Older furniture and bedding. The bathtub didn't look to be cleaned when we arrived. The breakfast was not appetizing. I chose to avoid it completely the second day. Staff wasn't particularly friendly. However, the location was convenient.

Great place to stay. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is also good. It's more affordable than some of the other options but the room was clean and had a nice bathroom.

Stayed at the hotel for almost a month on and off for work Hotel is nice. Clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. They got good brakefest Staff was very helpful as well.

Nice rooms, great Wi-Fi, beds are comfy. A nice place to stay vs the hotels in the surrounding areas. Staff is great and the continental breakfast had many different accessory options and all you can eat :)

Small hotel that looks more like a motel. Well maintained, he would still ask for some refreshment. The room was clean as a whole, but we noticed some mold stains in the shower and the duvets would have needed a little wash. A small fridge and a microwave were available in the room. We also had access to an outdoor pool.
The staff were helpful and welcoming. The lunch included was correct: scrambled egg, sausage or bacon, sliced bread, yogurt, chopped fruit, dried or fresh, juice, coffee, milk, cupcake/pastries, etc. We did not expect better or worse for this kind of establishment.
The location was great for us who wanted to enjoy the Stanley Park (15 minutes by car) and attractions further north of Vancouver. Access to the main roads was very easy.

Excellent location for cyclists. The crossing of the bridge that leads to Stanley Park is fabulous!

Had a good stay here. Staff were friendly, room clean and decent location in North Van — easy access to Grouse and bus routes to central Vancouver. Near enough to a large new modern shopping centre and a Tim Hortons — a Canadian restaurant chain. The breakfast are great. You will be filled to the brim, as it is buffet style.

Nice place. Local and close to downtown vancouver. Great little all you can eat brekfast makes sure you leave every morning stuffed and ready for your day. Will stay again.

Very small rooms and too expensive to spend the night without great services or amenities.

The rooms are very clean and cozy. Equipped with a fridge and a microwave + coffee machine. Awesome breakfast: eggs and sausages, cold cuts, fruits and stuff. They have a machine that makes pancakes! And all this on a budget!

Was everything we needed in a budget hotel. Clean, warm and breakfast provided. Helpful front desk.

Rooms are clean, however heating/ac runs all night on and off no matter what setting it is at, aside from off. Breakfast leaves something to be desired, however for the price that it is, hard to beat. Great location if needing to shop at Park Royal in West Van.

Excellent location for the mountains.

The staff were friendly. Locations was good, close to Stanley Park, as well as only a 20 minute walk from the mall. The included breakfast was good, nothing excrptional, but not bad either. My only real complaint is the beds were not very comfortable, I kept tossing and turning both nights I was there. Overall, would definitely go back given the good price.

The service in front desk is good and they are friendly. But the hotel requires a good remodel! … It is supposed to have TripAdvisor awards but if it was for me… took them off.

Don't judge a book by its cover. While tye exterior may look like a motel 8, the rooms are really nice and they have a very good breakfast.

Pool was beautiful, laying in the pool in the afternoon looking up at the Grouse mountain. Rooms are kind of dated but still clean and good for the price. The staff are very friendly and approachable with lots of information about the city and directions. The free buffet breakfast was great with fruit juice, waffles, sausages, eggs and cereals. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends who visit. Would definitely visit again at this price.

Its inexpensive and relatively clean. Staff are friendly, helpful, probably my favorite part of my stay. Coffee is good and available 24/7 at reception. The continental breakfast is not bad at all but could use some fresh fruit. There are some less desirable guests staying here, however, they seem to keep to themselves.

Satisfied customer! The room was fine, Wi-Fi reliable, restaurants within walking distance and free decent breakfast. It is pricey but it is in Vancouver! Easy to go to downtown (10-15 min) and Stanley Park via the city bus which is one block from hotel. I would stay again.

Good rooms… great staff and excellent breakfast… stayed there for 3 days. This place is near tourist spots …

Hotel room had a bad smell. It smelled like a combination of cigarette smoke and air freshener. I could hear the people in the room next door clearly. They made noise until late at night. Between the two I didn't get much sleep. I gave it two stars because the breakfast was pretty good.

I was in the best area Of Vancouver Capilano Road and I loved it. The city, the education, their concepts fit, all doing exercise in your beautiful Stanley park, it is a culture.

This place is a dump. For $250 a night I expect much better. Very dated decor, hwy motel atmosphere, parking is designed for smart cars. Do yourself a favor and drive past this sh to the Best Western next door.

Nothing special but very functional and correct. The style is that of American motels, easy for cars, space, services, prices dexorosi.

Clean rooms, friendly service and great price. Our flight arrived earlier and they let us check in before the stated check-in time. Breakfast could use some improvements but I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a short term stay.

A good hotel in a convenient location close to some dining options and the Capilano/Grouse Mtn tourist areas. Breakfast was good in dining area and rooms were spacious and quiet. We came back to stay here again after our tour of the Rockies.

Returning back to home from a week-long BC vacation, we decided to stay one night in this hotel to catch an early morning flight. It was horrible! The rooms are noisy (close to Capilano Rd, with terrible sound insulation). The dark covering curtains on the windows are fixed and cannot be closed! This makes it uncomfortable at night when you turn on the lamps in the room. Also, the hallway lighting is on overnight which with the fixed dark curtains makes it impossible to sleep at night. The bed sheets were dirty with stains and hair. The shower drain did not work. Water was backing up because of the slow-moving drain.

