An excellent service. There for a buisness meeting. Rooms were nice, staff cordial and food in and out in a timely manner. Only lost points due to ants in the meeting room and a mix up with rooms and an incoming guest thinking they had my room.

Friendly helpful staff that interacted with my kid in fun ways. Clean nice rooms, comfy beds, nice atmosphere, great breakfast. No complaints, excellent place to stay. Nice big size pool and large water slide that was safe for even a toddler to go alone.

Great rooms, gresg buffet selection, but the pool area was really dirty and not at all maintained. We booked with them for the waterslide for our son, but the area was just disgusting. We will be looking for a hotel with a cleaner pool area next time.

Quick check in, lovely lobby and breakfast area, very good service, has all the amenities I would expect. Several all good dining places close to the hotel, and not too far from Stanfield International airport. Dartmouth Crossing outlets are at its front door.

The service is decent, nothing to rave about. They do a decent job at cleaning your room. The front desk is friendly enough and seem to be very calm.

Rooms are big and spacious. Pool has a tall slide. Hours of pool say 9 am to 10 pm but front desk said 10 pm to 11 pm is for adults only. We payed for extended stay. Check out is 11 pm our package was to 2 pm. Our key cards stopped working at 1pm. Front desk seems to be understaffed only 1 person.

Love the renovations! Pool is great for the kids. Staff is welcoming. Best free breakfast I’ve had ever at hotel I think. We live in the area and choose here to stay when we want a little stay cation with the kids. They even have cookies at the front desk some times! Only lost a star from me because I really like the option of room service, but I believe it is normal for the Hampton inn and suites to not have room service. Either way, surrounded by restaurants in this area makes up for it. Also free Wi-Fi that isn’t slow at all!

There was a lot of noise due to renovations but I would assume that will get better. The breakfast is decent and runs for 4 hours. Standard rooms are very "no frills" but comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. They seem to host families and "young" athletes on weekends.

I was offered a freshly renovated room on the 5th floor. It had that new car smell from the carpets… The room is ok (bathroom with tub, no mini fridge — yet, etc. ), but air is stagnant as there is a lack of proper ventilation. They failed to replace the noisy, outdated wall heater/HVAC system. Housekeeping saves the day for an extra star. … Sorry Paris!

This hotel is a great place to stay when you are in town to shop at Dartmouth crossing. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The hot breakfast is always good. You are within walking distance of the movie theater, several good restaurants and bars. Also the Ikea just opened in the area. Costco is also very close to this area. You are able to walk to most shops and the area has a nice feel. Well lit at night as well.

Wonderful stay. Suite was nice and large Room was clean. Loved the pool. Staff was pleasant and efficient.

Service was good! But the pillows were terrible! gotta change the pillows. Or Get your own kinda thing! I saw other guests were getting in and out with their pillows.

Overpriced for what it's worth. Clock didn't give the correct time, I called the front desk and wrote a note to the cleaning person asking them to please put the correct time and still wasn't done after 2 days. People partying in the hallways, called reception to let them know and nothing was done to fix the problem. At this price range, you have better and much nicer accommodation options which are located not far from this hotel.

Nice hotel, conviently located at the shopping area of Dartmouth Crossing. Room was clean, but the staff did not seem all that friendly. Maybe because the property was full? Nice looking pool area and exercise room, and hot buffet breakfast included make this a good place to stay.

Nice and Clean hotel, the staff are really helpful and friendly. Good breakfast included with your stay. There's a small fitness room and a pool with a water slide (i didn't get to enjoy it this time around but hopefully I will next time. ) There is also a mini laundromat if you need to wash some clothes. Stores are just a short walk away if there's anything that you need. I will be going back to this hotel if I'm in the area again.

Nice place, clean, easy access from the highway. Located in Dartmouth with the bridge under construction make an easy travel to Halifax, no traffic ferry. The place is New, the staff is great and the kids loved the waterslide.

