Planned a short trip to niagara falls for my parents as their anniversary gift. The staff was really helpful and polite. The room was nice and clean. They really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Everything was well maintained and organized.
The price was quite reasonable.

Good location. Room was ok. Bathroom could have been cleaner (tub and floor).
Staff is nice. Good parking, although pricey.

If you're looking for a place to sleep and shower with no bells and whistles, this hotel will have you covered. The room was clean but definitely not up to date. We had a Jacuzzi tub, which did not get used so I cannot review, and a basic, mediocre shower head. Beds were not terribly uncomfortable but certainly not what I would call plush or high end. The sink for the bathroom was outside the toilet area which we found a bit strange. The amenities were basic: shampoo, conditioner and one bar of soap, coffee maker and two packs of coffee. A mini fridge and microwave were also available. I did notice that when (what I assume were nearby) guests used their shower or possibly toilet, you could hear it in our walls. The walk to Clifton Hill and Niagara Falls isn't terrible but by far not the closest you can be. Overall, if you don't mind some walking and plan on not spending more than just sleeping time in the hotel room, it's not a bad deal.

Over priced place. Towels given to us on our 2nd day of stay had either blood or feces on it, threw it on the ground as soon as I saw it. Nobody to help take bags up but that’s ok since front desk said we could use the carriers to load our bags and bring them down after. There were 3 down in the lobby the first night. Was able to get all my bags up myself to our room in 2 trips which was nice. But when checking out, they were all taken so had to make 7 trips to the car to pack up. Staff were all pleasant though. But based on my experience of staying at low end and high end hotels and motels all over Niagara, this was just okay. Barely okay.

I have been in many hotels so far in my life, never have I ever experienced the worst out of a hotel. The room was dirty, not vacuumed properly, my step mom said she had a sugar ring stain on her dresser. The bathroom wallpaper was pealin, with small mold dots in the wall. The shower curtains are way to long, hanging 6" on the floor of the tub, causing a hazardous situation and not that sanitary. The pool is ice cold, not heated at all, indoor/outdoor, not even worth trying to swim. My wife wanted to use hot tub, but it looks unclean from weeks, with white stuff (not soap) floating on top. The restaurant is what topped it off, without being busy, the service was very slow, there was maybe 8-10 tables between two servers, got served for coffee right away, Ordered food, and took over 30 minute. My parents joined us 10 min after ordering our food. Waitress did not come to greet, or serve coffee or take order til 20 minutes after they showed up. In that time my step mom went to the back to find all employees chatting together, she asked the one girl for an extra set of utensils, and she told her "you are not my table" … Our table was "cleaned" but had crumbs and coffee stain all over. I honestly could not say one good thing about this hotel other then the fact that it is only 10min walk from clifton hill.

Parking was extra which should've been free. However, worst part was seeing bugs and cockroaches in the lobby area. Because of that our stay wasn't pleasant at all. Second, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Another reason for bad sleep. Third, the idea of having the sink outside of the washroom is terrible because the sound of water running was too loud. Not to mention the hotel and rooms itself were really old and is in tremendous need of upgrade.

Excellent service and the price was a bargain! Walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Will definitely book again!

Very bad experience at this motel. Just visited May 12 2018. Older lady at reception so rude to start our vacation. She doesn't even welcome you. We booked 2 rooms — queen suite. When booking, they said it will come with sofa bed and sitting area. Not such thing given just 2 queen beds in both stingy rooms. When asked reception what happened to my suite, they said to call wyndham head office because I booked online through wyndham. When I called the head office regarding this issue, one girl put me on hold and I waited for an hour with no one answering the phone. I hung up, end up paying roaming charges for my cell phone. Don't book this place. You can find much better place with parking and breakfast included for same price. I come to Niagara every year and never experienced this worst. Just booked for the name Travelodge, didn't expected this. Will never book Travelodge again. Worst than a Motel. Nothing good about this place. Location, parking extra, breakfast not included, not even sitting area in Lobby, tiny swimming pool. Worst experience as whole I ever had.

