Great hotel friendly staff clean rooms.

Friendly staff, rooms and common areas very clean. I would definitely stay at the Sandman Signature next trip to Kamloops.

I am very very disappointed in my stay. The room was very nice yes, but the service was the absolute worst!
I was told the restaurant was open for room service, as well as charged $100 on my Credit card. Only to find out last night it was closed for dinner. And when I called this morning to order breakfast they proceeded to tell me it was closed.
I understand being in a pandemic and hours have been shortened etc. But when the hotel clerk charges me for room service and states we can order I am beyond upset when I try two times and can not, and than I am told they are closed Sunday and Monday.
Why are you taking charges off of cards for room service when it’s not even available?
I WILL NOT stay here again and WILL NOT recommend this hotel.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Lots of things to see and do near this hotel. Several dining options within the hotel as well as an ice cream shop! Some rooms even get a view of the river. There's a bit of noise from the trains going by but not too bad. I would stay here again.

At first was placed to a room without a patio but they were able to accommodate without an upcharge. We were upgraded and still got to keep our park view. Hotel is very nice and clean. Great location.

The room is very nice and rates are reasonable. Little kitchenette included was a nice touch. The attached restaurants are nice and the staff were very pleasant. Unfortunately there is a train track that is very busy right across the street, so sleep was difficult to find.

Car broke down coming home from Vancouver, and stayed a night in this Hotel. Staff gave us the best room available for no additional cost, and were extremely supportive through the entire stay. Amazing service, very clean, and friendly staff. Would literally stay here and drive 4 hours to Vancouver just to support this Hotel.

2nd time I've been here for work stay. Rooms are nice and clean. Downfall is they have put me both times on the back side where the train is. Loud bangs during the night until morning. They were not even busy, so they had rooms in front away from train I am sure.

The place has a modern feel with comfortable beds. The location is great — right across from a beautiful park and waterfront, where kids can swim. It's also close to the downtown area, and has two restaurants and an ice cream place attached. The pool is a good size, as is the gym, however the gym was poorly equipped. It offered no free weights or benches — only a couple of tired treadmills and a Nautilus machine. I'd stay here again, but avoid the main floor which was a bit noisy.

Hotel is relatively new (couple of years) but is incredibly cheaply constructed. Already showing wear in excess of its age. If you stay, pay the premium to get on the “park” side of the building as the city side is adjacent the railroad tracks that are constantly busy all night — very loud. Staff are good. Crappy gym equipment. Two restaurants in the hotel — neither particularly good — actually pretty bad. Don’t eat or drink at the hotel, just walk across the tracks. Micro brewery tasting room 2 min walk away — Red Collar. Also Brownstone restaurant, probably the best place to eat in Kamloops, is close by as well. Lots of other restaurant options in the area.

Good hotel in convenient downtown location. Well-decorated and comfortably furnished (I can’t remember the last time I slept so well! ). Easy walk to restaurants and shops. The waterfront park is across the street. Fitness center, indoor pool, hot tub, and outdoor area for lounging. Good value.

Clean rooms. Staff were friendly. Location is pretty nice too. Really great park across the street from the hotel and walking distance to good cafes. Would stay there again.

Omg. High class rooms at an actually decent price. So accommodating. Incredible views. 2 great restaurants connected to the hotel. Our best experience during our road trip by far.

5+ Star hotel at 4-star prices! First time staying at a Sandman chain, and boy was I impressed. The overall aesthetics of the hotel itself (lobby's decor was very abstract and exquisite, the hallways were chic and was worthy of a picture haha) and their rooms were even better. Crisp linen, bed was ultra comfortable (king size), bathroom was stellar. Staff were genuinely happy to serve you. Two restaurants located within the hotel (Moxie's and forgot the name of the other) are offer great variety of food and drinks. We also hosted a seminar there in one of their rooms for rent and their service was top notch. The spread of food available for catering is world class.

The room is missing a tub as it is only a walk in shower and it is right beside a busy railway. You can feel the bed and sofa shake ehen they go by although small I feel noteworthy. Beyond that all the amenities you couod ask for are there. Rooms are clean quiet, staff are professional and the location is bang on. I would definitely stay here again.

Usually a good time staying here. Nice rooms and the location is great. There's a freight train that rolls by which shakes the building, you really notice it on the top floor.

Very nice hotel. Would recommend getting a room on the river side as the trains running right beside the building can be noisy. They do provide a white noise machine to help drown it out though. Otherwise, great hotel.

Our room was beautiful! I could have just moved in! Great view if you're on the park side. The coffee and tea bar in the lobby was greatly appreciated! Staff is amazing!

Perfectly located for sport events since it's adjacent to the arena. Quite new, very modern inside. Overall very clean place. Close to downtown and city center Food could be better.

Everything is very clean at this hotel which is important to me. We rented a conference room and ordered catering, everything turned out great from the service to the food.

The hotel room that we were in was awesome, it was on the 6th floor, had a huge bed, an awesome bathtub, it was a really nice room. The high ceilings made it feel massive. Everything was really clean and nicely decorated. It was what I expected out of a Sandman Signature and more!

