Crimson the reception is very friendly and efficient. The hotel is close to almost anything and my family and I enjoyed our stay.

We checked in yesterday, July 7th, and we were the first ones in the pool and hot tub after it was “closed for cleaning”. We turned the hot tub jets on and sat in it for 30 minutes before a large piece of poop floated out from one of the overflow holes. We told the guy front desk and he didn’t seem concerned. Told the front desk lady again this morning as we were checking out, and other than saying sorry and making a sour face, nothing was done. Not sure how clean this hotel actually is if that’s how well they clean their pool. Definitely going to be making a complaint to corporate because that is just absolutely disgusting and horrific.

WORST hotel experience I have ever had. Manager Lucky was rude and insulting. Was told by her we should have stayed at another hotel when addressed her with our concerns. Some staff was very rude, and was denied food at breakfast who does that! was denied sanitizing pool area before use even with COVID protocols m. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Like the manager said, you should stay at another hotel.

Our first stay at the Hampton Inn Kamloops BC and we also got the best rate. Overall we enjoyed our beds and loved the hot break. I got the opportunity to soak my tired muscles in the wonderful hot tub last night. Will definitely consider staying here in the future!

I enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn. Rooms were clean and hotel was kept in good condition. There is a packed lunch provided which I thought was a good idea. The continental breakfast was adequate. What really stood out was the service. The staff at the front reception desk remembers your name. They greet you by your name every time you walk by the front door. Excellent work guys!

Affordable and worth the price. Good check-in, great room, with great amenities, a fantastic complimentary breakfast, and an easy check-out. Only dislike would be the parking. Had a great stay and would certainly stay again.

Price performance perfectly fine. The reception was very friendly and absolutely attentive. Unfortunately, there was a dried ketchup stain on the carpet in our room. Otherwise there might have been 5 stars.

Super friendly staff everyone was nice. Miranda was excellent and super accommodating, which is always welcoming after a long drive. Room was nice and clean and view was good. Pool area was clean and stocked with towels. Will stay again!

Stayed here on my tour of Canada. Very comfy. Great swimming pool and hot tub. Very enjoyable stay.

I love Hampton Inn in general but found this one lacking We got a bottle of wine and would have loved glasses to drink out of, not paper cups! Not the usual standard. My wife stepped on a food wrapper which some other customer had left on the floor.

Room is good, service in general, can not be for the sake of guests, the hotel to arrange a special room for the disabled, but we do not have disabled Ah! Hope the hotel to change a room, but the hotel does not change, give a poor review!

Was with my family in the pool room and the only bathroom available was atrocious. Toilet overflowed and urine and feces all. Over the floor. No toilet paper, even though I had no plans of using the toilet after seeing it anyways. It didn't look like it had been checked on by staff in quite some time. No complaints other than that.

Clean hotel with great rooms. Breakfast changes items from day to day and includes cooked items as well as fresh and cut fruits. They have waffle stations and extra toppings. Has a small business desk for guest use. Overall great hotel.

The staff were friendly and ensured we were happy with our room. The pool and water slide were great for our kids and the complimentary breakfast spread was amazing! Will definitely stay here again!

Tub was very dirty. No new towels or shampoo brought. Found panties on the floor from a previous visitor. Good breakfast though.

Had a great sleep. Came in late and was greeted with friendly service and quick check in. Perfect breakfast options as well at 630 in the morning.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn. The rooms were clean and quiet. The pool and hot tub we're perfect temperatures and the free breakfast was way more than expected. Even the staff were friendly and seemed to really enjoy thier jobs. One of the better hotels I have stayed at, I will definitely stay again!

Stayed here while visiting Kamloops for work. It was booked for me, but it had all the amenities I was looking for. The gym is small but workable, and there's a pool/hot tub. Breakfast is included and had a decent variety or "continental" style foods. There's a fresh waffle maker and frozen fruit. The view was quite nice out the window, overlooking the city.

Great rate, comfy beds and the breakfast exceeded expectations. Staff were accommodating and friendly.

The room was clean the comfortable bed. The breakfast is not bad either.

I stayed here on Nov 12, 2017. Everything was great until I was charged for another night that I did not use. The hotel would not refund my money even with a change of reservation receipt. Not impressed.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the amazing staff at the Hampton Inn. My daughter just had her birthday party there this weekend and we stayed the night and they went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met and we were comfortable and happy. The kids had the best slumber party after spending hours in the pool. We will be back to celebrate more birthdays at the Hampton Inn and we highly recommend it to everyone. It is clean and comfortable and had everything we could have needed. Thank you again! From a bunch of happy girls and there family.

Stayed here this weekend, AMAZING experience! My husband, 3 kids and myself stayed two nights, had a room with two Queens, ample room for my daughter's cot as well. The pool and hot tub were great, kids loved the waterslide! The hot breakfast was really nice to have, the staff was so helpful. I'd stay here again for sure.

My best hotel stay ever. Super friendly staff upgraded our room to the honeymoon suite! Room was fantastic and we loved our stay. We will definitely come back if we're in the area.

We had a wonderful stay. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Quiet and comfortable room, and our daughter enjoyed the pool and water slide. The pool is kept at a nice temperature, not too hot or cold.

Clean and modern. It's located in a great spot if you aren't looking to be in the downtown core. There's still plenty nearby (restaurants, shopping). Continental breakfast was good. I would stay again! Wi-fi is a bit spotty, but I found that the case in all of the hotels during my stays in AB, BC.

