Friendly staff and awesome pool!

Super disappointed in this facility. The stay itself was fine but we have discrepent charges. We have requested an invoice multiple times and they will not release one to my husband.

I spent a week here at the delta Nothing but good reviews Clean bright Good downtown location Staff was very nice Happy to help My room was pet friendly as I had my dog along with me. I would defiantly stay here again And my view was pretty nice.

The staff are friendly and outgoing — the only thing that ruined our stay was an excessive amount of loud children running up and down the halls with you parental control — and, elder lady guests were very rude. I would stay here again as long as the excess of obnoxious uncontrollable children were not here. Comfy beds — would have been nice to have a view other then construction and a rooftop view of nothing but a loud fan. The staff did realize and help my husband and I when concerns were expressed — would be recommended to ask if children are staying here prior to booking due to my husband and I had zero sleep for parents were drunk in the halls and their kids just ran wild. The staff truly are the best part of this establishment.

Wouldn’t give us a refund. We couldn’t stay there as our truck was too tall for the underground parking and their was homeless infesting the outside and the parking lot. We had valuable items that could be easily taken. We ended up going to the Coastal Hotel instead and they were AMAZING. They have security patrolling the parking lot, beautiful pool that we were able to enjoy out of the smoke (indoors), comfortable and clean rooms. I HIGHLY recommend looking somewhere else, this place is a dump. We called back a second time to try and a get a refund but the guy wouldn’t let us speak to the Vice President of the hotel, Brian. He was confrontational right off the hop. Scummy place. Check out Coastal!

Just got here so far really nice room shower is good as I am a amputee easy to get in and out lots of space for my chair in shower.

We had an absolutely great experience here this weekend! My husband & I were on our way to another property in the Okanagan to celebrate our anniversary when we received a call that our stay had to be cancelled due to covid precautions. Another speed bump in 2020! I called the Delta Marriott, explained our dilemma and was so happy with how it all worked out! All staff we dealt with were amazing! The very friendly young lady that I spoke to on the phone (& had a chance to share a laugh with at check in! ), the gentleman who handled our check in, the restaurant staff (both in the wonderful restaurant and who brought us drink service at the hot tub area) and the housekeeping staff we interacted with during our stay were all so friendly and helpful! On top of that, they set us up with a wonderful surprise of a bottle of sparkling wine and a couple chocolates in our room to help celebrate our modified anniversary plans!
The suite was beautiful with lots of room. Very bright, nicely finished and very quiet. Underground parking was secure.
Overall, a fantastic stay. We will be back soon!

Hubby and I wanted to have a staycation in town so we decided to try out the newly renovated Marriott. It did not disappoint! We spent the entire day by the rooftop pool (with excellent service by Rhea), and lounged. It felt like we were at a resort. The rooms are great, very sleek and modern. Great view of the valley too! We went to Cordo for dinner and we were blown away by the service and food. 10/10! Portions were so generous and the drinks were so tasty. We even went back for their brunch. If you’re looking for a getaway not too far from home, book with Marriott. You won’t be disappointed! We will be back! :)

Unreal pool. Feel like your at a resort and never in yhe downtown core. all the staff are amazing!

The staff are helpful and considerate all the time in a professionally trained way. The rooms are kept very clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom facilities excellent. There is a great rooftop outside swimming pool and hot tub, with towels provided and staff available if you want drinks or something to eat. The hotel chef is recommended to serve excellent artistically presented food and there is relaxing chilled background music continually. An overall pleasant and comfortable experience.

Wedding Venue was extremely nice. Perfect size for about 100 people. Indoor and outdoor areas which was really nice. Really enjoyed the food, salmon and roast beef were both very good. Staff also very nice but unobtrusive. We had a lovely time.

Went to the 540 for a professional social event and the experience was great. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very good. The event was hosted on the pool deck and the view of the setting sun was phenomenal.

Rooms are nice! Roodtop Pool excellent with day beds and hot tub. Great service by the pool for food and drinks. Be careful at front desk with late check out or early check in they will charge you $20-30 per. Park outside for $9 as its safe and right behind hotel. Very nice front desk staff. On site security all night.

Location is good to get to downtown park. Rooms are fair, but expensive. They did have a free drinks as we got there. This was the stop over for the Rocky Mountaineer. Excellent coffee, tea for us when we boarded buses to head back to the train. Needs to be updated. People at the front desk were great!

