We had to book this hotel for a few nights because of damage to our home from the hurricane, we arrived at 9 at night and were informed by the manager that we couldn't check in because my husband didn't have his license on him even though he had every other id and the credit card he booked with. He informed us we could cancel our reservation and rebook it under my name but we would be charged twice because it would be classified as a no show and they have a 48 hour cancellation policy. We did finally get a room and the carpet was very dirty, the couch had a stain on it and the other seat had what looked to be a cigarette burn in it. The room service attendant was very friendly.

Front desk never had a clerk. Always waiting for someone to show up, constantly unmanned and when they did show up, they were rude and unprofessional. Restaurant charges gratuity even tho the service is not timely or efficient. There are so many hotels in the area that are way better. As someone who travels and stays in hotels a lot, this one is poorly managed. I do not recommend.

Our experience was very disappointing to say the least, from a dirty coffee maker, to empty water bottle on the floor, to not vacuumed, to lack of apology or any compensation from Management. This made our stay unpleasant and not wanting to return.

The bed was extremely comfortable, the large shower head and style of the shower was very luxurious. When we called the front desk for anything, they were always very prompt and courteous. The location was great and close to highway and shops. Definitely recommend this hotel!

We had the best time kicking off our March break here. The desk let us know about the family friendly menu at the restaurant and also about the special sundae bar in the evening. The room was nice, it had everything we needed. I loved the extra chair and chaise because there were five of us so we were able to spread out when hanging out in there. We also had a view of the pool which was nice because we could see how busy it was. The pool area was perfect with chairs for spectators right in front of the pool. Great waterside and a kiddy pool and a deep side. There was also a splash pad and hot tub. It was everything the kids could want. We went twice the first day and again in the morning. We had supper and sundaes at the restaurant in the evening and everything was great and the service was awesome. We had breakfast in the restaurant in the morning. Prices were really good. I didn’t bring a thing with us to snack on so it was they had a grab and go store. There’s good coffee too. It was 10/10. Great for families. Will be our go to now.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. However, this trip we stayed at the Courtyard. We have had such great food at their restaurant called the Pitch and Pivot. We made a point to have lunch of fish and chips. So tasty and fresh. We also enjoyed breakfast there two mornings. The servers are super friendly too. We will be back.

First off the hotel itself was great! Super clean and the kids had a blast at the pool but honestly the 2 ladies at the front desk made our trip fantastic they were so accommodating and helpful and we will 100% be back thanks to the great service!

Grace was simply the best. I mean, I've had good greatings before, but she is next level. Always a big smile on her face (even with a mask on you could tell, imagine! ), very patient with everybody, even when my hardly English speaking kids wanted to ask some information. I know they have a lot more to do than usually with Covid and everything, but she was always courteous in every encounter we had with her. Room was very comfortable, the pillows are amazing, and breakfast was the topping on the cake. Our waitress could speak French, much to our delight. All in all, one of the best stays of my entire life. Thank you. We will definitely be coming back!

We decided to stay here for a couple of nights during Covid just to get away. The rates were excellent! The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are great and all staff are super friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant that is very reasonable and our kids LOVED the sundae bar they have on Friday and Saturday nights. It is also super close to Dartmouth Crossing and the highway to get into Halifax. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

One of the best hotel stays I’ve EVER had! They wow-ed me from the moment I walked through the door until we left!

I love that they have different options for kids in the pool area. They have a water slide, Splash pad, kid pool, pool hot tub sauna. I didn't get bac looks when my kids ran all over the place.

Stayed here over the weekend for two nights. Rooms were small otherwise great. Pool area is so dangerous, the slide is directly in front of the steps and my two littles were continuously getting hurt by bigger kids bolting down the slide. They also didn’t honour my status card. Which I have heard they have done for others.

Had the best time and stay @ Delta Hotels by Marriott Dartmouth. The staff were professional and courteous. They took care of us! The room was immaculate and gorgeous! The food was excellent. Thanks again to the chef and our server (Roberta). Together they made our anniversary celebration extra special. We’ll definitely be back!

