We really enjoyed our stay here and our pup did too. All the staff treated her well and greeted her. The hotel is along a trail network and also close to an off-leash dog park so walks are not a problem. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the restaurants within the hotel had great food. We basically just stayed in and enjoyed the quiet. We hired a dog sitter from Whistler Dog Sitting to look after her in the hotel room as well so we could have dinner out. Perfect place for your fur family, especially if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the village.

Great location on the lake and no charge bikes to ride to the Whistler mall.

It was a really nice resort the bathtubs are awesome. It was very cozy although the breakfast menu is a bit pricey. I would make sure you don't have a connecting room because I could hear the people next door clearly even with my TV turned up. There was a couple of little things that could have been better but I really enjoyed myself. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful.

Horrible service all around for such a nice property! Restaurant staff rude, lazy and slow (except for the bartender) and housekeeping, front desk staff much the same. Bring lots of money for the price per room and lots of patience for the terrible service.

Beautiful lake out the back door, safe walking and biking trail (5km) to Whistler. Staff very accommodating with luxury l'occitane bathing products. Definately a 5 star lodge.

Great resort for family! Many activities to do like free canoe, kayak, paddle boat, bike, DVD rentals. Our room was clean and very spacious. We loved the pool as it was warm and not deep for my girls. Food was amazing at Cure Lounge. We had it by the pool or in room dining. Every staff was very helpful and always had a smile. Short drive to the village was nice. Definitely we will be back. Thank you Nita Lake Lodge for the amazing experience.

One of the best mini getaways with my fiance. The staff is super friendly and they all make sure all your needs are met. The service at Cure Lounge & Patio is also amazing. Rooms are very spacious. Getting a room with a lakeview is so worth it! They have bikes, paddle boards, canoes and kayaks for rent (free of charge, just book in advance. ) Definitely will be returning in the future when a staycation is needed.

Great spot away from the hustle and bustle of Whistler Village but just a free shuttle away. Set on Nita Lake with skating in the Winter, canoeing and paddle boarding in the Summer. Nice and cost fine dining and lounge. A step above!

Very quiet and tranquil setting with beautiful views of the lake and the mountains. Incredible rooms with great amenities and large bath and shower.

I cant’t thank enough the staff for being so professional and helpful. As a florist I had a lot of responsibilities and Nita staff definitely made everything easier. I recommend this beautiful hotel with amazing spacious rooms to everyone.

Stunning beautiful scenery and hotel. Well equipped gym, lovely big bathrooms. Great service at the restaurants, cool little touches like blankets available if you get cold while having lunch next to the lake. Fireplaces in the rooms so romantic.

Recently attended a wedding at this lodge. I was a bridesmaid in the wedding and got to first hand experience how horrible the service was here. Terrible hosts, rude staff and overall extremely uncomfortable experience, we are not demanding people, nor hard to please but were astonished with how poorly we were treated. I would never stay again at this venue and do not recommend anyone does.

Very nice, relaxing and super service. The massages are unbelievable performed by registered massage therapists. The FIX restaurant is very nice it have a large selection of pastries and breads. They make good lattes plus many other choices of drinks, they sell alcohol here. Table service is often available only if they are not too busy. The outside Patio next to the lake is very nice on a warm sunny day. Good service along with nice smiles. I have not yet tried the formal restaurant but have been assured it's great the bar is nice and comfortable with a big screen TV… Try to avoid the guy with the big beard in Fix cafe he's not very polite. Today he was totally different. Maybe I voiced my opinion too soon. However, I think everyone would like Linda at the front desk.

My family and I come here every week to eat and enjoy the bar, we own a cabin up the hill and appreciate the convenient location on our favorite lake. After coming many years since opening I have never been disrespected like I have by the ozzie girl behind the front desk. Her customer service is impractical and she treats people who dont stay at the hotel as if we are some sort of lower class. What a choice management made there. Anyways, because of such poor customer service I will not be coming back with my family or friends, and would highly recommend any other hotel than this one. Nice work Nita!

We stayed again at the hotel, based on our last visit, and while everything was as lovely as the last time, I am taking a star away because of the bar staff. The 'dude' behind the bar with the man-bun showed no level of courtesy at all and would be better suited to a night club on Granville Street. We had to call him over from his empty bar where he was doing nothing, having sat at one of the tall tables for a while. He greeted us with a chin, as one does to another dude, when he did deem to saunter over, also, apparently asking what we wanted to drink in the same manner — but walked off only having taken two of our orders (there were five of us). I called him back, joking, by saying: 'I must be the invisible man. ' Again to cool for school, there was no response, no smile, no greeting, simply a chin raised to say: 'what do you want? ' It really seemed he thought it was below him to serve us. The young baby-face waiter also completely ignored two waves directly at him when he was having a conversation with someone sitting at the bar that was, apparently, a friend or employee. We had waited to order a second drink for ages until we decided to summon him. I get it, you're otherwise engaged, but at least acknowledge you will only be a minute and that you had seen us. The place was not busy at all; it's hardly like they were doing anything else.

