My daughter and I have attended swim birthday parties here and I have attended a large number of events and meetings at The Clarion. I always find the staff to be helpful and courteous. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Events are always great and the food is wonderful. I highly recommend the Clarion for your next stay, event or meeting!

We hold our large group meetings at the Clarion. Very professional and accommodating.

I’ve been at the Clarion for several business meetings, events, lunches and dinners. Without exception, it is always very good organised, clean, and with good food. It is without hesitation that I would recommend the Clarion for all your private and or business functions.

I have attended quite a few business meetings at the Clarion. The food and service have been excellent and Amber has been very helpful.

I tried to get a extra bracelet for me and my grandson and they said the room was only allowed 7 so I just went without because I had to watch my kids n grandkids in the pool area. The staff at the pool told me I needed a bracelet to be in the pool area and I told her I tryed to get one but they didn't give me one. She then said well I needed one I told her to go get it then! she stormed out of the pool area and got the manager. She started yelling at me saying I had to get out of the hot tub because I didn't have a bracelet on and I told her im not getting out I have other children in the pool she then said she would shut down the pool and evicted our room! I then said all over a bracelet? its a bracelet! she then asked how many we had I said idk and she then said well if its just one I can give it to you! how embarrassing this was! she left and came back and gave me the bracelet. Very rude like what is the big deal about a paper bracelet. This will be the last time I stay at this hotel. Also the poolside room was very hot!
we were celebrating my granddaughter bday and had more then 7 in our party! so after this I looked around the pool area and seen a lot of other adults not wearing bracelets, there was another birthday in pool area and they had way more then 7 children.

The Clarion is the perfect place to host business meetings or social events. I go there often and have been impressed with the great food and friendly staff. Amber is very helpful and can take the stress out of organizing whatever event you are planning.

The clarion has very nice rooms and very friendly staff. They answered every question I had with a smile! I would highly recommend the Clarion for any overnight stay or party/gathering!

I'm part of a business group that meets at the Clarion once per week. They have provided us with a delicious venue and a great atmosphere!

The Clarion is a great spot to host meetings in Brandon. Its staff, and in particular Amber, are always accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to ensure your meeting or stay goes off without a hitch.

Our family had been going to this hotel for decades. I had my sons birthday party there this weekend & over 10 of the people that attended (most stayed at the hotel) ended up getting extremely sick (coughing, sneezing, burning eyes, throwing up) — we finally figured out that the ventilation system in the pool area is broken which meant we had all been breathing in the chemicals and the air had not been circulating. No ventilation, no warnings from staff that the system was not working & you could see a haze over the pool. When we told the front desk attendant and the front desk manager they didn’t seem concerned or care. This is a health concern and should’ve been a priority.

The staff were friendly for the most part. The Echo Restaurant was good and reasonably priced. If you are handicapped I would advise not to book an accessible room as they are on the 3rd floor and only one elevator, so should it break down we were trying to figure out how I would get out, as I cannot climb stairs. Also the bathtub was very slippery and did not have a mat to put down, I fell and hurt myself badly and when I told them about it as we were checking out all the woman said behind the desk is thanks for letting us know. I have a major bump on my head and hit my neck and bruises all down the left side of my body. My husband and I fought to get me out for 20 minutes I was in major pain and had fallen so hard not very accessible to a disabled person, with balance issues. Good thing I am not old or it probably would have killed me I fell that hard, and the grab bar was of no use to help me up as I could not reach it from down in the tub.

I stay here often for work (I stay over a 150 nights a year at different hotels and this is my favorite) and will not change Hotels. Very friendly front end staff. One of the best lounges in the city with good food and service. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Enjoy the heated floors in the washroom… a nice touch. Definitely the best place to stay in Brandon.

Don’t ever stay here. Not only do they jerk you around and give you horrible service but when it comes to agreements they always somehow blindly look away and will rip you off. I’ve never had a place do whatever it takes to make your stay as shitty as possible and have complete dunces run the front desk. If you wanna get robbed out of more money than you should and also feel like talking to a fucking rock would have better brains then go ahead.

