When we arrived they dubbele charge the room price. Gave us a room inside. Wild party's at night.

Bad experience with neighbors. The place is older, but seems to be kept up somewhat. Noise from guests upstairs, needs some renovation. The worst was the next night where there was a group of teens. They were having fun, but making too much noise. I talked to them and they said they would quiet down. Didn't, so we just toughed it out. Walls and adjoining doors are too old to accommodate the noise. Find another place and have a good night's sleep.

We had an OK stay. Everything is quite mediocre. Cleanliness: surfaces are clean but if you look closely you'll find a hand full of hairs from the previous occupants scattered around the bathroom and sink. Room: has everything, but everything is also quite dated. The AC is so loud you can't have it running while sleeping. Service: nice, but slow and also strictly bound by their rules and not very flexible. Breakfast: not the worst thing but clearly a 'we should tick this box' effort. Nothing they put too much effort in. The eggs were the most hideous I've ever seen in my life. But there were enough other options. Etc…

A good location to get to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Stanley Park.

Absolutely amazing hotel for the price. I had a mini suite. It had a living room area with a couch, table, and TV. It had a kitchenette, a separate bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom also had a TV. The courtyard is beautiful with the fountain and seating. There are two corner stores right next to the hotel in case you need some drinks or snacks. And it’s perfectly located if you’re visiting, no downtown van traffic, close to the central areas of north and west van, and lonsdale.

Really nice rooms, lots of room and nice and clean! The breakfast was nice. The location is great with close links to transport into Vancouver. Nice area to walk around and the hotel was reasonably priced.

I stayed there for 3 weeks. The rooms were great, I had a room with a kitchenette which was great. The beds are very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The only thing they should improve is there breakfast. The eggs were disgusting. I couldn't have them on my third day there. I skipped breakfast for the two and a half weeks there because of it. Breakfast: 1 star. Everything else: 5 stars.

Not a terrible place to stay … but they offer a continental breakfast that is so bad, I highly doubt they've ever received a visit from a health inspector. My mom stayed here when she came to visit me and she chose this place because they offer a breakfast. I've worked in kitchens before and have a pretty good idea of how a kitchen should run. Literally everything they served was 3-4 days old. The waffle batter was old, the pastries were not thrown out after they had clearly expired, but rather, put out every morning for people to eat. They even had this giant water tank that hadn't been touched the entire week that my mom stayed there. It was just a giant water jug of stagnant water sitting on the counter, untouched, for the whole week. If you are a health inspector and you are reading this, shame on you. This place will definitely make someone very sick, if they haven't already.

I used to be a regular here, but seems to have gone under new management… Prices increased drastically, greatly out of proportion to what is provided and the excellent competing motels right next door, and staff no longer friendly and customer oriented… The staff and owner seem concerned with lecturing rather than listening … Shame… Check out the Grouse Inn, Best Western etc. In the area… less expensive and now, much better!

Pretty good value for what you pay. Good breakfast in the morning. Staff is responsive to need. Good workout location within five minute walk. One minor inconvenience was their air condition units in the room let in cold air — not good if you stay during the winter months and trying to warm up in your room.

The comfort inn in North Vancouver is a great hotel to stay at, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. The bed bug incident was an isolated incident from what I’ve read. I’ve stayed at the comfort inn and would definitely recommend it to others. I would stay there again.

It's decent. Rooms are standard. Parking is easy, Breakfast is above average. Customer service is ok. Nothing shines, but nothing is dull.

Stayed at comfort inn for 3 days and don't know why there are negative reviews. That bed bug issue was an isolated incident as I read the news reports. The room was great… instead of one large room it had walls to separate the living area, a bedroom and bathroom. Bonus was having a mini kitchen with stove, pans and dishes. I'm also not there all day, only sleep but great for us. Great location as Stanley park is just over the bridge and FREE parking. Only one criticism was that while showering the windows in the wall were black and dirty. Not something you want in your shower and bed could be a bit bigger. Still, I will definitely be booking this hotel when we return next year as the price beats out all with the extra amenities.

Spacious rooms with seating area. Bit noisy from outside traffic. Complementary breakfast was not that great but not too bad.

Very clean and comfort place to stay. Kids enjoyed swimming pool. Very friendly staff.

Service completely overwhelmed. Did not even ask on which card I wanted to be debited. Room correct but poorly insulated from both the noise of the neighbors and the daylight.

Four Stars because of its price. * Calling this establishment a hotel is a bit of a strech but it's a good place to stay if you're travelling and only need a room for one night. If you're an American tourist you'll find it pricey for whats provided. Around $200 USD for what is basically a motel room with a couple of the compliments of a hotel, namely house cleaning, room service and a complimentary breakfast. I didn't stick around long enough to see if house cleaning did a good job but the breakfast is very good. A selection of cereal, coffee, eggs, sausage, pancakes, toast, oatmeal and a good selection of pastries. If you're a tourist and can't find anywhere else to stay (like me) then this is a fine place to spend a night or two.

We stay at Choice Hotels on a regular basis when traveling in the US. This was the first one I had stayed at in Canada. For a regular Comfortable Inn, a full 4/5 ⭐'s. The rooms were fairly well cared for inside even though the overall structure looked a bit beat up from the outside. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool, breakfast and laundry services are available. Entry to property is a bit cramped and it is difficult to enter from the road (Capilano Rd) when headed south. Overall, I would consider staying here again if plans brought me to North Vancouver, BC again.