Lovely place, 2 venues, 2 epic menus that meet in the middle with glorious dessert fixings and cocktails. Off to the side but as busy as anyone else. Prettiest wedding venue by far and the staff? They are absolutely lovely and knowledgeable. Get in the lounge and try it out.

One of our favourite places to visit! Its clean, cozy, comfortable and more. It's like home away from home. The complimentary amenities are awesome (kayaks, canoes, bikes, shuttle service). There's lots more here too like spas and hot tubs, great restaurants and lounges. They treat you so amazingly here and love to see people return for stays in the future.

Rooms are beautiful! Wished the was vending machines tho. Housekeepers do a fantastic job everyday! Use the French press coffee… delicious! The shower feels like sparkling water raining on you!

Cozy boutique hotel located on a quiet lake a few minutes drive from the main village in Whistler. Beautiful outdoor terraces overlooking the lake. Access to running, hiking and biking trails right at the hotel. Comfortable and large lounge serving small bites and drinks. Their main restaurant, Aura has an excellent brunch. Also a casual cafe serving coffee, smoothies and snacks is on site. Rooms are large and comfortable including the bathrooms which have a soaker tub and separate shower.

Beautiful property! I’ve stayed here a couple of times and it’s always a relaxing and serene experience. The rooms are always clean and crisp. The interior is a perfect combo of modern and homey. Definitely my favourite place to stay in Whistler! I also make quick pit stops here even when I’m just visiting Whistler for the day. I bring my guests to take a nice view of the lake, take some photos and come back inside for coffee — guests who also end up staying at the lodge with their family and friends because of it! I would recommend this place for maybe a two or three nights stay because the rooms are more like hotel rooms styled as a spacious studios as none of the rooms (except for their Rainforest Suite) have a full kitchen unless of course you prefer to eat out all the time. Also, I think you can request for a mini fridge and a microwave if it’s a necessity like maybe for baby or medicinal purposes.

Lots of wonderful things to say about Nita Lake Lodge. The room is large and appointed appropriately to the environment. Wood, stone, leather, and lofty window space made my room a delight. I have a separate eating area for two, a large soaker tub, shower for two with a resting bench, lightly stocked kitchen and a balcony with furniture overlooking Nita Lake Lodge. The staff are friendly and helpful. The lounge is large and comfortable and well stocked. The salad I ordered — their large house salad was delicious with feta and avocado, chick peas and lovely kale and other greens. The dining room menu looked tasty but a bit pricey — I was happy with the lounge. The hotel offers a bistro cafe as well for breakfast and lunch menu items. There is a gorgeous small lake behind the hotel (Nita Lake) and a great walking or cycling trail that runs through to the town centre of Whister a few kilometers away. Or, you can walk around the lake itself in about 30 minutes. The hotel does have a spa, which I did not visit. ONE DOWNSIDE The reason it did not get 5 stars — they do not provide room service and I had to carry the tray to the room — which, was a long way with lots of doors to open.

Had an amazing and relaxing weekend at the lodge! I won a 2 night stay for 2 in a studio suite, welcome cocktail at the lounge, 1 hour Swedish massage at the spa, and 3 course dinner at the restaurant. My mom and I loved every bit of it! Our suite was on the 3rd floor and even though we didn’t have a lake view, our room was beautiful and spacious. We had a king size bed, gas fireplace, kitchenette, huge bathroom with double soaker, and large shower. The easy to step into shower with handrails and handrails beside the toilet were much appreciated, as my mom is physically disabled. Our spa visit was so relaxing! We spent about 4 hours there, enjoying the outdoor hot tubs, eucalyptus steam room, lounge and massage. The food at the restaurant was delicious and filling. Everything we ordered was mouthwatering. Our waitress, Sophie I believe, was very friendly and accommodating. There’s an outdoor pool and hot tub with a view of the lake and mountains, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Even though the lake was still frozen and it was raining most of the weekend, we were able to get outside to take advantage of the walking trail surrounding the lake. Thank you very much Nita Lake Lodge for a wonderful stay! I’ll definitely be back.

Celebrated our Daughter's wedding here and the Lodge was fantastic. Rooms were beautiful, dog friendly and very tasteful. Only complaint would be the temperature — we had to sleep with the sliding door open in late November to keep it cool enough to be comfortable at night. Would go again to stay for sure!

Mattresses are quite old and soggy; Sheers on windows are misshapen and won't close; Strings for window blinds are broken; Soup in lounge was luke warm and still luke warm after I asked server to have it reheated; stayed here in 1 bedroom suite many times in past, but mgmt just not maintaining hotel!

