Just left this morning after 4 great nights. We loved the decor, the pub and the food. Staff were wonderful and we definitely appreciated the Starbucks coffee, available any time of the day or night Hugely recomend staying here, the renovations are looking beautiful!

Their staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and the food is on time and reasonably priced. I will recommend that establishment to any one that asks. A very good addition to our small town. ’

Great staff! We felt welcomed and the interior is nicely decorated and clean. Very pleasantly surprised.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable! I loved the whole mountain lodge feel of the place and the tasteful decor. The breakfast buffet was amazing and so good! All staff were very polite and helpful. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

We stayed there on the weekend of July 7th 2018. I couldn’t complain about the front staff that day and then the next morning at checkout. For the price we paid and the room we had wasn’t what was on the website, the hot breakfast buffet was cold food and service was not great! Was to be contacted by management instead they emailed me over the issues we had concerns over. Then when I called to speak with the owner he was very disrespectful towards my concerns and said his establishment was not for us and should have stated in a motel.

Rooms are great. Super clean and modern. Breakfast was great. Hotel staff are so sweet. And there’s fresh popcorn in the lobby. Who doesn’t love that? I recommend this spot.

It was a well priced and clean room. I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning very much. I would recommend the hotel.

Fantastic service. The staff is super friendly and the desk clerk really went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. It I still partially under renovation however, a very beautiful place to stay. We had an amazing dinner at the bistro. The food is excellent.

Meets all my requirements for a basic hotel room. Everything was clean and the shower was hot. We were disappointed to discover that they were in middle of renovations so the taphouse was closed. One would assume from the name that the hotel would be near the river, which it isn't. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was quite good. Overall it's a decent place and will be much nicer once the renovations are complete.

Everything you need is right there. Good rooms, restaurant & bar. We've stayed overnight here for the past 3 years on our may to northern Ontario fishing trips. This place is always a welcomed oasis.

They've done a lot of work to the place and esthetically it looks great outside and in (especially compared to how it looked before) but their quality and service is shotty at best. They started off really strong and the food here was incredible but lately it is more disappointing than anything. VERY EXPENSIVE, which is not a problem if you can expect quality but sadly it just is not there consistently enough that I would call myself a regular customer.

I like it twice I have stayed there… and they had an upgrade… its like cool looking outdoorish kinda place… nature feel to the hotel which I like… its great…

Cold rooms when it's — 30. They put a lot of work into it but didn't seem to insulate. Nice decor though and good breakfast.

Great restaurant menu with different choices than the usual. They have a great wing night as well. Menu items are on the pricier side.

Decent hotel, staff was great, rooms were pretty much what you'd expect. Overall good.

We took my mother out for supper last night for her Birthday supper. Copper River Inn was… not a good experience. Usually, if the waitress dumps 1/2 of someone's meal on the table they offer to replace it. Instead, she just looked at me and said, "Good catch" as I was emptying out my hands of food I caught and putting food from the table back onto the plate. Good thing our food was only luke warm. Some fries from another plate were dumped on the floor. It seemed like she also forgot Melissa's order. I shared mine with Mel until her's came 5 to 10 minutes later. Not all of our food came, it was on the bill. When we questioned about our appetizer being on the bill and not receiving it. Our waitress said, "Oh! They are still back there. Would you like them"? This was over an hour later…

Had a fantastic time at the copper top. Clean modern rooms, friendly staff, and the best breakfast smorg I've ever had at a hotel. Will deffinitley be booking there again on my next trip to Fort Francis.

We went there tonight for dinner. The waitress brought our drinks and took our orders. She never came back until she brought our meal which was 1 1/2 hours later. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. She never once came back to see how the meal was or ask if we would like another drink. The food was good but not worth waiting so long for. Plus it was very expensive.

This may be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. No, in all fairness, the crack den hotel I stayed in by accident in while driving through Nashville was a little worse. Good thing I am heading to my cabin as I have clean sheets in my suitcase. Highlights: -Dirty sheets -Very tired facility -Burned out fluorescent lights in bathroom -TV signal so bad almost unwatchable -Spiders in the room -Both beds terrible and completely worn out -$20 burger in bar took 45min before I left and walked to McDonald down the street. -For the "bargain" price of $160+/ night… In short, I figured I was choosing a hotel a step up from the Super 8 down the road… I was very wrong.

Awesome room, friendly staff and the hot tub and pool are lots of fun! I will be staying there any time I find myself in Fort Frances.

Discovered this place about a year ago after the other motels in town were booked. Now my regular place to stay when I'm in the area. Interesting decor — I like it. Friendly, helpful staff. Great restaurant and bar. They now have a breakfast buffet included on the room price. Good, but not great. I think I liked the previous cafe setting with breakfast menu better.