Clean rooms, good service and cheaper than starting in downtown Vancouver. Breakfast is a bonus. Also, closer to some of the attractions in North Vancouver like Grouse mountain and capilano suspension bridge.

The price and location are absolutely perfect for anyone visiting Vancouver. The rooms are very clean and quiet, with fast and stable Wi-Fi. Great and comfortable stay!

Location was great — 5 minutes from Capilano Suspension Bridge. Price was great, and the Wi-Fi is fast. Staff was very friendly, as well! Definitely a budget place to stay, though.

Was a nice stay. Great location. Outdoor pool was good. A little small but did the trick. Will be back again.

A very reasonably priced accommodation in North Vancouver The room stayed in was clean modest and was the perfect answer for some time off to explore the great city. Ask about the Snow bus that stops off at this hotel and takes you to Whistler Blackcomb along the scenic sea to sky highway. The staff were very helpful and were never hesitant to give help. More so the 246 bus stops off there. Lynn Canyon and grouse mountain etc are accessible as well. Make sure to get your compass cards for easy travels in metro Vancouver.

Stayed at the north van location. Great customer service, a clean room and reasonable price. The staff was able to help jump my car that wouldn't start in the morning and were very polite and friendly. Will definitely stay again!

Great customer service. The Wi-Fi is terrible. Free breakfast includedbut there is not much variety. The room looks old but otherwise it wasn't a bad experience.

This place is more of a motel than an inn. However, it was clean and the staff were knowledgeable and we got free breakfast that we didn't even know was included. Wifi was annoying as you had to keep logging in, but it was fast enough. The 246 bus stops right outside so that was great too. I didn't give it more stars because I felt it could have been nicer for the money we paid, but it was good enough.

Pros: — On Capilano St. In north van, which is calm and nice. — Bed was very comfortable did not want to get out of it. — free parking in safe area right outside your room. — cheaper choice Cons: — Room smelled of cleaning supplies. Put off a bad vibe. — bathroom was not really dirty but there was dirty grout in the shower and the light did this creepy flickering sound when you turned it on. — someone had left the window open in the bathroom, prob to air out the chemical smell from a recent carpet cleaning. Luckily it was a little cooler so there were no bugs in the air. — the place was not well renovated. Everything gave off a creepy vibe. I first got in there and thought I was gunna just sit on bed and be up all night. Overall, Spend an extra 20-40 per night and go somewhere waaayy better.

Overall a fantastic stay and value! The ladies at the front named Maryam and her very hospitable Polish colleague (I believe name was Portola) were both wonderful and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Stayed here with two high school teams for a tournament (15-17 year olds). First impressions were that it was not especially nice and potentially less secure but acceptable for a night or two. First issue was that the rooms were spread out rather than close together, meaning players had to go a long ways to find an adult if necessary. This was a problem when two men who came back to the motel drunk at midnight started a physical fight with each other in a room sandwiched between two of the girls' rooms. When notified the front desk merely called the room of the two men, who swore at the staff, hung up the phone, then started swearing through the walls. At that point the police were called and arrived quickly, however the front desk staff then criticized us for calling them. Some of the players in a neighboring room then notified us that the lock on their door was broken, but the staff said there wasn't anything they could do since the motel was full. The whole experience made for a very stressful stay, and the lack of concern for guest safety was never addressed or rectified by the motel staff. We picked this name brand hotel over the cheaper independent motels nearby in order to ensure a safe and reliable experience, but ended up with the exact opposite.

The hotel is a great location to get to and from downtown Vancouver. And not to far away from Grouse Mountain and Capilono Suspension Bridge.

Stayed here for 1 week (on business) but now I'm wishing I had booked elsewhere. Issues: — My room faced the courtyard, fairly quiet except for the individual staying/living right above me. At times it felt like the ceiling was going to cave in from the noise above (called to complain). — The toilet in my room was wobbly — Upon returning at the end of everyday, there was more hair in my room than when I left. On the floor, pillow etc. Perhaps the cleaning staff can wear hairnets or hats? Just a suggestion. — After checking in, I noticed the mini fridge door had been left ajar and there was thick ice everywhere. I couldn't be bothered to change rooms and had to defrost the fridge myself. — The original room I was given could not be accessed since the electronic door did not work. *For the same price, you definitely have more/better options! 1 positive, front desk staff very friendly and try to accommodate.

Great location by the Lions Gate Bridge. Introverted design with outdoor swimming pool in centre. – 6/10.

I made reservations at this hotel for our hockey team based on the recommendations from the local hockey association. The hotel turned out to be a nightmare. All I heard from all of the parents was what a dive it was, and for $100 CDN as a reduced rate, it was outrageously expensive. The tv's didn't work in two of the rooms. The heat did not work in two of the rooms. Street noise is excessive. One of the team members got sick on the continental breakfast, after he realized that the waffles he was eating were all moldy. Definitely will not be recommending this place for stay, and I will be contacting the host association, and the hotel chain to make sure that they realize the problems that we experienced.