We booked 2 rooms here for 1 night in September 2017 on a quick visit to the falls, my husband & I and my parents. We found the hotel to be reasonably priced — you definitely pay a premium for location/overlooking the falls. While this hotel doesn't have the most impressive view, it is in a good location to get down to the falls, and close enough to walk to all the action. The hotel is 3 star, which is accurate. We found it to be clean and the staff friendly. I believe we paid for parking but I can't remember how much exactly.

Super spacious and comfortable rooms.

Hotel Lobby just got renovated, restaurant serves breakfast in the morning, great fast service. Swimming pool and jakuzi is extra bonus. Right by the strip where the action is. No need to pay big bucks where everything is steps away.

We were sent to the wrong room, and then the key to the new room didn't work. Frustrating with kids and luggage in tow after a long drive. The hotel is dated with small rooms. The bathrooms are clean but the room carpets are worn and stained. The pool was chilly and the Jets in the hot tub don't work. Also, you have to go to the front desk for towels… An unpleasant experience to walk to the front foyer with people checking in, a door open and blustering wind blowing through, while in a bathing suit. Received the towels which were worn, thin, small, and frayed with strings around the edges. This is not what we were expecting.

This place is horrible. There was bugs and hair in the bathroom. One of the pictures you could see there's some kind of black dots in my bed. They were not bed bugs however not sure what they were. The afternoon shift staff is extremely unfriendly. I was there twice in one week and she could not have been more cold or rude. Sincerely needs to have a job review. On the positive side the restaurant for breakfast… The lady was extremely friendly and cheery and just brighten my whole day. This is supposed to be a great location for tourist, but it was me I would pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

Terrible, dirty and old, I had the impression that they had not even changed the sheets, not to mention the dust in the room and the dirty and old carpet. The bathroom was unusable.

Nice and clean. Staff was very nice and friendly. Pool and hot tub were lovely. Will definitely go back.

Stayed for a quick overnight at Niagara. Hotel was a great place to crash at the end of the night. Did not spend too much time there.

They moved us to the next room over which we still felt iffy about, so we bought our own cleaning spray so we were comfortable enough to use the jetted tub. And just as we were going to bed we found bed bugs everywhere. We left. Everything is worn and dated, and looked dirty. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else. Do not stay here.

It was very nice to see the falls live because it is not something that happens every day.

Very poor service, I added 2 more guests so I requested for toiletries at the front desk. The front desk lady seems irate and didn't even acknowledge when she sees me standing in the check in counter. Staff should be enthusiastic in serving their guests if they don't have a so inviting room to sleep in. Never again will we book in this hotel. They will lure you with low price to book and choose them. Lesson learned. First time that I didn't book at Marriott Hotel and I paid the price…

Good hotel near Ferry Street and Clifton Hill. No need to drive around Niagara. Everything is within walking distance. Clean rooms. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

One star is one too many. This place was filthy. The first room we got reeked of smoke, and the second one they put us in had small red bugs crawling all over the bedding. Expedia gave us a full refund and we went straight to a five-star hotel. Never taking a chance with cheap, budget hotels again. Never.

Very decent hotel Staff is always welcoming and helpful, 5-10 minutes walk from the falls, excellent breakfast restaurant on site, multiple restaurants in proximity of hotel, multiple bars close by. Not pet friendly but very accommodating towards service animals. Rooms are clean, contain phone, flatscreen tv, fridge, microwave, ironing board&iron. Bathrooms a bit on the small side but well stocked and equipped with bathtub. Im on my second multi day stay now and definitely will stay here again. Only complaints : slow Wi-Fi & paid parking.

Location was amazing. Paying for parking during ff season is kind of sad. Breakfast quality and just offering toast and butter is just sad. Room was OK. Nothing special about it. I guess they are in business because of location only. Everything in room looked old and below quality. Towels were clean but super old. If they upgrade on quality, I will definitely go to stay there again but until then. No.

Great experience! For $55 a night I was skeptical but I would say Travelodge was at or above the standard of other hotels I've stayed at. If you're looking for a reliable, affordable stay close to the strip then I'd book here.