Clean room with a lovely view. The food is very yummy and staff are friendly. Love that they have free bikes to use and access to the small little lake. It is also very close to the main village but without the busyness.

My husband and I stayed at Nita lake lodge for our honeymoon. From the moment we entered we felt very well looked after. The room was spacious and had great facilities. To wake up every morning with the view of the stunning snowy lake was lovely. The Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The regular shuttle bus to whistler village was extremely useful and all the drivers were particularly knowledgable and gave us some great tips on where to eat and what to do. We will definitely pop back from across the pond for another visit. Thank you.

Our "go to" place at Creekside. The vegetarians in our group were very pleased with their rabbit food. The omnivores were equally pleased with the fine fish and beef. Nice, personal service.

Beautiful lodge right in Whistler. Fireplaces in each rooms, fun pool. You can walk to places to eat or eat at the lodge. There are a variety of food options. The check in person could be much friendlier and kinder. She was really grumpy and it felt like she was doing us a favor by answering our questions about local places to eat. Other than that, we had a wonderful time at the lodge. A place we would love to come back to.

I love Nita Lake Lodge. In my opinion the best hotel in whistler. Its very peaceful right on the lake. The rooms are spacious, cozy and romantic with a beautiful fire place in each one. There is an undeground parking lot and they also have a free shuttle that will take you into the village. I believe in the summer they include free bike and kayak rentals with your stay. A great place for a peaceful getaway.

I booked a massage at the spa. The massage therapist was very thorough in gathering information and I got a wonderful massage. The spa is very nice with a rooftop hot tub and views of the mountains. The reception staff were very nice and welcoming.

Full disclosure: I dined at Nita on the second day of their new menu and I'm sure they're working out the kinks. First, I'm a huge fan of Nita Lake and regularly stay during my time in Whistler, however, the lodge has now lodt that cottage vibe it once had. Second, when I arrived at Aura for dinner, I was told they were fully booked until 830 (it was 6), so we sat the bar. The night winded on, but the restaurant never filled. Third, the food was a disappointment. I ordered the short rib, which was 60% fat. Not even trimmed. The Lamb was overpowered by the horseradish sauce they put on top and was also excessively fatty. Overall, I'd recommend you wait until they sort out some of the issues to avoid disappointment.

A wonderful place for a very romantic and lovely time away. Loved every second, the room was beautiful, facilities and staff were amazing and the shuttle to the village was a nice touch. Counting the days until my next visit here.

Very spacious room with fire place and balcony. It is located in the Creekside area about 5 min drive away from the town. Beautiful lodge in front of the lake for those who prefer to stay in a more quiet area away from the crowd in the village. They provide complimentary shuttle service to the village as well so it's also quite convenient for people without cars.

Great room with fireplace and all the trimmings, super large bathroom. Very good value hotel with great location on the lake.

I enjoyed my stay at Nita Lake Lodge. The bedding was nice and my room large and well appointed. I did find the refrigerator wasnt functioning but everything else was great. The in room coffee was tasty, and the large French press meant we could make two cups at once.

Love the Fix Cafe — you can always get a table, the staff are lovely and they have a wonderful in-house bakery (yummy fresh treats! ) Also love the lounge for a night of quiet conversation and cocktails with friends. It offers free parking so is one of the easiest places in town to connect.

Good food, great drinks and excellent staff. We really enjoyed their chicken poutine and the service from our barman Alex was second to none. He gave great recommendations and phenomenal tasting drinks. Best bartender in Whistler.

Great experience. Staff is wonderful. Rooms are clean and updated. Access to Nita Lake right there is nice with canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards at the ready. Yoga at the spa for $10/hr (on Thursday) was a special treat. Very knowledgeable and plugged in gal.

Perfect getaway for adults. Rest, relaxation, and recreation. Close proximity to some of Whistler's best eateries and the Village with shuttle service. Complimentary use of bikes and water equipment a big bonus. Staff were all super friendly.

The Lodge is beautiful and perfectly placed for all your activities and you still have all the privacy you need. It is such a Serene place to be. The food and staff is wonderful. Thanks to Samantha we are Beyond pleased.

My (now) husband proposed to me at Nita lake. After my engagement ring was stolen (thank goodness for insurance) he "re-proposed" to me (I hadn't known that the new ring had arrived). After my dad passed, we returned and he got me a spa treatment to help me feel better. We have returned once after that (for the 4th time) and enjoyed the kayaking and canoeing as well as bike riding. Overall, this is a fantastic place and I would encourage anyone to stay here. It is only a few minutes from Whistler Village but you can return to your room with peace and quiet.

