Had everything we needed. Spacious. The 2 washrooms made it easy for the 5 of us to share. The standing shower seemed to have been from a new renovation and I enjoyed the stone tiles. Staff was able to provide kitchen items that were not there such as scrub pads and can openers upon phoning them.

Great location, close to gondolas, upper village, most of the zipline and atv tours are there.

The codes for the lodge are ridiculous, different codes for the doors/lockers and rooms. The whole building smells a bit funny, it might be the stench of skiers coming in from a day of activity, but the elevator and the locker room smelled especially strange. The layout of our room was also incredibly strange. We had a loft which had a king size bed and a bunk bed (separated by a wall) but neither of them had walls… so if someone was downstairs you were basically sharing the same airspace as them and could hear everything from downstairs. Still, nothing can beat the sheer convenience of this place, I mean, it's literally right above Longhorns.

Provide lockers for everyone to use, even if not a guest. Affordable and right at the base of the gondolas.

We didn’t stay here, but used the rental and ski school services offered here. The gentleman was very helpful in fitting my wife with a great pair of boots and skis. My wife also purchased a ski school session here which was a really great experience. Everyone that worked here was very friendly and helpful. A busy atmosphere, but not overwhelming. There was also a gift/supply shop, and a cafe with hot food and drinks, which was nice for a quick pick-me-up. The facility was well laid out and wasn’t every overly crowded during our few visits.

I was just passing by and decided to take a look inside to see what they had for snow gear, the options they had were quite nice but I was quickly turned off from the sight of people and massive amounts of puddles heading downstairs to the common area. As a visitor not in snow or water resistant gear, the brown and dirty puddles along the walk way and stair way was really a turn off. In addition, I was wearing white shoes and pants… You can imagine how much of a fashion disaster that would be had some dirty puddle water splashed up on me. I reported this to the service desk and they said unfortunately couldnt do anything about it. Hmm well…

Good place for equipment rental. Wait time is a bit long.

We went to the canadian outdoor adventure booth in the carlton hotel. We took the utv buggy tour. It was awesome. Thank you Brock. Best tour guide!

Went green river rafting for the 2nd time through Wedge, and it is completely worth it.

The raft guide was very playful and it was a blast getting pushed in the water.

Booked a large multi-suite unit for a group event. The suite was spacious and luxurious. We were able to do some group activities in the suite as it was big enough. Walking to nearby amenities and entertainment was also quite convenient. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Used ziptrak ecotour. Was a fun experience with knowledgeable guides. A bit pricey and would have liked to see different areas of the mountains.

Lots of great adventure packages are available. Prices are a bit steep. Wait for a Groupon.

Lines, Lines, Lines, Cars, people, if you enjoy the crowded feeling of skiing with everyone from Washington and Vancouver this is the place. Whistler does not care about quality of product at all. It is all about getting as many idiots here to spend as much as they can get out of you suckers. I have lived and skied in many different resorts and ski towns. I find many people that come to Whistler are not that experienced nor are they that good of riders. The size shocks and amazes newbies. But for the Hard Corps. From Aspen, Jackson Hole, Deer Valley, Jasper, Fernie and Nelson. Whistler is a sad step down. The resort brings in neophytes from around the world many who have never seen snow and gives them jobs on the mountain? The less you know the better because your bosses don't want anybody smarter than them. The staff is so incompetent and unfamiliar with winter it is mind blowing and the place would be sued out of existence if in the US for incompetency. This is the resort where the gondola fell a few years back! I have seen guests die in creeks less than a kilometre from the base. I have seen Irish employees who drank with other employees on St. Patty's day walk home drunk alone and die on a rain soaked golf course in a mud puddle. Furthermore, I can also say if your coming here to learn how to ski DONT! You will probably be taught by someone who cant ski much better than yourself!

