Good hotel decent distance from downtown. Clean room, great staff and good service. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. As soon as we walked into the room we turned around and left. Tried to get a refund but she wasn't about to let that happen! So they got a free $300 … Not impressed about that part at all. She's all friendly and happy to take your money but when you ask for it back because you decide not to stay she turns into a real nasty b****. There were about 10 crackheads sitting at a hotel table outside smoking crack. Homeless people begging for change, garbage all over the parking lot, piss smelling rooms, way over priced, just an all around dump that a should be burnt.

Overpriced, if you are staying here then no need to go to insect planet. You will find new species every day. Stayed there for 2 weeks unfortunately as places were overbooked due to high tourist season. Their ice machine is out of order since the beginning of the time. Old furniture. Never going to stay there again. Will not prefer to stay here again. They advertise "superior suite" in many websites but they do not have any such suite. Upon arrival I was 5old they dont have superior suite but can give me 2 beds in a room. What would a single person do with 2 beds in almost same space as 1 bed.

Good staff, clean room. Although cold. Hallways are way old and looks strange. No smoke sign everywhere, still there are always people smoke cigarette/etc. Down the stairs.

Getting what you pay for. Maybe less than what you pay for. It is in North Van after all. Clean, minus a hair in the shower. Bed wasn't as bad as we initially thought and Wi-Fi without a password. Ain't gonna complain.

See photos* My room still had someone's old coffee pod in the coffee maker as well as black mold all over the walls (see photo). Bathrooms are rough looking with some of the fixtures loose on the wall, and the exterior of the hotel is really tired. If you're bringing a dog expect to pay about $65 more a day than you planned (call ahead to double check rates cuz our 4 night stay ended up being almost $800). Pho place at the driveway entrance is amazing though. Probably the best part of our stay.

You get what you pay for! Our cards stopped working after the first day. When I went to tell the front desk the lady said no one ever checked into that room. She was the same lady who checked us in haha. Room was not ready by 3 waited until almost 4 to get it.

Clean and great location. Front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cool clean. Will stay again!

Be carful when staying here, The staff here are very poor and if they see somthing nice in your room they will probably steal it if they have an oportunity. Or the next scenario would be call the police on you and say there is illegal activities going on and then police seize all your belongings in hopes that we wont retrieve our belongings from police and notice all the items the staff made off with. Nearly 4000$ of our items have still not been recovered and police say they dont have them! So if you want to be robbed of your things and completely taken advantage of stay here by all means, stay tuned for my civil court battle I now have to add to my schedule. Oh ontop of it they kept 300 dollar cash deposit. Coward hotel coward owner with little maids theiving each room day in and day out. Justice will prevail! And I hear im not the first and most likely not the last, but will see what a Judge says!

Travelodge is right on the highway and just across the Lion's Gate bridge from downtown Vancouver. Travel to Vancouver is quick and cheaper than staying in downtown. The manager at the front desk was friendly and great. Very welcoming.

This is a decent hotel at a reasonable price. The room was clean and we'll appointed. Staff was nice. Not a lot of extras but that is to be expected at the price.

Upset of the accommodating nature of this place. I work a night shift and work 6 days a week. Sometimes my work makes excellent progress and we move quickly from town to town. Other times it's slow. I simply wanted to move my reservation ahead one day so I called, was met with a very uncertain voice that said that the hotel policy has a 48 hour cancellation policy… NOWHERE on the website does it say anything about a 24 hour cancellation policy let alone a 48 hour policy… "double u tee eff" can't give a couple hard workers a break it seems.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I have never experienced such horrid and disrespectful treatment in my life, especially from management. During a power outage, safety protocols were not followed and we were left without any source of power at 2am. The reception desk was closed and it was freezing in the room. There are many other things that could very well be elaborated on, (no smoking rule seems not to be in effect, cleanliness of bathroom, etc. ) However, please just avoid like the plague. There are better places for the same (or lower rate), where you'll be treated like a guest and not like garbage.

Very clean hotel. Very friendly staff. Easy access to the bus to get to downtown, Stanley park, etc. Good authentic Vietnamese pho next door as well.

Great hotel close to downtown for a minimal price. No breakfast!

Great experience was there for one night only just to sleep, staff was accommodating and nice.

Room smelt bad of cigarette smoke upon arrival, even though the rooms are apparently "non-smoking". Rooms were outdated with stained, dirty carpets, tvs were small tube tvs, and the bathrooms were absolutely pathetic… The bathroom toilet was so tiny, and only had three towels at check in when there was 3 guests staying in the room. There was also no shampoo or soap holder, and the sink was glued and taped to the wall and also had burnt out mis matched light bulbs. We were a stay over and housekeeping had no plans on cleaning our room… So we called front desk to arrange service. It wasn't done until 4:30pm — when we were already gone all day. The only good thing about this place is free parking… And Denny's next door! :) Denny's was great, except it had very salty bacon. I would not recommend anybody to stay at this hotel — for these various reasons. We will not be returning.

Helpful staff. Our room want ready when we arrived and they upgraded us to a larger room. Hot water and good pressure. Beds can be a little squeaky.

I'm officially covered in bed bug bites. Just fantastic.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It was dirty, we had to request more towels because there was only one, air conditioner didn't work, Internet was horrible. Great location and friendly service though. Also, price was good, but I would fork out the extra $20 to get a better hotel.

Our clients have asked that we do not book them in this hotel anymore.

Over priced, dirty, not nice, and within walking distance of 3 other cheaper, nicer hotels. Give this one a pass folks.

Clean but no fridge and microwave. Asked for a non smokers room but smelled cigaret.

Stayed in Vancouver on a budget. After booking room in person on day of, later found same room on Expedia for $30 less. Room was clean, but obviously aged and in need of remodel 10 years ago. Woke up in the morning to see ever car in the parking lot had a "hate letter" on the windshield under each windshield wiper. Pleasant welcome, thank you Canada. On a positive note, it is very close to the Capilano Suspension Bridge (under 10 minutes). Will not return.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They advertise they have internet, they don't. They should stop advertising they have internet. It takes forever for each page to load and 1in 5 pages says "Unable to display this page" — really? in 2014. I was to spend 6 nights there but left after just 1 night — of course on checkout the clerk doesn't even ask if everything was alright because they simply don't care. If I'm going to spend 6 nights in a hotel it would be nice to have a small fridge, but there are no fridges in this Travel Lodge. For a little extra money, cross the street to the North Vancouver Hotel. There you'll get a fridge, a large flat screen TV, airy and clean bathrooms, and you won't be hearing gurgling noises all night long like at Travel Lodge. I will not be coming back tot he Travel Lodge and will not be sending any friends or clients there either.

We came here on Victoria's long weekend for a short vacation, it was a horrible experience being in this hotel. Please be nice to yourself and do not ruin your vacation by being in this hell hotel.

I stayed here for a day during my trip to Vancouver. I checked the prices of a lot of hotels and motels around the place but none could match this. All the places I visited, the Stanley Park, Capilano Reservoir, Mount Grouse and the Vancouver Downtown were just about 5 to 10 minutes drive from this place. So this was very comfortable for me to stay in. The rooms were exceptionally neat and the staff was very friendly.