Nice updated clean hotel. Friendly helpful staff, decent free breakfast in the morning, movie night for the kids. Pool has a water slide that kids and adults will love. Only complaint is that the sofa bed had a very thin but they provided extra blankets to make it thicker. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was a great hotel. We arrived late, with tired kids, and the staff at the front desk could not find our reservation. They offered us use of their comfortable lounge sofas while they sorted out the problem. They were able to (fairly) quickly sort out the glitch and get us to our room. We had a spacious room for very reasonable rate with comfortable beds and pillows, linens, etc. The bathroom was well stocked and the room was clean. There are a lot of shops in the same plaza, a small playground, walking paths, and a great park across the walking bridge. The complimentary breakfast is definitely the best I've seen at any hotel so far or since. With hot breakfast options, even an oatmeal station, it was on par with what most hotels charge for a breakfast in their restaurant. I was really impressed with the hotel all around and would definitely stay here with my family again.

Hotel is close to the airport and easily accessible from the highway. Indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic. Rooms were spotless and beds were very comfortable. Good size standard King room with sofa to watch TV. I'll definitely be staying here again when I come back next month. Only drawback is the website says they accommodate guests with a currency exchange, but they do a one for one going from US dollars to Canadian currency. Exchange rate was 0.75 US to 1.00 Canadian. Better to use a local bank.

This hotel is the best. The breakfast included in your stay is awesome. The rooms are immaculate and also, the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The facility was quite large and had a decent aroma about it. The catering however, was not that impressive. In fact, it was quite disappointing. The staff seemed to be having quite a struggle getting the food out. Additionally, when the staff were approached, they were very forthcoming and quite rude. However, overall it was a good experience for a good function.

Good sized rooms, with couch, desk, in room coffee machine. Excellent bed with a great mattress. Not much of a view but that's a geographic thing, nothing to do with the hotel itself. Nice breakfast included with waffle bar. Staff was great, very efficient at check in and check out.

Very nice Hampton, with all the amenities you might need if you don't have much time to get out. Service was top notch as well.

Everything was very well laid out. The rooms felt luxury and well maintained. Service around the hotel was impeccable.

Our family enjoys going on Stay-cations and we decided to go to the Hampton in Dartmouth Crossing, as we've been there before and had a great time. We were informed that the pool was closed the week prior to our stay due to maintenance. What they failed to inform us was that it was emptied for the week, only to be refilled on Friday. The pool was so cold all weekend we couldn't swim in it. We ended up driving to Cole Harbour Place to go s swimming instead. If we knew that this would be the case, we would have booked another date. It's left a bad taste in our mouths. I'm not sure if we will go back again next time we want to have a stay-cation.

Conference room was nice and big, coffee and lunch was provided and was quite good.

The suite was decorated nicely and was clean. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the free breakfast is always great. Located in Dartmouth Crossing, the is plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

Stayed for business. One of the dirtiest hotels I have ever been in. Very sad since it is not an older hotel — the upkeep should be much better. Brown ring in toilet, filthy shower, dust everywhere. Would never, ever return. Were hosting a hockey team while I was staying there — which is not an excuse as the dirt had obviously been there for months — I stay in Hotels 80% of the year and this was just downright unacceptable.

My husband and I and our 15 month old Golden Retriever Sunny recently stayed for our first time last weekend during a football game in the valley that our son was playing. I/we were so very impressed from the initial call to reserve the room, the two nights we stayed and check out. The staff, the room, the breakfast, the hotel… was fantastic. Because it was her first stay in a hotel our young dog was a bit nervous… but not for long. Thank you to all the staff that made "us" all feel welcome and comfortable. We will definitely stay with you again.

Ok but definately not great, room was nice but it was noisy, walls are paper thin, there was a dog barking on our floor and when we complained in the morning was told oh someone must have snuck it in, like it was no big deal, not even an apology… hot breakfast was dry and tasteless.
