Would score 0 if possible. Absolutely terrible service. We’ve booked a wedding here and have had to babysit each member of staff we’ve had to deal with. Not one single member of staff can answer a question with full detail and/or correctly. Be prepared to do the work of them and yourself! If you’re booked already, make sure everything is in writing…

Worst stay I have ever had in a hotel. My spouse and 2 kids were kept up since 3am because of a huge party in the room above us. Went to the front desk to have them deal with it. Called the front desk. They would stop for 10 mins then start right up again. And not even a sorry from the front desk. Room smelt like something was rotting. Never again staying here. Worst family get away spot. If you value sleep and peace and quiet not the place.

The bathroom was very dirty, it was like it wasn't cleaned before we were given the room. Blood? splashed on the walls and the toilet was gross with hair all over the back. Main door was very difficult to close, my kids could not close it on their own. Finally the sheets had stains all over them. I think you could find a much cleaner place for that amount of money.

Penthouse suite The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the penthouse suites phone stopped working… they messed up my room service everytime we orderd. It is a 4$ delivery charge and 15% gratuity on the daily 17$ dollar special turned into 30$… not much of deal. Breakfast was late and it did not taste great but they agreed I did not have to pay as we did not eat it. They were accommodating but it felt like a hassle. It was more disappointing then any actual issues. The receptionist was very polite but I think next time I will try another hotel.

September long weekend means IPSC BC Provincials. This well attended match picked the Coast Hotel for our match hotel and that was an excellent choice. Comfortable and spacious rooms, amazing food at our awards banquet, and close to a few pubs and restaurants (since the one in it sucks). I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean, comfortable, good location. Free parking. Close to a lot of restaurants and amenities. Very friendly staff. They offer cookies and water in the lobby which was very nice.

Great location, hotel had a South America resort vibe to it. Conference center was great for the wedding reception we attended. Restaurant at the hotel Romeo was amazing, with food and drinks being reasonably priced. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Really nice hotel. Hotel staff were professional and check in and check out were very quick. Rooms are a good size, we received one looking at the pool room area, it was quite nice but keep in mind it will be noisy at night until the pool closes, which we didn't mind. Also there will be no natural light which makes sleeping in great but you won't know what the weather is like until you leave. The pool area was really nice, toddler pool, deep swim pool and a very nice hot tub. We had take out from the attached restaurant (they also have room service for a very reasonable 4 dollar fee and 15% gratuity), food was delicious. I would stay here again. Note it seems to be an older hotel that has been updated, but updates work.

I stayed here twice in the last few years while doing road trips to the Rockies. The location was convenient with decent amenities. But the best of all was the bed itself. It’s the most comfortable bed I ever slept on in a hotel/motel. Keep it up — I would be glad to stay here again in the future.

Check in was quick and room was ready early. Nice hotel with indoor swimming pool. Room was quiet and clean. Good location in town as well.

Great service from everyone in the hotel, and extremely friendly as well. The rooms are clean and efficient. The massive atrium is a wonderful place to relax and visit. The restaurant was very good, great food, but a bit on the pricey side.

Hotel was really great and the food from Romeos was fantastic, really happy we stsyed there. Recommend this hotel to every one.

We have been to Sunday brunch on many occasions, too many to count. Todays smorge however was cold, dry and overdone. Sad to say we won't go back.

Nice clean, good sized rooms, bed was only a queen but has the space to be a king sized bed. Washroom, however had a small sink which not a lot of room to put your toileries. The lobby was very nice!

A great venue for bands! I've seen multiple bands here and have been satisfied no matter where they play.

Absolutely fabulous hotel to stay at. 2nd time for here in Kamloops. Great hotel. Front desk was very friendly and helpful, complimentry upgraded our room as we are Coast members. Room clean, quiet and comfortable. Food was fatastic and so was the service in the restaurant. I would say our only disappointment was the pool area. As beautiful as it is with the solarium, tropical plants and water features. The deck area could have been mopped down more frequently; as for the hot tub. "Well that was the biggest disappointment as it was practically cold! " After traveling all day we were looking to soak in the hot swirling water. Maybe they have it cooler for the kids? As I said that was our main disappointment!

Hotel is very nice, friendly staff that has been incredibly accommodating towards hosting and assisting our conference. Nice common area which is a pretty cool.