The new Sandman Signature Kamloops Hotel is situated right next to the train tracks in downtown Kamloops. Service is great, rooms are excellent, and I could not hear the trains at all as I had a great sleep. The rooms were nicely decorated and the hotel is very modern. A Moxie's restuarant opens for breakfast and then again for supper and also attached to the hotel is the Shark Club nightclub. All around a very excellent stay and I would stay here again!

The Sandman was an excellent hotel. When I searched for a hotel in Kamloops, this hotel was the best option as it is reasonably priced and the location is great. Our room was more like a 1 bedroom apartment and was very modern. Don't be discouraged by the close proximity to the train line as you barely hear the train and they provide a white noise machine and ear plugs, if required. Highly recommended :)

The rooms are nicely laid out and well stocked with amenities. Very nice coffee mugs and glasses. Staff was helpful and friendly. Walk in shower in a roomy bathroom.

Very nice hotel. Local resident so I don't often spend time in hotels in town, but the Sandman is definitely one of the cleanest and nicest hotels in the city. Location is ideal for anyone that wants to see everything that downtown Kamloops has to offer.

Great place to stay except for fire alarms going off, stink bugs in pool area and found a few in my room. Pool area and changing rooms were extremely dirty. Suggested they clean it and they were resistant and had to insist. Was not done until next day. Male patron in pool area drinking and walking around in his underwear. Next day found underwear in the Jacuzzi. Told staff about it again no big deal to them. Will not ever use the pool area again very unsanitary. Also snack machines not maintained.

Great place to stay in Kamloops. Nice underground parking as well as lot for larger vehicles. Park side rooms are the best. With city view rooms you will get a lot of train traffic noise. Nice pool and hot tub. Hotel decor is very modern. Staff is excellent.

I have to say the Kamloops Sandman Signature is probably one of the nicest and most comfortable of this company's hotels in British Columbia. The bed was comfortable, there was much less noise from passing trains than I expected. The on site food options were fresh, the kitchen at Moxie's was nice enough to still make me beakfast when I was a little past the last call for it. Great stay.

I come to Kamloops quite frequently, on my way back to Vancouver after taking tourists to visit the Rocky Mountains. Sandman Signature Kamloops is always the perfect place to stay. Best location in town, modern & spotless rooms, friendly staff and delicious breakfast.

Good place to stay. Clean and new. I think there are some design defects of the building, such as, you have to pass the linen hallway to enter the underground parking. Pretty good place in general, but not a 4 star hotel.

Very courteous and helpful staff. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Smoke from the wildfires was barely noticeable in our room. I stayed here 2 times in one week and would absolutely stay here again.

Great modern hotel close to the park and river. The price is exceptional for the value. No breakfast or restaurant but lots to choose from locally.

Great suite for us and our toddler. And 1 TV for each room in the suite was great. Can't blame the hotel for the smoke, but staying inside wasn't so bad given how nice it was. In the room.

The suites are fantastic. My family of 4 stayed In one sweet very comfortably. The pool area is very nice including a hot tub. Coffee in the morning is nice.

Great experience. Hotels were clean and roomy. Staff was the friendliest I've seen from a hotel in a long time. Nice and close to some other local establishments if you're hungry or want to go for a pint!

Great rooms with nice finishes. Only issue is the train… There are ear plugs and white noise machines in every room so it is obviously an issue. Other than that, friendly staff and nice rooms. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel with great staff. Unfortunately the fire alarm was tripped by accident in the middle of the night and the hotel did not offer any incentives.

The rooms look brand new. We had a nice River view. I really loved it. The hotel staff were wonderful and helpful. The pool was the right temp and there was a nice patio that led from the pool. Not to mention the high level gym equipment.

Meeting room was large and bright, the sound system worked very well and the lunch was excellent. Will definitely book a large meeting space again!

My boyfriend had a lucky 13 free night on our way to Alberta so we decided to stop in Kamloops at the new Sandman. The staff member who happened to be the manager up at the front upgraded us to a suite with no question. When we got into our suite it was very beautiful. Small but beautiful, the decor was amazing and the bed was so comfortable I felt like I was at home. Then we went down into the pool which was beautiful the nice sliding door which led you out into a big deck which would been nice in the summer but we were visiting in early February. I highly recommend staying here, very nice staff, clean and tidy.

Front desk staff rude. Train very loud that goes pass non stop all evening. Front desk staff don't care if you stay or not. Rates are different from reservation call center line, to when you arrive to check in. Offering one rate on the phone. We drive off our route for 30 minutes and when we check in, the rate jumped $40.00 plus dollars. Sandman Signatures are a great place to stay EXCEPT this one in KAMLOOPS, staff should be trained better. While at the desk to check in, two other people came in and left also very disappointed with the front desk. They also did not stay due to front staff attitude. Don't let this Sandman, allow you to think all Sandman Signatures are alike, the other ones we stayed at are great from walking in the door to leaving in the morning. Management at Kamloops, it is time to review with your staff, every one leaving and not checking in is not a good thing! Ken.