The hotel is nice and clean, appears to be newer. All the employees I've met have been very helpful and pleasant. The location is great, close to shopping & restaurants. Not too far away from the park. Great views.

Wonderful hotels are created by architects & builders but wonderful hotels that are remembered and revisited are created by the staff that greet and serve you. It is obvious that the owners and management of this particular Hotel 540 want it to be a wonderful & memorable hotel … from the front desk and all throughout the staff made my stay enjoyable … I can give them a double thumbs up and toss in a tickidee-boo!

Excellent service from the time you check in till the time you leave. Pool service was a very nice touch to cap off a warm day. The charcuterie board in the restaurant was one of the best I have had, along with the cheese board great combo. All items on the boards were local and the jalapeno jelly was an excellent compliment to the cheese. Thanks I will be back again looking forward to my next stay.

I had a great stay at the hotel. I had to make a last minute minute booking and had no issues. The staff at the front desk were nice and also helpful with recommendations. The room was grest for one person. No issues.

Very friendly staff. No bathtubs. They did not pick up my breakfast request so I did not receive breakfast until I called. It is right downtown and hard to tell where to park to check in. It looks like a drive through alley. Other than that, the place is nice.

I attended an event at the hotel and the staff was nice and the room was set up and clean. Kitchen staff provided a good breakfast and great service.

This hotel is in a great location in downtown Kamloops. The beds are comfortable and the room is fairly spacious. The shower and sink faucet are both very weak and temperature control is poor. The pool on the outdoor terrace is quite nice but not very large. Overall, a decent stay.

Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast menu. The bar is alright for selection.

There for a meeting. Provided with appetizers, which were OK. Some were good, others not so much. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Hotel is clean, nice and newly renovated. Pool spa is awesome, service great, fare excellent, location superb in the heart of downtown Kamloops. I'll return for sure!

Good location. Easily walked to dinner nearby. Underground parking was very convenient as it started to snow during my stay. Rooms are quiet, the gym is good, and next time I definitely want to get into the roof top pool! Just forgot my bathing suit.

Love Blue! It's one of our regular go to places. The menu offers something for everyone (even me the vegan). Last night we were there for our son's 20th birthday and had an amazing time! Our server Shanizz was wonderful! 3 large groups and several smaller ones that she maintained easily on her own. My only complaint… the gratuity option on the machine starts at 10% … although people like me know to hit 'other' many people will just opt to the first one. IMHO 15% should be the absolute minimum starting point. With 18% and 25% available for the exceptional times like we experienced last night! Cheers… see you soon!

Rooms are a little dated. The building itself has been reno'd and is quite modern. Amazing outdoor oor pool and patio. Restaurant is not so great but you are walking distance to tons of great eats.

This is my second stay at hotel 540 and each time was exceptional. Great rooms, the rooftop pool is awesome, but the staff is really what makes it. A great experience. For me it's a no brainer when I come to kamloops.

We have stayed here on our way to northern BC. We picked this place as it was centrally located and close to shopping and dining DT Kamloops. The room we got was simple but clean and cozy. Service wasn't excellent but decent enough. The breakfast was delicious though and with the heated rooftop pool and hot tub that we had for ourselves made for a pleasent stay. We will consider staying here again.

Went to the toys for kids breakfast here in their big hall. Food was excellent and there is always plenty of parking. Staff is friendly and always ready to make it right.

I was there for a Christmas party for our company. The food was delicious and professionally displayed in a buffet style. The room was suitably decorated for our occasion and a bartender was provided for drink orders. The only thing I could mention that could use improvement is the drink selection and the bartender's knowledge of mixed drinks.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in term is service and food. The staff are very passionate about their work and looking after the guest. The food, bar none, some of the best I’ve had! The chef works with the seasons beautifully. My only suggestion, is better Wi-Fi. Keep up the great work and the little touches.