Awesome suite room with Jacuzzi tub. Really good food in the restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff.

Nice layout with atrium. Really friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Easy access to the Trans Canada Hwy.

OVERPRICED! OVERPRICED! OVERPRICED! This place hounded my gmail for a review so here you go, OVERPRICED! OVERPRICED RESTAURANT that charges a MANDATORY 15% tip even if the food or service does not warrant it. HILARIOUSLY OVERPRICED BREAKFAST! $3 for a tablespoon of frozen fruit on waffles. overpriced pop machine $2.25 for a tiny bottle of pop. Room was nothing special and cold, took forever to warm up. Bathroom was super TINY and the bath tub was made for kids or small asians. The tile floor was sub zero! There is my review Coast, stop spamming my email now.

Staff is fantastic the center is so adaptable and useful for any events or workshops they even have a theatre where I witnessed cowboy poetry and stand up comedy. The pastry is so scrumptious and fine come to think of it it's probably the same person that makes the appies as well: My favorite gourmet.

Great hotel with lovely upstairs to sit and enjoy. Restaurant has a good quick lunch menu. Rooms and washrooms are clean and modern.

I have only attended events here never stayed over night. The event space is very nice and the interior is beautiful. Romeo’s restaurant is very good if not a bit over priced — to be expected.

The room was perfect for our event. The facility is totally suited for participant comfort and ease. The conference center was clean and well cared for. The wait staff were exceptional in the delivery of our meal.

After a long mess of traveling home we stayed the night at this hotel with our 3 children one being a new baby. We recieved amazing service from all the staff from quick check in with a room upgrade so we had quite for our children. To the maintenance man quickly offering us and dropping off a crib to our room. Then when I needed water and milk for the night it was given right away. Our room service food was great and quick, all the staff was friendly and rooms were clean with everything we needed for the night.

This was a great place to stay on our way back to Vancouver. The kids loved the pool and the pool/atrium area in the middle of the hotel was a nice touch. The room was also clean and modern and the beds were really comfortable.

The room was big and clean with a great view of the valley. The hot tub was nice to use after a long cold day of driving.

We went to the Coast Hotel for a Christmas party this past weekend. We were directed to a banquet room on the third floor which was very nice. It was set up nicely and the chandeliers were beautiful and had nice clean bathrooms. It was nice to have an outdoor balcony off of the room for anyone who smoked. However the food was HORRIBLE! We had the buffet. Which consisted of salads, roasted veg, rice, pasta, salmon, and a carving station of beef. The Caesar salad was limp and mushy. The dressing had no flavour, the pickled items where either hard (beets) or rubberie (the pickles where flimsy, and tasted horrible) and the pickled beans hadn’t had their stems taken off so they wher sharp. The ravioli was suppose to have butternut squash in it but there was nothing in the middles that resembled butternut squash. The mixed roasted veg were good as long as you didn’t eat the zucchini which was mushy. The roasted potatoes where mushy but had nice flavour. The roast and salmon where actually good. The desserts were just as bad. The lemon curd was really strong, most of the other desserts had parts that were good but as a total dessert where bad. The bartender was awesome. She was really nice. One of the servers (she had two buns on her head) was unpleasant.

We were there for a Christmas party. Massive attendance and parkimg was sufficient. The only downside is the lack of bathroom capacity. Men's washroom has one stall and 3 urinals. Our event had 400+ people…

We stayed there this last weekend and the breakfast offered wasn’t at the level of their rating. Very basic more a hostal option. Order room service didn’t arrive after an hour of waiting and complaining to be sent quick. Also my daughter forgot a toy in a specific place and they said “their cleaning ladies did t find nothing” uhmmmm won’t go there again!

Stayed at The Coast for the 1st time recently. Nice room overlooking the pool. I booked online ribbing it was actually in the downtown area but it wasn't and that was actually fine. Lots of places nearby. Friendly staff at the desk and in the restaurant Romeos. Had a great meal in the restaurant. My drink, the Unconstruced Caesar was awesome!

Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. The in-room refrigerator didn't work but it didn't really matter for us so I didn't take out a star. Check in process was a breeze and when I requested to change a room it happened right away. Would totally stay herr again if I ever happen to be in the area.

