I really enjoy this quaint and peaceful spot. It’s rustic charm Oceanside with all the necessities you need to completely relax. I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Great ocean front cabins with a wonderful view and setting. Nicely sheltered bay that is great for paddling, beach combing and collecting shellfish. Close to town and other activities as well (mountain biking, etc. ) Hope to return here again when the opportunity arises!

Beautiful place right on the water. Very nice to walk along the beach anytime and especially at sunset. Early morning walks along the beach are fantastic. Excellent management and helpful friendly staff.

From the drive into the property we were scared and it looked run down… however it turned out great. Had a super fun 2 bedroom and loft ocean side townhouse that was fun rustic. It would have been 5 stars but the kitchen seemed like it needed a deep cleaning. I would stay here again for sure however if you need impeccable finishes and modern architecture and interior, look elsewhere.

Simple, natural nature, dont forget to obtain a license. Fresh manila clam and oysters are waiting right down from your cabin if you know how to cook. This place is heaven. Lets just hope its not red tide.

Very cute and love having the full kitchen with communal BBQ area. Worth the stay in this area.

Quiet area ocean front. Cozy bungalow. Amazing view. The room has a little kitchenette with everything you need including plates, pots and pans. So just bring yourself and enjoy as I did the comfort of having the gas fireplace, TV, a beautiful view on water, free breakfast in the Lobby if you stay only a day or two.

If you get the oceanfront cabins. They are quite ok, with a million dollar view.

This is the third time I've stayed at this location. I've been very happy and thus came back. But as of this past visit, 190$ for one night!, I'd prefer to stay at Kents beach cabins. One night off season (pouring awful rain, didn't use any wood for a fire or anything, and left cabin in tip top shape). I could have stayed at Kents beach for 2 nights instead of the one night at Oceanside for the same price! Not a happy camper! I will not patron this establishment ever again!

Had such a nice stay! Cabin was super cozy and the view was amazing! Staff was super helpful and friendly. Great place for a family. This will be my go to place to stay while in Powell River.

Great summer time place for all kinds of tourists, close to the ocean. We live on site all year. A very friendly staff and owner.

We really liked this place. Too bad there was a fire ban when we visited because there was a fire pit on the beach in front of our room we could've cooked over. The view was amazing.

Beautiful views and friendly staff. I just did the drywall for the new building there and the accommodations look very nice and updated.

Cute cabins right on the ocean. Breakfast was fair. Friendly front line staff. Clean. Beds so so. Be for warned of the walkway to the beach. Sloped gravel walkway. I broke my foot. Messaged management. Re gravel on the slope. No response in the least! I've been off work for 9 weeks thus far!

Spent a lovely evening here after a hiking trip. It was a beautiful spot on the ocean where we could relax and enjoy the sunset. Clean and comfortable rooms made for a great stay.

After spending a few days hiking the Sunshine Coast Trail we decided to enjoy the amenities of the real world and spend a night at the Oceanside Resort. This place was everything we had hoped for and more. From the wonderful and courteous staff to the homey cabins, the Oceanside Resort was an amazing place to relax after a tiring hike. If you're planning on hiking the SCT, or just passing through Powell River; be sure to make a stop at the quiet Oceanside Resort — even if it's just for one night!

We where booked in for 2 nights and ended up staying for 7 nights. This place is amazing and the staff are so accommodating but one stands out the most. Thank you Emma you rock! We have booked in for next year and bringing our family with us.

Had a great time at Oceanside Resort. Beautiful spot on the water. Myrtle Rocks are super fun to walk out too and lots of sea life to watch. Cabins are excellent and top notch service. Will definitely be back!

Had a great time with the kids (4 & 7). You can walk out to the ocean. There are numerous tidal pools at low tide. The ocean front cabins have a great view. They're quaint but have 2 separate bedrooms and a loft with a basic kitchen. We fit 4 adults and 2 kids in easily. We'll be back for sure next summer. I would highly recommend water shoes or some closed toe shoes cause the rocks have barnacles. You can watch harbour seals from your deck at high tide.

This resort was a weekend paradise, it rained while we were there but it didn't put a damper on any of the activities, this was probably the best vacation I've ever had & I can't wait to go back.

We had a lovely time wanting for nothing. We stayed in a comfortable cottage with an incomparable ever changing view. We chose yummy waffles for breakfast most days. Thanks be to the Ambassadors of comfort, Emma and her crew, for the cheerful hospitality.

Great place to visit! The location has a great view of texada island and the ocean is at your door. The cabins are clean and kept that way by the wonderful manager Emma and her staff. Chelsea is new this year to the resort but she is fitting in so well no one would ever know. The owners, (Joan & Ron) have done a wonderful job making resort one of a kind. Always clean grounds and beautiful landscaping make the stay even more pleasant, while the pool and playground is just what children and adults alike can always enjoy. *The playground is near the BBQ area so kids are kept busy while the adults cook and mingle with the other guests if they would like to. Kitchen facilities are in each abode while in the office has continental breakfast. All in all beautiful grounds, nice staff, clean rooms. What more could a person want? The sunsets! Amazing sunsets and starry nights are the icing on the cake. All in all this review would be 10 if I could make it 10! 15 minutes out of Powell River… vacation complete. It's a winner!

Lovely and serene, they have their own real waffle maker for breakfast and the staff are great. They are pet friendly and it is good value for the money, easy access to Powell River, We will be back.