We came as a family of 4 for the May long weekend and stayed for 3 nights. We booked a 1 bedroom Nita suite with a lake view. Once again the room and view did not disappoint. Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. We enjoyed breakfast each morning at Aura. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and high quality. I finally gave into my burger craving at Cure Lounge and had one of the best beef burgers ever. The pool was open although it needed to be cleaned. The water was cloudy and full of bugs & stuff on the bottom of the pool. That didn't stop our kids from enjoying it though! Thank you again to Samantha Royle for all your help with our booking, to Lynda for getting us a dinner reso in the Village on a busy Saturday night and to Glen, aka "the Canadian Cowboy" for all the shuttle rides to & from the village! We can't wait to come back this summer!

Beautiful lodge, great food. Attended a wedding which was hosted by nita lodge staff, A/C was having issues and people were overheating. Bartender was awful, giving everyone attitude and miserable, not a pleasant bartending experience at all. He should have been sent home.

So clean and cozy. And all people are nice. And food is good. Best resort ever.

Great location, beautiful building, but something is always a little bit off. It's always one step away from being great. The staff in the coffee shop are always a pleasure though.

The room was wonderful.! The staff at the lodge are amazing. Extremely helpful and very friendly. Who knew the shuttle was going to be a highlight of our trip. The opportunity to discuss ski runs, restaurants, experiences and adventures with the other guests was wonderful and extremely entertaining as well as informative. The drivers were so helpful and kind as well. Can't wait to go again.

Had a large group on for apres ski. Burger was the best in Whistler and the service was top notch. Great spot for a group gathering.

I spent the mid-afternoon at The Spa at Nita Lake. The RMT was excellent. Hot tub wasn't hot enough. Steam room excellent. I was tjer ocer lunch period and I was not able to eat anything due to the"no food policy". It would be nice to have an area to eat lunch or snacks.

Spectacular views, great amenities, excellent service! These rooms are nicer than my house! Travelled here in the summer and thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the dining experience at the hotels restaurant was superb!

Stayed here in 2014/2015 season. Great place to stay, the bus service to and from the village really is great. Friendly drivers with lots of local knowledge. Lovely room with fireplace and a refreshing bathroom ideal for a soak after a long day riding.

Beautiful lodge just 8 minutes outside the village. This lodge offers amenities such as complimentary bike rentals, kayaks, and shuttles to the main village. It's quaint and you're more at peace being away from the crowd.

This place is amazing, I wish I could live here. The customer service, food, and location is just fantastic. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and very helpful. They went above and beyond. Our room was lovely and very clean. We had a cute balcony with a great view of the lake. If you have a chance I highly recommend the spa. I really hope to come back sometime soon, it was hard to leave!

We booked for one night in late September, and ended up staying 3 (would have been longer if we could have! ). It's a brilliant hotel, rooms were great, staff excellent and super helpful. There's a shuttle-bus which they run to and from Whistler which you can request up until late evening — or just use their free mountain bikes to cycle into town — so good! Also, the breakfasts were great — they would definitely fuel you up for a day of skiing! Thanks for looking after us so well!

I never write reviews but my stay at the Nita Lake Lodge was so outstanding that I just had to. First off I just want to say that Lynda at reception was exceptional! She was very welcoming and friendly. We booked a one bedroom suite but when we got up to our room, we found out that the balcony door was broken and we notified the front desk, to our surprise the Manager himself came up to get us and upgraded us to their one bedroom Nita Suite with a lake view for absolutely nothing! Superb customer service and overall great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to stay at Nita Lake Lodge the next time they make a trip to Whistler. It's about a 9 minute drive away from the Village but trust me it's totally worth it.

My Husband and I spent 3 nights at Nita Lake and wouldn't ever consider staying at another Whistler property. The service was incredible, particularly Victoria, who took care of our every need. The rooms are well designed for the discerning modern traveler with real milk and cream in the mini fridge. Breakfast was well worth the few extra $ over a local diner. We did our homework and picked what were regarded as the two best restaurants in the village. But to its credit we agreed the meals we had sitting at the bar at Nita were far superior. Nita Lake has done everything just right, its just what we look for and none of the trappings we don't need. Great Hotel.

Very enjoyable stay. The hotel is very elegant and the hotel rooms are very nicely decorated. Ask for a view over the lake, it will make your mornings. There is also a shuttle that runs till 11pm to and from the village. There is also a nice restaurant downstairs and a pub a view steps outside with a liquor store. Haven't tried the spa facilities but I'll give it a try next year.

We stayed at the Nita Lake Lodge for two nights last week. The facility is nice, although the reception area is very dark and hot. Like a big, hot cave. The food on-site and nearby was fabulous. The room itself was lovely, but we paid for a 1 bedroom suite, and the bedroom didn't have a door. We were traveling with 2 teens and were hoping to gain some privacy, and the lack of door caused us to have to use the restroom one at a time to change. This was minor. My main complaint was the front desk staff person Simon. He was rude. He seemed to lack the emotional intelligence requisite for someone in the hospitality industry. His sense of hospitality was deeply lacking.