Guest services was very accommodating when we needed a crib, though they forgot crib linens the first time. The pool and waterside area is great and there is an area to eat by the pool deck if there isn't enough room in your room. Having a poolside room will, unsurprisingly, result in a fairly strong chlorine smell in the room itself, presumably from the carpet if not the pool itself. There was nowhere I saw to shower off at the pool, leaving you to drip pool water through the hotel room to get to your own shower.

Great hotel with huge waterslide and great food at the restaurant. One lady wasn't the nicest, but everyone else was so friendly! Pet friendly although the one from desk lady didn't seem to approve and treated us as such. The water slide was worth every penny!

Our stay at the Clarion Hotel in Brandon was phenomenal. The room was clean, and well appointed for the price. What made our stay really special was the staff. We had a few last minute changes in our plans for the weekend the staff made every attempt to accommodate us. They really made what could have been a very trying time very comfortable. Teresa at the front desk was a life saver and a delight to deal with. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

It's a very nice hotel. Great location close to alot of amenities. Staff were friendly and courteous. We were a bit disappointed that the pool and hot tub were closed and that our booking site did not advise us bit that was no fault of the hotel's.

Friendly staff. Clean room and very comfortable bed and pillows! The ribs in the restaurant are really superb.

My room is wonderful. It is on the 5th floor executive suite. My room is clean. The pool area is nice. The restaurant Echo was fantastic last night. All 4 of us ordered the same meal. It was the Sirloin special for $25 that came with soup or salad. The Caesar salad was really great. Also came with a choice of 2 potato’s, veggies and orange creamsicle cheesecake. All for $25. The steaks were very tender and delicious.
A highlight was Trudy (I hope I got her name right). She was the one that checked me in and she is fantastic; sweet, funny, helpful, quick & polite. 3 negative things is my toilet barely flushes toilet paper at times but eventually everything goes so not a issue really and staff may not even be aware. A much bigger issue is when I got back to my room yesterday late afternoon after being at convention my door was opened. It is not heavy enough to close fully on its own so it needs to be pulled shut. The cleaning staff must have left it open after they left. I found that scary but it looks like nothing was missing from my room. Whew! Third complaint is the key cards are not as cooperative as I’d like. Others seem to have the same issues but not that big of a deal because after several attempts it does work.
So overall, we have decided we will absolutely come back here next time. And one of the members in our work group is staying at another hotel but spends her free time here with us because she likes the Clarion much better.

What a great hotel, I don't know if they just renovated or what but it looks and feels brand new in the lobby, restaurant, and room. The hallways, pool, and exterior look very dated but super clean. The prices are beyond reasonable, staff is very friendly and attentive. Right off the highway and close to grocery, gas, convenience, and liquor; all the vacation needs! The room has everything, including fridge, microwave, coffee maker and more. TV channels are decent, A/C works so well. The shower is very roomy and water temperature was spot on. I'd make this my first choice next visit right away.

The first night was a full house and the pool was packed but was quiet at night. The second night our neighbors partied until nearly 4am. Kitchenette Room was great though.

Very well kept hotel. Nice place to HAVE a family dinner or have a kids birthday party We rented a social room for our party and this worked very nice Had cake in the room and the kids had a swim The pool and the hot tub were both very clean The liner is lifting but I'm sure they are replacing it soon did not effect our swim Reason for a four instead of a five is that the water slide was not in operating state for the date we were told that it was working the day prior however the kids were a bit upset that it was not working for the party Nice area for parents to watch the kids swim and stay dry. Lots of poolside rooms as well and good food from the restaurant on short notice as well.