New hotel and it shows. The lobby was very nice and the rooms as well. Comfy beds and no issues with check in. Only complaint might be with Expedia. I got a 'superior room with poolside view'. This just means the room faces inside the hotel with a view of the pool that's in the middle of the hotel. Also I could faintly hear people in the pool even when they weren't being that loud.

We got a room with two queens for 123/night. The room was extremely clean and very nice looking rooms and decor. They even had big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion to use. As well as the usual travel size ones. The pool and hot tub were a great size. The atrium was beautiful to sit in and enjoy reading a book. There are lots of restaurants and other amenities easily accessible just within walking distance as well. We truly enjoyed out stay. The staff were also the most pleasant, well mannered and helpful people I have come across at any hotel I have stayed at recently.

The Coast is nice, with the decor being obviously dated; it looks like quite an older hotel. That being said the rooms were clean, comfortable and absolutely adequate. The pool area is fantastic, it's a huge indoor courtyard with gardens and a stream, it really has wow factor. By far the biggest negative was being unnecessarily woken up by front desk staff *and* housekeeping asking when I was checking out, despite having made plans for late checkout with previous night staff and ensuring they would pass on the message. Incredibly aggravating and left a big negative impression.

First impression was good. Hotel looked nice driving up, lobby was classy and well laid out. The receptionist who checked me in was nice. It all went downhill once we entered our "Premium" suite. As soon as we entered the suite we noticed a brown stain on the carpet near the space heater. I didn't think anything of it at first but upon further investigation it was clearly feces. I went down to the front desk to ask for it to be cleaned while we were at the pool, the response from the receptionist was "Ooookayyyy", as if I was asking for something incredibly unreasonable. I received no apology which is extremely disappointing considering the situation. We returned to the room to find the stain was gone which was great, but also disappointing that it could have been cleaned in the first place without me having to request it. If you can't take care of something as simple as the carpet being free from fecal matter, then what else have they missed that I'm not seeing. We were booked in for two nights but will be checking out after one, could not stand staying any longer than necessary. This one oversight ruined what otherwise would have been a great experience, pool area was okay but also kind of dirty, shower in the room was fantastic however I would never stay here again. I would give it zero stars if I could.

It's HOT in Kamloops so I'm very glad the a/c is on the bedroom. It's pretty quiet, which I appreciate. I don't even notice it kicking in at night. Location is convenient (right off the highway) and the food in the restaurant is delicious. Would definitely come back.

The food was great at the restaurant! Service was amazing and it was the best dinner I've had so far on my trip. The waitress was very helpful, there were plenty of choices to choose from and everything we had tasted great! We didn't stay at the hotel but the lobby looked beautiful and very enjoyable, not your average hotel will plants and water fountains all over, and an indoor pool for the guests. If I ever visit again, I would definitely stay here instead.

Service was great until the first server we had finished her shift and food was good. The food looked great but the flavours didn't stand out as anything spectacular. I'd go again just to give them another try :)

We only stayed here for one night but it was really a pleasant experience. Room was big and the bed was comfy. Had a microwave and fridge. Truly did its job as a pit stop on the way to Vancouver. Only complaints would be the AC didn't work great (of course the day we stayed was like +30), and I always love a waterside with a pool, but after 9 hours of driving the pool was truly refreshing. Definitely recommended!

Nice modern clean hotel. Absolutely no complaints. The staff was very friendly. Although I wish the pool/hot tub was open later then 10:00pm.

Good buffet on sunday mornings.

This hotel was beautiful, and very professional. I came her on business for a conference. I didn't stay overnight, but it was great from what I experienced. The courtyard was a bit hot and humid, though.

The performance by John McDermott and his back-up duo was excellent. It was presented in the Coast Kloops Hotel Theatre — a nice intimate setting. The seats weren't very comfortable though. John was a very personable fellow and thrilled an elderly woman in a wheel chair when he came over to her and chatted with her before the concert started. He even posed for a photo with her. Apparently she has been to every one of his performances. That was such a wonderful thing for him to do.

Came here to attend the KEG conferance. Its a beautiful establishment with a very nice restaurant/bar. The establishment was very clean, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful.

Lovely staff. Chef prepared meals. Overall a very nice experience.

Put on a convention with 200 guests for 3 days nd everyone loved the facility, the food, the service, etc. Etc. Can't say anything bad about the place. The staff are extremely helpful and the management makes sure that you get everything you need.