Whistler is a beautiful place. Once you get up on the mountains (Whistler or Blackcomb) you will see that it is also huge! With mile of runs of differing skill levels, there is something for everyone. My absolute favorite run was down Blackcomb glacier. You also have both mountains available to you from up top via the Peak to Peak gondola. Once the lifts close there are lots of places to go to have drinks and food and enjoy the Apres Ski. We stayed in the Tantalus Lodge which is only a 5-7 minute walk from the lifts. Looking forward to going back!

Recommended by a friend and knowing that this was the site of where many of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games events took place, I've been wanting to check out Whistler Blackcomb for a good while. The spring of 2015 was my first visit to the area and my very first ski resort visit anywhere. I also visited about a month ago in February 2016, when there was much more of a snowpack available. During my first visit, I went to mainly just sightseeing, did Peak-2-Peak Gondola between Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain, had a lunch there, and I visited many different shops there. I was so impressed with the resort that I decided to return a second time back in February. This time, I actually participated in some winter activities. I went tubing at Coca-Cola Tube Park, which is great for people of nearly all ages, and I tried ice skating for the first time. I fell once, but not on the ice, thankfully. It was a lot of fun, too. I've yet to try skiing, but that will have to happen on a future visit. Anyhoo, I highly recommend going to Whistler Blackcomb, even if you do not plan to actually do any skiing. There's tubing, snowshoeing (which I wanted to do, but I had run out of time on my visit), dogsled, snowmobiling, even bobsleigh and skeleton. The people at the visitor centre were very helpful and resourceful. If you're coming from Vancouver, you will also appreciate the ride along BC 99 — — Sea to Sky Highway. You will be treated to some amazing views along the way to Whistler.

Expencive, but so worth it. We had an amazing time riding in 32cm of fresh powder on Saturday. My one suggestion for you if you can. Go on a weekday. Fresh powder + weekend= gongshow. Twice we had a 40 min line up for a lift.

Great ski schools for kids and adults. Safe to drop your kids off. They develop friendships during the days at ski school. The mild temps make this place better than most. Skiing above freezing in the day is common. Friendly staff and lines that flow very well. So many runs that any ski level will be satisfied.

Love 7th Heaven… great blue runs for an intermediate snowboarder like me. Love how Whistler Village is built around the lifts. Makes it easy to find good food and shop after a day on the slopes. Parking is expensive and sometimes hard to find. If you're staying anywhere within walking diatance, don't drive.

Whistler & Blackcomb is my favourite place on planet earth! Truly an amazing life experience that you will remember and dream of! I am going with my brother in 2 weeks and I can't wait. I have been to whistler 5 times already and never get enough. I usually spend 8 days at Whistler and it is a perfect amount of time to get a taste of heaven. I have stayed in the HI-Whistler hostel once and other times I have spent the extra dollar and upgraded to the Whistler village. Commuting from the HI-Hostel takes about 10-20 minutes depending on the wait for the shuttle and it wastes precious time. Although price for a hotel in the village is double I think it is worth it if you plan to invest in Whistler. The slopes at Whistler and Blackcomb are incredible and enormous, there is so much to explore from groomed terrain to hidden forest trails that I love the most! In 2015 tehre wasn't much snow on the slopes but it is still loads of fun to hit up the terrain park and to explore the groomed trails. Biking trails at Whistler are awesome as well and you can do them in winter! Definitely a place to put on your bucket list.

The summer one-day pass costs 50 bucks but seasonal pass only costs 70. I got a seasonal pass and went there twice. The environment and gondola there are excellent and you'll feel your money is well spent.

Incredibly expensive, for every skier and plenty of slopes available and the Peak to Peak gondola is really something special that connects the two ski resorts in a special way.

Very nice area. Unfortunately, very expensive u d the list are mostly quite old. The slopes are not always marked but very nice and the snow was also super. Of the Peak to Peak gondola, one has a great view and you can ride Whistler and black comb in a day.

Best mountain ski in North America.

My parents stayed here in the village and they liked it. Right next to the restaurants and you can walk to everything. This was a good choice for a small family visit to Whistler.