The rooms here are very clean, well maintained, logically laid out and the beds are sooo comfortable. We booked here specifically for the pool for the kids after spending 3 days driving. Unfortunatly, there was some sort of birthday party or something going on in there and it was incredibly PACKED! No big deal, except that the families who were there were occupying every inch of available lounging space and had destroyed the place! They had brought TONS of outside food they had splayed out all over the table tops (chips, pizza, pop, candy). There was garbage and half eaten food, (even beer cans) strewn about everywhere, even in the water of the pool! There was even pizza crust and garbage in the halls! It was utterly filthy, loud, crowded and overall a horrible experience. I cant believe the guests could be that disrespectful of the hotel and the other guests staying there. Too bad because otherwise the place was great. We did mention it to the front desk staff and they did say they would take care of it. I would suggest giving birthday parties a marked off space in order to give other guests space to enjoy the pool as well.

Stayed at the Clarion for 2 nights with my family. The kids had a fabulous time in the pool and on the WaterSlide. Pool area was very clean and you always saw someone testing the pool levels. We stayed in a suit and the room was very clean. We went down for dinner Saturday night in the restaurant the service was good and the steak was amazing. We have stayed at a few hotels in Brandon but this will be our go to from now on.

Well Clarion Brandon… You are usually my go to hotel in Brandon (Royal Oak was too! ) but I fear that may be changing.
Firstly — When we got to our room, I checked the bed (like I do in every hotel we ever go to) and it was covered in dog hair. Not just on the top cover but even more between the covers and sheets!
I called front desk and the gentleman came to our room right away. However… When I hung the phone up, I realized the couch was also coated with dog hair.
The front desk worker was absolutely great and was more than accommodating and grabbed us new sheets and vacuumed our couch.
After he left and placing our child on the floor to play, we realized floor was covered in dog hair as well (his clothes were covered in it) and had to place blankets on the floor for him to play.
Secondly — The pool was embarrassing! The pool lining was literally falling off the wall and bunched throughout pool and with every movement of water, looked like it was going to completely fall off. (We have stayed at Royal Oak hundreds of times and never seen that! ) Now all that being said, we still greatly like your hotel but were not impressed or happy this time around!

The hotel is very nice and clean. The beds are comfy and the staff is nice. The only issue is the pool, they need to fix the pool liner. I would recommend tho.

Stayed February 1st — 3rd -Stayed for the free breakfast. But it only starts at 7am so we couldn’t use it the first morning. -Stayed for the pool and water slide. Waterslide was shut down, pool attendants could not be found, front desk said pump needed to be replaced but they couldn’t afford it. -TV did not work in our 2nd Room — Poolside patio door did not lock. After 4 calls someone finally came to fix it.

Honestly, I didn't get to my room until 4:30am (ish) and was gone at 8am; so my review may include some unknowns. The pool looked fantastic though, wish I could have gone for a dip and a slide. Great location, any interaction that I had with the staff was quite pleasant. Will be back. Thanks.

My room at the Clarion was clean and updated. The bathroom was beautiful and spacious. I loved being just off the pool area, perfect for kids. Will definitely stay again.

There was a big group of teenagers at the pool. Not a care in the world for little kids. We had to take my kids out and our granddaughter as attendants an staff didn't seem to care. Room was so hot you couldn't breath by the 2nd night it was better.

Stayed here a couple of times. Renovation to the entrance is now complete. Pool, slide and hot-tub is OK and great for kids. Sign-in a bit old school with the whole 'Sign here, here, here & here routine'. Staff pretty friendly including housekeeping. Will stay again when back in Brandon.

Nothing works. We had 3 rooms. First day the in-laws TV wasn't working in their room. After some messing around they got it going by swapping out the box. Second day our TV stopped working. Swapped our box with a non HD one. Third day the other rooms stopped working and again swapped with a non HD one. The waterslide was down all 3 days and on the third day the pool itself was closed down.

Room was good for the kids but it was very cold even when set at the highest setting. Also the pool has potential but the water was very cold and the slide is just a trickle of water. At one point the kids were walking down the water slide lol.