Despite the fact that the Kamloops area has been heavy with forest fire smoke and obviously difficult conditions to deal with daily, the staff was cheerful, friendly and welcoming. Room was clean. Buffet breakfast was good — and of note was a special touch of messages written on the bananas! Seeing "you're awesome" as you are eating breakfast is a fantastic way to start the day! Koodos to the kitchen staff!

Rooms are decently sized and quite clean. Good that there was a late check-out time at noon, and the hot drinks provided at the lobby were a nice touch. Cookies at check-in were amazing! However, the slide was such a disappointment! Went at around 4pm and the slide was totally dry — had to walk-crawl half the way through. That was terrible! Especially at the part where the slide went out of the building, it was quite hot and I had to quickly scoot down. The room also faced a dirt path/ slope, not a good view at all. The breakfast in the morning was quite disappointing as well. The waffles weren't that great/ deserved the rave reviews online. When we went down at 9.30, the server had stopped putting fruits out because they said that it would be a waste. The breakfast counter closes at 10 and there were lots of people — pretty sure the fruits would have been snapped up quickly. Same for the milk, they didn't put it out anymore because it was too late.

Great service. Free full breakfast and always free coffee and tea in the lobby. Pool was nice with a great slide. Kids loved it. Would definitely go back.

The problem began when we left our room (428) for dinner — the manual lock on the door (the latch part that you can supposedly only activate when you're in the room). When we got back to our room we were locked out — despite trying to "jimmy" it open ourselves unsuccessfully (in addition to my husband going down to the desk to ask for help he wasa told the maintenance was just finishing up a job and would be right up — — no one came) About …30 minutes of waiting for someone to come help we went back to the desk. The clerk had no recollection of having spoken to my husband — (she was the only one on duty) — I explained our situation again — she immediately called the maintenance guy — he started to tell us "that's not supposed to happen — there is nothing we can do". Luckily our room had an adjoining room — I asked if they could not enter our room through that one — after two sets of keys, he was finally able to get into our room. The desk clerk said she'd make sure we were "compensated for our trouble" but upon checkout we were told that since we'd prepaid $200+ for the night — there was nothing they could do. Supposedly the manager was going to call my husband at 1530 today and discuss compensation but since it's now 1800 — I reckon no one is calling — this my poor review. There are multiple chain hotels to choose from on that very street in Kamloops — why would we go back there?

Can't go wrong with a Hampton Inn. Big room clean welcoming area. The breakfast was pretty good and a friendly staff.

The location was great and we really liked the later check out time (12 instead of 11). The staff were all very friendly. We did have a couple of issues though… the hot breakfast they provided was not that good, the food tasted microwaved and there was no oil available for the waffle machine. The other issue we had was the pool area. It is a smaller pool, whirl pool and amazing water slide all placed in a room with a slick, tile floor — extremely slippery as soon as water touches it making it dangerous to walk on.

Great hotel up on the hill in Kamloops. Located close to Costco and Canadian Tire. Less than 10 minutes drive from all restaurants and across the highway from the mall. Hotel is clean and breakfast is normal Hampton Inn style with waffle maker. Pool has a water slide.

Didn't actually stay here. They were selling hide-a-beds so I went up to look at them. Very helpful with showing the beds though.

My room was right across from the gym so it was really nice I could exercise whenever I wanted to. The hotel was very clean and they offered a very complete a continental breakfast in the morning. The staff was also very nice especially when I had lost my key card they got me a replacement right away.

The rooms are very spacious, and the beds are comfortable! The breakfast was okay, but you can't complain when it's free.

Overall experience was pleasurable. The rooms were tidy when we arrived, and staff were pleasant and friendly. Ice machine on second floor sprung a leak through the night which was a mild inconvenience. Buffet style breakfast isn't something I enjoy, although the selections of foods there was nice. Great view of the mountains and valley.

We stayed at this hotel because of the brand and our past experiences. Nice hotel rooms are abudent, but hotels with wonderful caring staff are hard to find. We were made to feel at home.

The rooms were fairly nice, but they did not want to tell us if the pool was open. The last time we stayed, the pool was closed. They wanted to charge us extra just for staying there although we had already paid for the room. The staff were fairly nice and the breakfast was good. The only thing is that they wanted to take our money.

What a great hotel. Fluffy, fresh cozy beds just like home, big screen TV, beautiful mountain views, easy parking, great breakfast, relaxing lobby where you can curl up with a book. Deserves top rating.

We just needed a hotel for the night — the Hampton Inn was prefect. Pool and water slide were open late and actually worked. Hot tub mostly worked. Rooms were no frills but clean. We were on the highway side and it wasn't very noisy. The breakfast buffet was really quite good — much better than most "free" breakfasts I've experienced at other hotels. I'd recommend it.

Hotel was nice and had all needed amenities. I didn't like the design of the lobby, and we had a great view of dirt. On the good side It had a waterslide, a pool and hot tub and the rooms were clean as usual, and the bathrooms were new and fresh. The maids seemed to take there time bringing stuff. They need to speed up. Other then that it was great.

Nice, clean and inexpenaive. Friendly folks. Great value if you're travelling through and need a convenient stop-over. The breakfast buffet could be better, but fine for the price.