This hotels new renovations are amazing. It is so up to date with decor & technology. There's a great indoor kids splash pad & swimming pool + huge water slide. It's located in the perfect spot for a person trying to access all of the HRM. Having a Starbucks and huge lounge doesn't hurt either. I was totally happy with all aspects of this place.

Excellent room, service and amenities this trip v stayed in few other Deltas too on our way from Connecticut but this was by far the best and worth the amount you pay for the luxury of staying in a Delta hotel. They have an awesome pantry for the elite Marriott members, the breakfast is yummy and can be requested on room service. I mean what else do you want. Excellence delivered as expected.

We were very happy with our first stay here. The room was well appointed with plenty of plugs and USBs, coat hooks, etc. Beds were comfy to the point that we wrote down the brand and model for our next purchase. Nice lighting. Great bathroom and shower. Water bottle filling station in the ice room. Close to Dartmouth Crossing. Will definitely stay again.

Very modern rooms great comfort. The bar/restaurant was very functional with good selections. Room service was prompt and good, reasonably priced. BreAKfast was reasonably priced and well prepared, great coffee. Staff was excellent. Great stay.

Very impressed with our stay here. The staff were accommodating and very friendly. The hotel which was recently renovated was beautiful and very clean. Our suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel bar had very tastey drinks. A great place for families with the water slide and splash pad located on the lower level. We had a blast and were beyond happy about our stay! We will certainly be back!

Honestly, the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Blinds broke and couldn't be fixed until the next day, so we had the pleasure of the blinding light from the pool fill our room all night (which is all we could see from our window). Room was not cleaned once in our three night stay, no hot water for two of the days. We called down a few times for towels, finally we were told we would have to come get them because they were too busy to bring them to us. When we checked out after mentioning all these things we were asked,
"What is it you would like us to do? "
We were offered 50$ off our next stay which we promptly declined, as we would never go back. This is just an old hotel with a cosmetic makeover. We travel a lot to the city and we've never had an experience like this one.

Great hotel with friendly staff in a good location. We had an oversized queen room that was modern with really comfortable mattresses. The shower was fantastic. Our room rate came with the breakfast plan. It was great with fresh fruit, boiled eggs bread juice meats and cheeses ceareals and got oatmeal. Etc. A great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Had the most amazing stay here! The staff were so incredible to us, and the room was so beautiful that we changed our Friday night plans so we could stay in the room and enjoy it while we had it! We had dinner ordered to the room, which only took about 30
minutes to arrive and it was DELICIOUS! The chocolate hazelnut torte was probably one of the best desserts I have ever had — would recommend to any chocolate lover! Breakfast was also great — lots of choices and friendly staff! We didn’t get the chance to use the pool but went down to see it and what a great spot! The most ideal place if you have your kids — that splash pad is awesome! The hotel location was perfect so close to all the shopping in Dartmouth! Not a single negative thing to say about the hotel, and can’t wait to come back — we didn’t want to leave!

Recently fully renovated to high standards. Wonderful and very professional personnel. New pool splash pad. Excellent exercise area with the latest equipment. Great meeting and conference space. Restaurant and banquet food is unparalleled in Halifax.

We went to the hotel for a company evening event. Wow the changes from the old Ramada days are evident the minute you walk in. Very comfortable lobby, internet lounge, restaurant bar arrangements. Our buffet meal was top shelf. Parking was free with lots of space.

Top notch! I'd give 6 stars. Stayed 3 days, plus hosted a venue at one of their meeting rooms during my stay. Excellent, superb quality all the way through… From staff, to the cleanliness of the facility, consistent quality of onsite food. I can't imagine another hotel providing a better quality of service than this team. I had a king-size room, and it was immaculate and super clean. Ordered room service one evening and it was prompt and the food was exquisite (ordered the grilled salmon on bed of lentils). The onsite Starbucks & bar/lounge restaurant was a great bonus as well. Their gym facilities + pool/sauna was the best I've seen in a very long time. All of the machines + free weights rivals some paid membership gyms. Overall, I don't think I would want to stay anywhere else next time I come to this area.