The pool siding was coming off. Look terrible on Christmas eve. The Water slide was closed for that reason. Not enough tables to put outside the rooms. Had to go buy our own. They gave us one for three families. Expected more from the Clarion. But on the upside they did and the end give the rooms for a discount. So they are still good in my books. Checkk before you go if the siding of the pool is fixed if you intend on using the water slide. It was all taped off with caution tape.

Am constantly there for meetings and functions. Everytime is always a pleasure coffee is good space is always enough. Staff treat you very well. The hotel would be my first choice if I was a out of towner. See ya next time clarion.

Very nice suites with comfortable beds and pull out couches with beds. Clean and comfortable, newly renovated. Disappointed that you no longer receive a voucher for free breakfast when staying in a suite, however.

Went for lunch on a Sunday. Restaurant was quiet and very clean. Meals were appropriately priced for the city, and even a little cheap considering a hotel restaurant. Food was good, party of 12 left full with no complaints.

Room was nice and updated, banquet food and appetizers were good. Drink prices are pretty high at 6.50 each.

So far, a great stay! Large spacious room with kitchenette. Original room that we booked was adjacent to the pool and was not suitable for us trying to relax away from noise. The front desk clerk, Jesse,? was able to arrange for this upgraded room even though the hotel was full with evacuees from forest fires in Northern Manitoba.

I believe we got a newly renovated room. The Junior suite was very spacious. A 2 bedroom suite. Only sleeping 4 but plenty of room for a cot or two. I called down a few times needing something and they were very efficient at getting it to our room. Pool area is nice and cool, you can bring liquor in but it has to be in an unmarked cup. They gave us a few breakfast vouchers however, we have not eaten yet as I am writing this review before the night is over :) I would stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to others.

The pool in the middle is a great feature but definitely makes getting to your room take a while. LOVED the style of the room and having a large glass-walled shower is excellent! Felt very modern!

The Wi-Fi was an okay speed. I do think the place is overpriced for what it is. It cost around 175 a night and did not come with a continental breakfast. For the price I feel like it is not worth it. The rooms were clean and nice though. And the hotel comes with the slide which is neat and fun. Also it was so loud at 2 in the morning. People were walking down the halls drunk at 2am the were loud.

The room was great, very comfortable beds. The pool area was great and lots of fun, the water was a great temperature for my young son but the liner of the pool needs to be replaced, it was bubbling up under our feet. We would definitely stay here again, front desk staff was very friendly at check in and check out.

This is the place I always stay at while in Brandon MB. It is clean and the staff is friendly. The on-site restaurant is decent but they don't open for breakfast until 7 am. I will stay again.

It was very good. The room was nice and bathroom was clean and everything was comfortable. Only down side was people being noisy outside early in the morning but we asked then to leave and they did. Other than that he hotel was very good.

Enjoyed my meal. Management was good and comped our drinks after slow servicd.

My daughter and I were attending a birthday party in the pool area. I was surprised to find the water warm. It made the experience enjoyable. The lining of the pool is not flat, more like loose and uncomfortable to walk on. The washroom was very out dated and in poor repair. The rooms were nice but small.

Really friendly staff and decent restaurant. The pool facing rooms are a bit loud at night due to the high pool usage.

Service was good, rooms looked very nice, modern and very clean. Beds were not comfortable.

Pool was great, beds were clean and comfortable, breakfast was a buffet and was free, only thing was our room was 100 above and no ac.

Was there for Brandon winter festival, but the facilities were great.

The rooms were nice. It is a bit of an older hotel however it is one of the nicer ones in the Brandon area. The restaurant there at the hotel is decent and serves a delicious breakfast. The pool is nice and it has a slide for the kids.

Will never stay here again. Room airconditioning wasn't blowing any cold air… room temp at night was 27 degrees. We were in town for a baseball tournament, and after being outside all day a cold Room would've been great. Complained the first night about it and they brought a fan down to the room and suggested we take a cold shower. If that wasn't bad enough, the TV randomly came on with static to wake everyone up about 6 times. Can't wait to get home.