We had two rooms and both were clean and had a wonderful view. Beds were big and comfortable. Prices were also great — perfect for a short trip to the Niagara Falls. Service could be more talkative and friendly. Parking service is a negative — way too expensive.

On 06/08/2017 after having the keys, we drop not business and go out to stroll, on our return not possible to open the room because our guide is wrong hotel because there are two of the same name in the city, it is not the worries, what surprised me is the receptionist who is allowed to go back to our room in our absence, pick up the business of the whole family and hand them to the guide of Sinorama saying (Osti sinorama)! To a company that brings in hundreds of customers a week.
If you want to go to this hotel, try to avoid this receptionist, or take the other Travelodge in the same city.

We stayed one night at this hotel near the Niagara Falls. I would not return since very dated and dusty. The carpet was full of poor… breakfast not enough.
Look for more we give a star just because of the experience.

Our room was clean and OK. The breakfast in our case was rather frugal — certainly for the local conditions in order — in Germany one would have to be ashamed as a hotel for this offer. Fair 3Sterne.

Good location near the main street with all the restaurants and tourist attractions. The hotel is oldish, but it's clean. The air conditioner makes a lot of noise. For the price it is a good place in the area.

The hotel is very close to the waterfalls and the many activities and shops of the city. Breakfast is very succinct: coffee, apple juice, bread crumb, jam. There is a swimming pool and sauna But we did not test them. The rooms are spacious, with 2 large beds and a bathtub, mini fridge and microwave.
We only stayed there one night but no particular reproach to do.

This place is horrible. I'm still in the room I'm stuck! the internet is not so great so I hope this works! lol. They have shared doors in the rooms with the people in the next room! you will be woken up not by loud noises but by coughing and whispering because you can hear everything happening in the room next to you! I called the staff and they told me I should have come down sooner and I told them I was out in niagara being a tourist? and they replied saying then it was not their problem. I am so tired. If you stay here you had better hope you have a quiet neighbour and even if you don't you can hear a freaking pin drop in the room next to you. The staff told me hours ago they would call me back and no one has gotten back to me. Worst hotel experience of my life. Take your money somewhere else. Trust me.

I hate to give a hotel a bad review, especially when the staff is so good. But there were things here that could not be overlooked. First the good. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good, hot and plentiful. Then the bad. The Wi-Fi service was very bad, spotty and very weak. For a business traveler or anyone wanting to stay in touch, this was not acceptable. The room didn't have a microwave or refrigerator. These are essential for doggie bags. The only ice machine was on the first floor. The towels were very small and worn thin. There was no TV in a lobby. There is always a TV in the lobby! Finally "Bed Bugs". We were part of a tour group and our room "607" seemed to be the only one with Beg Bugs. We only saw two bugs and I don't think we were bitten. I hope we didn't take any home. We informed the staff and were told that they were last inspected 5 months earlier. More frequent inspections might be in order.

I've stayed here before when it was Quality Hotel and it's always been a comfortable hotel with a nice pool/spa area and a good location. The $9 parking fee sucks, but it's like that everywhere in Niagara Falls. Wi-Fi did work fine in the room (unlike some reviews said) and the jetted tub in the 8th floor room was nice and roomy for a bathtub style spa. The only thing that really rubbed me the wrong way is the deceptive advertising on Travelodge's own booking page. It has a big animated "sun" that says "Free Breakfast" on it. You apparently have to click on it and then carefully read some fine print with a * mark or you'll get to the hotel and find out the hard way they're full of it. If you use ANY available discount (be it AAA, Senior, Government, etc. ) to get a slightly better rate on the room then the so-called "free" breakfast is NOT included. It's $8 a person. They told me if I wanted to switch the room to the regular rate for the next day I would get the "free" breakfast. Excuse me, but how is that "free" if I have to pay $16 more a night? Those discounts require a membership at an auto club or senior status or being a government worker. They're not there to rip you out of your free breakfast every time you go somewhere so the hotel can recoup the discount out of your mouth! That room was still $98 a night + tax (which is very high in Canada) + $9 parking per day (and don't think they won't count a half day either, making it $18 for a 1 night stay in many cases).