Very good. There for a business event. Meeting areas very clean, well lit and easily accessible. Staff was great as well as the catering provided.

Friendly staff, bright, clean, recently renovated rooms. Breakfast buffet is a little small but try the eggs benedict. They took a look at my Marriott account and made sure I had all of the amenities I enjoy. If you're looking for resort style living, you probably shouldn't book a hotel on brownlow. If you're looking for a place to stay that's close to an office on Brownlow, you won't do better.

Great family friendly hotel. Restaurant was so good we didn't eat anywhere else. Staff was easy coast friendly. I'll be going there every trip to the Halifax area.

We only stayed here for two days after staying at another hotel for 12. I wish we had stayed the whole time at the Delta. The rooms were fantastic for the price. Very comfortable beds and nice tv. More than expected from a standard room. The pool and gym are exceptional. Hands down, the most fully stocked gym I have ever seen in a hotel. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. The restaurant in the lobby is a different story. First night I ordered a steak medium rare and got a piece of shoe leather that had been cooked beyond well done. My wife got nachos that came out of a Tostitos bag with canned salsa and a pile of cheese in the middle that wasn't even remotely melted. The second night was strike two when I ordered the fish and chips and got fish so greasy I had to soak up the grease with paper towel. I only ate half of it. In all fairness to the restaurant I did not complain and give them the opportunity to redeem themselves. The bar was great and the staff super friendly, the restaurant just needs to step up their food game. Not impressed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I might just suggest eating elsewhere.

Attended the Delta Dartmouth for a work function. Lobby is absolutely beautiful after the renovations, and our banquet rooms used were also touched up to a modern day standard. Dined in the restaurant for breakfast and lunch for both days. Continental buffet is a very reasonable price with a very reasonable selection. Service from Laura was very attentive and welcoming. Keri was my server the following day, and she was also in line with what I expect in service from Delta hotels. Food quality was very good considering the price, for which I definitely recommend the club sandwich. Restaurant is also seamlessly entered from the lobby, which you may or may not enjoy. I have yet to see the new rooms, but my experiences in the restaurant and banquet rooms will definitely bring me back to this location for a night's stay.

Newly renovated modern hotel with spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff at both the front desk and in the bar/restaurant. Great fitness facility, and pool with water slide, sauna and hot tub. Good central location in Dartmouth, convenient to both Halifax and it's airport. Breakfast buffet not free but good value. Restaurant food of good quality, especially fish and chips and seafood chowder.

The Delta Hotel by Marriott in Nova Scotia is a beautiful newly renovated full service hotel The rooms are large and bright. The decor is sleek a d modern. All staff is friendly and helpful. There is a large Lobby with lots of seating. The restaurant is large and serves Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very happy with our experience. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, and it was spacious, well furnished, clean, and comfortable. The staff is incredible — my 4 year old and childcare provider stayed on New Years and the thoughtful staff placed us literally as far away from noise as possible from the party and allowed us a late checkout so my daughter could have one more swim. The breakfast servers seemed a bit over-worked, definitely needed more staff on to manage the crowd. But breakfast was tasty with a nice variety. The pool and splash pad was fun — pool area a bit small but has a big waterslide and comfortable hot tub, plus a shallow wade pool for little ones, which I think is a great idea. Overall, my only recommendation would be parking — the spaces are very narrow and parking anything larger than a car is a bit of a challenge.

This hotel is beautiful and fresh since it's renevation! The staff is friendly and facilities are spectacular! Will recommend to all friends and family needing a spot to stay.

Well how to start this off this is a very nice place very friendly resturant staff exellent room service but they advertised a private entrance and complementary breakfast which was not as advertised breakfast was $50 and just a normal room like any other but paid an extra $50 for a king room with a private entrance not to mention the deposit of $190.03 on top of the room rate paid cash and now we have to wait 3-5 business days to get it debited back to my account never have I been treated like this at any hotel organization absolutely disgusted. We wouldn't stay here again the managers answer was " the staff entered you payment wrong not much I can do ".