My review is 2 parts. First the hotel, the check in was very easy and pleasant. I was with my 66 yr old father and given a 2nd story room, I would have like to been asked if we had a preference on floors. The room itself was nice and seemed clean. The soaps and toiletries left in the bathroom were a "Mother Earth" brand of nasty combinations of plants and scents. I used the shampoo and it felt like I has gas poured in my eyes and is smelled like peppermint so bad it took my breath away. The breakfast buffet in the morning was as good as I have had anywhere! It had a wide range of meats, eggs, potatoes, pastries, fruits and juices. The second part of my review was the bar/lounge area. First of all, the local fixture at the end of the bar TIm, was a pleasure to chat with and discuss life, outdoors and the worlds problems. With 6 people at the bar, the gunslinger of a bartender thought he had them lined up 100 deep. He was tossing bottles, splashing while pouring all over the bar. The fruit flies around the bar were horrible. I didn't see one cap or spigot cover on any bottles. I'll bet most of them had fly floaters in them. We then settled our bar tab before going to a table to eat. I used my credit card to pay, they hand me a device that evidently I had to put the card in, and push a bunch of buttons to make it work. I had no idea what to do, I've never been responsible for running my own card!

Stayed there for a night with friends to get out of the house for a day, very kind and helpful staff, very clean rooms and the pool was great! We had loads of fun and Enjoyed the welcoming gift of chocolates and fudge in the room. Aswell as in the washroom the soaps were peppermint and smelt just amazing. We enjoyed every bit of our nightly stay and woke up nice and early for a beautiful breakfast in the dining area.

It is comfortable and clean. A little dated in the rooms but the amenities are decent. The restaurant is excellent.

Decent enough rooms. Good choice of in house restaurants. The Bistro North restaurant had a nice varied menu and was surprisingly good.

Surprisingly a really good stay. Didn't look that great from the outside, but the room was nice, great shower head! There's a pool, though I didn't use it, and there's no free breakfast. Nice place though.

The food was good but not as good as the process seem to suggest. Very expensive for what you're getting. Seemed pretty empty for a Saturday night.

Changed management a few years ago and is a lot better. The food is excellent and the walleye is highly recommended. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and would be great for a larger party or a romantic dinner for two.

Great place to stay for a hockey tournament. We stayed in a 2 Queen room, it was cozy, but not crowded for 2 adults and 2 kids. The bathroom was small, but sufficient. The staff was very friendly and patient with multiple teams staying there. We recieved "good luck in your tournament" gift bags, that had homemade granola bars in them. We will definitely stay here next year!

Overall, the look of the hotel and restaurants are very nice. I haven't stayed in a room, but we did dine in their restaurant. The service was slow when we were there. They were training someone, so there were always two people coming to our table. I would have preferred an introduction and explanation that they were training an employee. That would have made it less awkward. The wait for food was long, but I anticipated that as the food was complex. I ordered pizza and my partner order steak. The steak was smothered in sauce, which neither of us liked. If a steak is good, it shouldn't need sauce. I ordered pizza, which was not at all what I anticipated. The duck sausage tasted and looked like thick salami. It was much to thick for a pizza topping. The burgers the people next to us ordered looked really good. If we go back, we would order something different. For the price, I think some improvements need to be made for us to dine again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms recently updated, restaurant a little pricy but worth every penny. 40 creek burger and bison meatloaf are great along the choices. Wi-Fi is hit and miss. Good gym across the street but not included.

Any for wing night. 32 flavors! Atmosphere is usually great, but tonight was too loud due to a party of some sort. We ate some of our nachos and wings, then left. Will still go back but try to sit as far away from a party if there's one going on…

Extremely friendly staff, very clean, great food and room service. Spa and sauna needed repair but it looks like they're beginning some renovations that will make this place a bit more modern.

Rooms were rather dark and not so fancy, but everything was extremely clean and the service was awesome. Complimentary cookies and chocolate upon arrival, stocked keurig machine and free popcorn in the room, and the restaurant food was reasonably priced and SO good. At first the keurig didn't work in my room but maintenance brought me a new one within minutes. I didn't have time to swim but I checked our the pool and it was very nice and clean. Overall awesome stay and would definitely recommend!

I'm very impressed with the rooms, they have everything you need including a refrigerator, TV and microwave. They have a keurig machine in a room with multiple offerings and a cookie and chocolates as well. The bed is comfortable. Great value as well.

Service was fantastic! A little mix up with an order but it was corrected immediately!

We stayed at 2 other hotels in Fort Frances Ontario and this was by far the best one. It has a great bar and restaurant and the food was excellent. The staff are really helpful and friendly and we all got welcome cookies and chocolate! From what I hear this hotel has new owners and they've obviously spent a lot of money upgrading the rooms. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend the wood oven pizza from the restaurant!

Great rooms. Free cookies and fudge was a great surprise.

Dog friendly but not as clean as we would have liked. The reteraunt makes a great breakfast!
