite nice.

Good location — very close to casino and the main street, lots of restaurants nearby. The room was clean with everything working properly including heater, fridge, hot water. (room should be at least warm) No hot water for long periods of time (morning and afternoon) only cold water available (very bad) They should fix this too! I could not take a shower in the morning and I had to heat water in the microwave to wash my face. The staff doesn't care and does nothing to help with the problems (bad attitude and rude) I've been to Niagara Falls many times and this is the worst place I ever stayed in and I hope they fix these problems. I would not suggest anyone stay at this place.

Worst experience ever paid for the room with cash they charged my credit card anyways and won't refund money on website it says 20 dollar security deposit they charged us 50 dollars… DO NOT STAY HERE… completely rude, room wasn't very clean. The worst hotel ever, it has bugs and very bad service. Too expensive for such a low hotel, its better to go for motel instead of this, watch yourself from a very bad disease bedbugs will eat your body alive. Please don't stay there because you will regret it for sure.

The worst Motel ever… beds are awful, says "free Wi-Fi" but doesn't work. Heat is maxed out, washroom smells 24/7, 3 TV channels when the advertised 50. Had to sleep on couch because of Bed Bugs. Very loud and noisy area.
