My husband's family has been coming here from the states for 5 generations now… This gorgeous Muskoka destination has been ingrained in our family heritage and we come back year now with our own son (the 5th generation) and the entire immediate family. Great food, gorgeous lodging, great friends. The BEST service. They have stood the test of time while other similar places in the area have shuttered.

I've seen a lot of change at Port Cunnington Lodge over the last 20 something years, but it has never lost it's charm. The view over the lake is incredible, and there's always plenty going on. All the cottages are amazing, with some being more modern yet maintaining that cottage feel. Staff are incredible helpful and polite, while remaining in the background. The grounds are always beautiful, even with this wicked drought.

Staff was friendly and food was good but bar menu was severely lacking for a place of its caliber. Unfortunate for an otherwise nice evening.

Went boating all day on a beautiful thanksgiving Monday. We made a reservation for opening time @ 6pm. We arrived 20 minutes early. The friendly staff sat us down and brought us drinks and took our order. The server was very engaging and had a great sense of humour. The brie pastry start was insane! I can honestly say it was the most delicious meal I have had in a very long time. The ribs were literal fall off the bone! And that Rich Bbq sauce! What were those tasty yellow things? I don't care I want more. Can't believe it was only $45 a Plate! Creme brulie! Oh man. I'm going back. Love Port Cunnington!

My sister had a wedding here. The staff was super helpful and the resort was perfect! I highly recommend it!

Booked a dinner reservation at the Main Lodge to celebrate a birthday, and these guys out did themselves! Menu selection was extensive (good luck deciding — you'll want to try everything! ), food was top notch, and the service was outstanding. Also, we treated our birthday guest to a personalized cake made on the premises, and it did not disappoint. The staff here definitely helped make our dining experience a memorable one! Hope to visit again sometime in the future.

Nice rooms, great restaurant and the lake and facilities were perfect. Staff are all very friendly too. Would definitely come back.

Small, historic resort property. The food is fabulous. A very convivial atmosphere among the patrons. A waitress sang an ancient hymn, not sure whether that is normal or not but it was nice.

Amazing. Have been vacationing here for one week every year since 2008. The staff are incredible, and amenities include a beautiful Tennis Court, Beach Area, Dart and Pool Lounge, and many more. Large selection of cottages, including more modern accommodations, and older buildings with a more rustic feel. Highly recommend to anyone who loves the cottage lifestyle.

Gorgeous cottage resort on Lake of Bays — definitely planning a stay in the near future!

Here for a wedding and definitely a really nice place. All the cottages are very well done and the grounds are well kept.

This place is great. There are so many things to do!

We've been coming to Port Cunnington Lodge for the last 5 years and our 2 weeks there are the highlight of our summer. We stay in the Boathouse (on the map), which has 2 nice bedrooms, a livingroom, bathroom, and kitchenette, and a porch overlooking the docks and the lake. This cabin is up above the library and boathouse supplies, so it is right on the lake and in the center of the action (so if you want to be off by yourselves, take a cabin further away). The cabins are all clean and well-appointed, and the newer ones are gorgeous. The beach is spacious and safe for young children, the bay is quiet and calm, but those more intrepid have plenty of destinations to paddle to, with Bigwin Island and Haystacks Bay close enough to head for. The food (mandatory breakfast and dinner for those cottages without full kitchens, such as the Boathouse units) is excellent. There is a full buffet breakfast with many hot entrees as well as the usual cold offerings, and dinner is 3 delicious courses, chosen from at least 3 options each evening. If you want beautiful surroundings, comfortable lodging, and good meals prepared for you and served by friendly, helpful staff, you can't find a better place than Port Cunnington Lodge!