I consider it a good hotel for one or two nights, rest and follow…

It's a nice facility but be careful with your wallet, they tend to keep the deposit and don't transfer back to your bank account. They told me that could take up to 5 days and so far it's the day.

PROS; Very attentive staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Outdoor swimming pool; nice, but noisy. CONS; Very noisy Air Conditioner that had bearing problem. Toilet leaked; had to turn off water. Fan in bathroom whined each time we turned on light. FLASH COMMENTS; Staff; Excellent Russian speakers. English speaking; spotty! Cleanliness; Top Rate. Parking; Very adequate, both sides of building. Laundry; Did not use Ice Machine; At pool house; difficult to get to and far from room. Street Noise; 1-10=4; Buses, Heavy trucks.

Booked off Expedia, seemed to be an issue once we arrived, the front staff was initially rude and I was told there were no rooms even though I had booked and paid for a room on Expedia. Eventually the guy said he seen my reservation, and was accommodating afterwards. Heard a lot of stupid idiot comments from the guy. The room was clean and comfortable which was the main thing. I won't be back but it was good in a pinch.

Great location in North Vancouver. Shops and food right across the street including Persian food and Donairs. A busy street is outside the hotel, but once you close the door, you hear nothing. Absolute silence. And the pillows are amazing. Clean, quaint and affordable accommodations. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is in a good location. There's a bit of traffic noise, but still pretty quiet. Super close to Stanley Park. There's free parking which is sweet. The people at the desj were nice too. Overall, good. I'd stay here again for sure.

North Vancouver Mitsubishi had a great staff. They were very well up to date on the all current cars from every dealership. I told them I was interested in a new vehicle and a couple minutes later I was behind the wheel of a 2014 Outlander for a test drive. I couldn't believe how great of a vehicle it was. It handled each corner with precision and was equipped with amazing safety features (my wife loved the rearview mirror). I bought the Outlander the next day and 25, 000kms later I have yet to see any issues! I strongly recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was AMAZING! Only problems were that the windows looked right into the room onto the hall so it was a bit of a privacy problem and there weren't any screens on the windows. Also during busy times when many people in the hotel are using the internet, the connection was poor but the prices are an amazing deal based on the location and excellent service. I seriously recommend this hotel if you're traveling on a budget.

Perfectly good. Clean and efficient. Wifi was excellent. More of a motel than hotel, but no complaints at all.

This is a great hotel for the price and in a great location. The room was acceptable and clean enough for the four of us (wife + 2 kids, aged 1 and 3). The breakfast was a bonus. The breakfast room is small as others have mentioned, but we never had a problem all sitting together. The breakfast itself is simple: toast, cereal, eggs (probably from a carton), bacon, etc. The pool isn't huge, but worked well enough for my 3 year old and I. This hotel isn't fancy but I would totally stay here again given the value. We used the hotel primarily to sleep and for breakfast. It served it's use well. If you are planning on spending a lot of time in your room other than sleeping, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you are looking for a place to sleep and have a quick bite to eat in the morning, this place is excellent. One thing I will mention is to ask for a room away from the road. Someone else mentioned this on their review so I was sure to do this. We were far enough away from the road that the traffic wasn't bothersome at all.

Horrible Hotel! I mean the location is good and everything but the service was poor. The food was mediocre and the room wasnt clean. When I was checking in it took them half an hour to get my room ready and when I got into the room it wasnt clean at all. The floor hadnt been vacuumed, seemed like they were rushing. Will not go here again.

After reading reviews about this hotel on many sites, I wasen't sure what to expect. BUT it is a very nice hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. The dining room is small, but what can you expect when they took a few rooms that they use to make money on, and turn them into a nice small breakfast room, and don't charge you for the food. Only complaint I have is some people who stay here take it upon themselves to be pigs. They leave a huge mess, and expect other people to sit at the table when they are done. Can't people take the time, and use a napkin to wipe the table off? The staff are busy running around cleaning up the mess you leave at the serving counters. I will tell people to stay here, and we will be staying here on our next trip. Where else does the front desk print out directions for you, and then personally take the time to go over them with you.

I bought a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara new off of the showroom floor in 2007. Within a year I started having issues with a squeak coming from the engine and brought it to North Van Suzuki several times and they kept telling me that there was nothing wrong that they could find. The transmission started slipping and then the squeaking got worse. I got a notice in the mail saying that there was a recall on a pulley. I brought it in and it fixed the problem with the squeaking temporarily. A few months later the squeaking started again and for 2 years I brought it in over and over again to be repaired and they said there was nothing wrong. I was getting very frustrated at this point and I told them I didn't want the car back until they fixed it. They held it for a week and told me there was nothing wrong so I took a technician on a test drive and he still couldn't hear the sound that I could hear. They actually tried to say it was just the drivers side seat sliding back and forth! Another year goes by and the car is running worse and worse the problem isn't fixed and I am at the end of my rope. I drop it off again and they say there is nothing wrong with it and I come back in to take another tech on a ride to hear it. He doesn't see or hear anything wrong even though I can clearly hear it and then it happened. The engine blew and it was completely screwed. With this so called mechanic in the car!