Recently renovated. Conference room was fairly nice. Lobby was really well done in the renovation. A little mix up with the projector which delays the start of the presentation but nothing significant.

Amazing newly renovated hotel that I look forward to staying at again. Nice modern look and feel. Clean and professional place. The lobby has a really nice natural wood feel and the rooms are spectacular. Some are massive suites and others are reasonably sized 2 room units. I highly recommend.

The rooms are modern with beautiful details and artwork. The bathroom is spacious, clean, and bright. The bed is comfortable and easy to fall asleep on. Guest services were wonderful. The check in was smooth and quick. When we forgot a bottle opener for our wine, one was brought up to us without delay. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

I am writing this review while I continue to wait for my bill. I asked for the bill about 15 minutes ago. The curt and slow wait staff have yet to show an ounce of urgency for any table. But perhaps most tragic was the food. If they were aiming to taste like cardboard… NAILED IT! That being said, the hotel is beautiful and the room is great. The pool is lovely and I highly recommend this hotel… just don't eat here. 5 min later the bill arrived btw.

Went for drinks with a coworker. The building lobby is gorgeous after the renovations, very modern and sleek. Went to the lobby bar, which had lots of room and seating. We were served immediately and the staff were very courteous. Will definitely be returning again.

The food was delicious (I ordered the club) but the service was very slow.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of accomodation. However when I booked through booking. Com, the room was listed as a Double Queen Room, but when I arrived it was one king bed.

The staff and service was exceptional! Cozy stay and very nice rooms. You had everything you needed and then some!

This is the most thoughtful and incredible hotel I've stayed at. Ultra modern, with a warm staff make this a very special place to stay. The market kitchen is also a wonderful touch.

The new design is great but would like to see a warning that the pool was not open until next month.

Attended the Ramada for a wedding. Was catered and staffed professionally and efficiently. Wedding had no problems and the reception was well done by the hotel.

Went to a training session. The room was very nice, well laid out. The meal was very good.

Arrived late in my room one night and found a dirty facecloth ob the bathroon counter. Didnt sleeo well at all and repoeted it in the morning. They offered me a 20 discount on my room and I basically told them they can keep the 20. I was expecting a free room or a coupon for another night but that didn't happen.

The king suite was nice enough, check in was a little slow, however, this was close to standard check in times, so not completely unexpected. The pool is a bit small and get get crowded with kids pretty quick, no doubt because of the waterslide, which is a plus if you have kids. Comfy beds, lousy TV channel choices, and Wi-Fi that wont let a Chromecast connect. The breakfast buffet oncluded is a bit betterthan the standard low rent places, sausage, bacon, french toast, cereals, muffins and lots of fresh fruit, good stuff.

I reserved a room with two queen size beds for my husband and I plus our three children (actually had to express occupancy over the phone) I was told an early checkin was possible and my husband and I were surprising our children with the stay at the hotel so I called at 12:30 to see if we could check in early. I was greeted by a gentleman on the phone who asked me how many were occupying the room and when I said 2 adults and 3 children he proceeded to inform me that due to fire regulations we needed a "special" room and it would be $50 more. I told him no there wouldn't be because I booked and gave the proper information which then I was quoted the room rate (I was not looking for a certain rate however I don't think it is fair to be informed of this last minute) my quote was honoured and we were given our room which I was told was an oversized room, it was still the same room with two queen beds! Our stay turned out the worse experience ever, there were two children's hockey teams staying with absolutely no supervision from the adults, who thought the entire second floor hallway was their party domain. All night the hallways were a race track it was so loud you could barely sleep and the kids decided having a night long game of "knock knock ginger" would be fun. When we tried to use the pool the rules were not enforced and because of the lack of respect and supervision I made my children leave for their safety!