We visited this hotel as a stopover on our Rocky Mountaineer Scenic Railway tour and then later as tourists and visitors. The town of Kamloops is a well supported town with easily accessible amenities. The walk down to the river is stunning. Great tourist friendly town great Bar Restaurants all within a few blocks of the hotel. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Felt spacious enough with its open bar kitchen space. Staff friendly and professional. Excellent mention to the guy in the lobby who ran my wife and I and another recently engaged couple down to the platform as our organised Rocky Mountaineer bus driver left both couples standing in the street as he pulled away from the hotel. Thanks mate I think I tipped you but I'm embarrassed that I cant remember your name to give you proper credit. It was a great help and you were so friendly and reassuring about it all.

The lounge inside the hotel was incredibly understaffed with two wedding receptions happening at the same time. It took over thirty minutes to get a beer. As for the reception itself? It was great, nothing to complain about at all. Food and table service was top notch.

It was a great stay and we got upgraded to a better room for our wedding night. The bed was comfortable, the room clean (except for a toenail we found on the couch), and the room service breakfast was good. We enjoyed ourselves and loved the view.

Was there for a wedding on the weekend. Beautiful setting just wish the air conditioning would have worked better. It's hard to look nice when u r sweating. I would like to commend one person especially because I think she did amazing. Her name was Amy and she was part on the staff clearing tables and filling up water. She checked on us regularly and always had a smile on her face all night long. At one point she was filling in behind the bar and still was rocking the job in front of her.

We attended a wedding at your hotel this last weekend. We enjoyed your facilities very much. It was very clean, staff was helpful, especially the restaurant staff when we arrived Sunday morning with a large group. We had to take over the bar area, no room left in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. The only thing that I felt was lacking was an easy chair in the room so that I could sit and enjoy my book. I guess my joints and bones are getting too old to try to sit on a bed to do this. Need better back support. Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend. Esther Dowell.

I had a great experience here when I was passing through for one night on my way to Vancouver. Was greeted by a very nice valet who helped me unload my bags and took them up to the room for me. Front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was small but provided all of the required amenities. The pool area was awesome, nice pool and hot tub as well as a server going around taking drink orders. I am currently at another "hotel" in town while I'm passing through on my way back home and am totally regretting not going back to 540. If I am ever back in Kamloops I will definitely be coming back here. Thanks for a great experience!

Fantastic stay at this hotel! Staff were very accommodating when we wanted to switch out room at the last minute. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool and spa were spacious and refreshing, and the breakfast was delicious. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Straightforward hotel right in the middle of things. Easy walk to Riverside Park. Across the street from the supermarket and drugstore. Tons of restaurants within an easy walk. Hotel itself is basic and gets the job done. Rooms are small but clean and cozy. Decent restaurant. Has a pool that we didn't use this trip. Attractive signage on the building. Easy parking.

We had dinner at Blue restaurant. Service, food and drinks were great!

My wife and I spent a night at the 540 hotel in Kamloops and I just want to say that we were thoroughly impressed. They offered us two options which we selected the club floor which included parking and full breakfast in the morning. We spent time at the rooftop pool and also were directed to some great dining in the city. The staff were really on there game and the breakfast was awesome. We had our choice of anything on the menu (rare) and were very pleased that on checkout we were given a full review of our bill. 540 you could be called 1040. Thanks so much we will return.

We wanted to hold a private gathering to honour a very special person in Kamloops. Our timeline was incredibly short — less than a week and our budget quite small. The Hotel 540 came through in an exceptional manner. From the booking to planning the food; from the room set up to the décor, from the food to the service — everything was absolutely first class. Thank you David and your team for helping us make this a very special occasion. I would recommend Hotel 540 without reservation for any event.

Spent one night at the Hotel 540 in Kamloops and was very impressed. Staff was friendly upon arrival and the rooms were nice and the beds really comfy. I had my two small kids with me so the roof top pool was fantastic especially since it was so hot when we arrived. We spent the entire evening swimming and even ordered poolside service which was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel if you are passing through Kamloops.

This hotel has undergone significant renovations and is still being renovated, but you wouldn't know it unless you go outside and have a look, so don't let that scare you away. The transformation to the rooms is first class. The staff are friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the downtown location. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to a friend.

Everyone at the Hotel worked so hard to make our wedding reception perfect. The acoustics in the room worked very well, however the atmosphere did get quite warm from inadequate A/C.

Old and dated Small rooms No exercise space Tawdry casino takes up far too much space. Restaurant sadly below par (fortunately tap house across the street). "Secure" parking, but the card reader doesn't work. Pretty unimpressive. Best feature are free internet.
